HERP DERP!
So, I found out a few exciting things today. I finished my EOC for math, but now I have to take ANOTHER math test (for who knows why) next week, and I have my science finals, a science project, and a giant end of the year project due next week so I probably won't get the intro example I was going to do done. BUT! I do have some good news. *takes deep breath* I GOT ACCEPTED INTO HONORS GEOMETRY!! Which only four people in my class did. Four. People.

Anyway, I decided to post since it's so quiet and lonely... :/
Anyone there? *shakes thread* DON'T DIE ON US NOW!

Shu, is it possible for us to meet up on Saturday or are you still too busy with exams? If it isn't going to work, don't worry about it.

Mwahahahaha. Yup! All we have is the last riddle left! So... Guess it should be called 'riddle' instead of 'riddles'. razz And sorry. I'm still very busy. D8 I have two more papers to go (which are very important) that ends on the coming Tuesday. So frankly after Tuesday it's 'I-do-whatever-I-want' mode and then I'll only be able to get kicking. =D

Congratulations on getting into Geometry H!
I'm actually going to be on vacation on the ball date. But I'm just going to help out anyways, before I go on the plane.
Plus I'm a bit new to this ball business, so I'm a bit clueless. (Sorry.) Is there anything here I can help with? owo

Right I am officially back and my exam is over and I am free. I had my iPod, laptop and ds confiscated until the exam was over and so I had no way to reach you guys. I'm sorry. And I have 6 weeks of school left *sigh*

I am very proud to say this. I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED EDITING ALL YOUR WORK!! WHOOT!! XD Check it out! Thank you all for the VERY interesting character descriptions here! I had a lot of fun editing it. XD Let's get into character! We've got a ball to complete!!

(btw, I am going to be gone from June 19th-20th because I'll be flying back to Malaysia, just so you know. Also, the descriptions will be up on the front page.)


James
James is a very, simple person.

He is an honourable man who spends his days drinking tea and reading books, that is, if he gets any spare time. He was bestowed the sacred duty as the peace maker between Juan and Luke, which he carries out with great dedication and care. Contrary to popular belief, he does not dislike carrying out the duty, after all, fights and scrabbles were simply wrapped up in simple, good times as days go by, and he felt blessed being able to witness the beautiful progress between the two brothers who were once trapped in the voids of bad luck. He was the man Luke persuaded to get a new tattoo, and the reason Juan bothered placing a brand new vase of flowers on the mansion’s bar counter every morning. And of course, let’s not miss out on the free, lovely soap dramas James adore watching, like that time when Reine was obsessed with Luke, how Juan is overly obsessed with Luke, how Luke is overly obsessed with his puppy and… you get the gist.

Even so, James, Luke, and Juan are very close. The man had looked after the little rascals and watch them grow into fine, young men, and so, the now old man is very proud for all that Luke and Juan do for people, but feels great bitterness and resentment to those who take advantage of Juan’s kindness, or how people fly into rages at Luke because simply because of his independence and pride. So, one can say that perhaps James IS like the big brother between the two they both need.

Oh, and one warning about James. He is not a person you would want to get provoke. He is certainly not a man to mess with when he gets angry. He treats people with respect when others treat him the same.




Reine
As the second child of 5, Reine was pressured as a child by her parents to become a business woman, even though she hated the thought of it. After her older brother became all that her parents wanted him to be, the burden of upholding her parents’ dreams was forced onto her. After a year of being forced into business school, she finally snapped. She ran away from home and vowed never to come back. Reine began travelling from town to town, taking up jobs to pay for her living. It was her dream to travel around the world and she hoped she would be able to keep it up.

One day, when she was walking back to her flat, Reine met a mysterious boy who refused to tell her anything about himself despite all her prodding and poking. Over the weeks curiousity got the better of her and on that day when she followed (stalked) him, saw him returning to an excuse of a house. Eventually, she got his secret out of him and at that moment, she realised she’s finally met another person who understands how she feels. The feeling of abandonment and loneliness that still eats her up at her very core. The both of them started spending time together, often running around vandalising rules and challenging authority, which seemed to be Luke’s way of filling the void.

