Cedric smiled. Even though he still didn't open his eyes it seemed magical compared to most. All anyone had heard from his was his music from instruments but he was able to open his mouth and started to sing. He sang a love song like it was meant for only him to sing.

Mercy seemed transfixed on the music flowing from his mouth. she closed her eyes as she recognized the song as the one she had to sing in a play so long ago. she couldnt hold herself back as she joined him, her voice sounding like angels and tiny bells.

The once talented, tall, dark, and handsome performer turned in a bit of surprise and horror. Someone had heard him singing and possibly playing his violin. He placed the instrument back into it's case and started to close it. Before moving away and kind of fast. He seemed nervous about something and he had to run away.

Cedric stopped. His music was beautiful. He had never heard anyone say that for a long time. He had even forgotten his violin playing for the guitar that he used at work on the piano in his room. The man turned to the girl. "Um... Thank you. My name is Cedric Hickman." He cringed after saying that. He just gave away this real name. His was famous. That was not a good idea.

"Unicorn." Cedric told the girl what he was. He was one of those few creatures that couldn't be corrupted. He's defense was on high before he had just said his name. He didn't know if she would attack anyways. At least she wasn't a lion. He was a cautious person. He didn't even know what she wanted with him yet.

Mercy chuckled at his nervousness. "well you're the first unicorn i ever met. not many people are comfortable with coyote shapshifters. but your music is very beautiful. my appologies if i frightened you." she stood up and slowly walked over to him. she picked up his violin case and handed it to him. "I believe you wanted this back." her brown eyes shone with careing and understanding.

Cedric took his case and held it to his chest over holding the handle. "Thank you." He felt stupid for leaving such a treasure. It was his mom's after all. It was left in his care. "I'm not afraid." He pointed out. He just didn't like people.

Mercy smiled. "well i wouldn't be wanting to leave my instrument around either. but i do hope you'll forgive me. i didn't mean to scare you. i'll go if you wish to be left alone." she gather her bag and was about to leave before shifting to coyote and hiding behind a tree to see if he'll play his music again, showing her tail so he would know she never left.

Cedric didn't really mind being alone. He just got freaked out when he was having a private music moment and some says or does something and he didn't know they were here. "You can stay." He called out. His voice was surprising loud this time. He didn't want to push people away. "Just please make noise. It scares me."

Mercy smiled when he mentioned that no noise scared him. she pooped her head out from the tree, her coyote eyes watching him. she got up and trotted over to him before laying down beside him. she seemed to have a coyotr grin on her face ad she looked up at him.

Cedric again closed his eyes and thought up a song that would work well with his voice and started to sing. He was well trained in music and he loved to create sound. He was glad that she at least wasn't going to make any more noise that would set him off into more nervous jitters. He had lived a sheltered life up until high school. His brother had home schooled him. Song

Mercy seemed to be placed under a spell as the unicorn sang. she shifted to human and looked up