Reine hated his brother, Juan, for this and the hatred only grew when she finally met him. Reine was jealous of Mitsukai for a small period of time when she fussed over Luke and tried to protect him but her jealousy evaporated when she realised Luke kept rejecting her. However, she still hates Mitsukai because she always sides with Juan and never sees the way Luke sees the world, and feels that they don’t try hard enough to understand him. Reine has a bitter disposition to adults due to her parents neglect to her dreams and feelings, and relates greatly to Luke. Eventually, she falls in love with him and after meeting him for the first time in hundreds and thousands of years (she was turned into an immortal by Luke to keep him company), she just want Luke by her side and tries to bring things back as they used to be.




Rosetta Rae
Rosetta Rae (last name unknown) isn't your average fourteen year old girl. Rosetta doesn't exactly know how, but she found herself on the doorsteps of the manor in tears after one tragic and rainy night when she was only ten. The landowners took her in and since then, Rosetta looks after the manor when Juan and Luke are out. Four years have passed and now, Rosetta thinks of them as older brothers. She can often be found in the garden, which despite it being snowy during the cold, winter days, is still kept green. Rosetta's friends are the manor inhabitants and the flowers, but she hopes that will change when all the party eager Gaians arrive. After being cooped in the mansion for so long, the young girl was absolutely eager to make friends.

Rosetta loves chatting with Gaians, but doesn't enjoy arguing or gossiping with people. When these two things usually occur, you can often hear her saying, "Beware... The flower's have ears. They know all." Rosetta hopes to make all the visitors happy and well informed. Also, Rosetta likes to keep all things in check, so there isn't any chaos. Yet she's sure that something bad will happen (it always does), so she doesn't know why she bothers trying.

Rosetta is quite shy, but she changes her attitude when the Gaians are around. She can be a tad ditzy, and clumsy, too. However, the girl is smart, especially when it comes to things about nature and wildlife. She has really good manners, and she is always polite and kind. Rosetta doesn't care about boys or money, she usually just keeps to herself and her 'family'. Rosetta's favorite things are Italian food, chocolate, nature, books, poetry, music, and rain. She wonders what shall be in store for the week of festivities...



Vincent Ezekial Valdette
Vincent Ezekial Valdette may look young, but there is reason behind this. This twenty-one year old man was born in 1600. He had moved to the area from his home country of Italy at the age of sixteen when his mentor, William Shakespeare had died in 1616. Back then, the manor was relatively new. Vincent found a job as an up-keeper in the manor, making sure things were clean and in check. It was here he wrote his best poetry, which can sometimes be found framed in many rooms amongst the manor. A lot of these poems were based on this death of his beloved mentor. Vincent spent most of his time cleaning, studying, reading, and of course writing poetry. Vincent's favorite things were girls, poetry, music, darkness, and colors. Oh how he loved reading in one of the more colorful rooms amongst the manor, it made him feel oh so alive. Alas, it was also here that Vincent fell in love with a woman named Shizuki and wrote many blissful poems about their budding romance. One day, however, their love was cut short when Vincent found himself cleaning the manor when he noticed a strange object. Upon touching and dusting off the object, a flash appeared and Vincent was gone. He has been missing in action ever since... Where could he have gone? Is he even still alive?



Mitsukai
Mitsukai is Luke and Juan’s guardian angel. She is immortal and has been with both of them since their parents passed away. She has average spiritual powers, being able to create large barriers and has minor healing abilities. Being a social butterfly, she loves friends and parties, so the ball is one of her favourite times of the year. She has a mascot: an angel imp that follows her around and aids her in her duties.


Sharing a very close bond with Juan, she had helped him as much as she could through the ‘dark times’. She loves Juan very, very much (as a friend!) and tries to ease his suffering much as she could. However, Luke prefers to keep her at arm’s length, to which she feels annoyed about. What harm could come in trusting another person? However, she greatly dislikes Reine. To her, the girl comes across as a moody, brooding teenager who doesn’t understand the beauty of the world: the complete opposite of herself.

As an angel, Mitsukai enjoys learning about wildlife and studied them for a year. Goes without saying, she enjoys tending to the gardens and tucking away at the cosy corner of the library reading or sleeping. She has a strong weakness for cute things (PINK!), and can be absent-minded at times.

P.S.: She has a tradition of setting off a Chinese lantern into the sky at the end of each party she goes to, as a finale for her night, so look out for it.




Luke
You don’t have to be a genius to figure out that Luke long is your average rebellious young teen. He doesn’t take crap from anyone, refuses to listen to authority (especially if that authority is Juan), and gets in trouble on a daily basis. Although he refuses to admit it, Luke likes getting in trouble as long as it gets Juan’s attention. After feeling neglected and abandoned by his brother who was always preoccupied with his work, he found that it was the only thing that gave him his attention, and after going about it for so long, habits are hard to break. Still, it isn't all about attention grabbing. (Hell, Luke lived for himself, and he dares you challenge this belief!) For the most part, Luke just loves having fun and sees no problem breaking the law to have his way. Life was too short to spend worrying, after all.

However, sometimes when he looks back and ponders about the things that have happened in those dark rainy days, Luke wished he could be the perfect brother to Juan, like how Juan is to him, but quickly changes his mind as soon as he and Juan get in yet another fight. But sometimes, when he sees Juan locking himself in his room after a fight and refuses to eat, he sees an image of Juan back in those hard days, working himself to the bone and secretly giving him all his share during meals. He sees his brother’s blood shot panda eyes and the skin wrapped around his bones and during those times he feels great regret because he’s missed his chance of being a good brother back then by giving him s**t loads of trouble and now that he’s given a second chance, he does not intend to let it go.

In a way, he's often envious of the close bond Mitsukai and his brother share, but tries not to let it affect him too much. After all, he's too busy out breaking rules (and laws) with Reine most of the time. At least she doesn’t go around nagging him, and was probably the only friend he had who understands him, for that he was terribly grateful for. She helped him deal and she helped him heal, and in a way, he thinks he loves her just as much as his brother loves Mitsukai after all.



Juan
A tough, young hot man to boot, Juan doesn't let his looks speak for itself. Sure, he stresses on the importance of manners, decency and daily ethics. Sure, he was a little overly obsessed about Luke and his antics, and okay, maybe wearing a suit on a daily basis WAS a little over the top but hey, Juan is still your average laid back guy who spends his free time chilling out in the sun or rolling around the bed or painting naked women and cats.

Deep down inside, Juan believed he was given the role to fulfil the mission his parents failed to, no matter how he wished it wasn’t true: the duty to take care of Luke. Sure, they had plenty of people to help, like the ever so calming James, or the caring Mitsukai… But at the end of it, he understands that it was his job to support his brother. Take the blows for him. Take responsibility of him. No matter the pain, no matter the hardships. But being only a few years older than he is, he struggles greatly to be a perfect brother and father and mother to Luke but he doesn’t know how to be, and is still pondering this answer till today.

He's torn over the fight with Luke hundreds of years ago, and deeply fears that he will cause more harm to him than he already had. Juan is extremely protective (overly paranoid) of Luke (despite all the years Luke robbed of him whenever he pisses him off) since he is the only family he has left. Generous and kind, he pretty much gets along well with people and enjoys interacting with people and sharing stories, but acts hostile towards Reine, as he views her as the poison seeds residing in his brother's soul. He adores kitties, and flies into a rage whenever Luke sets his favourite pet dog chasing his one and only beloved, besides Luke, because Luke always comes first, because family comes first. Because Luke was all he had and because his brother was his world, Luke will always be first. Before him, before the fate of the world.

XD Ahaha that was perfect. Reine: obsessed with Luke. Juan: Obsessed with Luke. Luke: Obsessed with...puppes?

They're awesome Shu biggrin They only problem I saw was the occasional tense change and a few run on sentences. Otherwise, I absolutely love em biggrin

Sub, where are you in the US? That should be fun studying that stuff :] It's alright, I'm just wondering where everyone ELSE is now. Although, exams probably haven't ended for everyone so we'll just see, I suppose.

And does the new date work for all of your guys? I won't be able to be here on the first day, as I'll be away at camp, but I'll be getting home the second day and jump right in as soon as I take a shower XD
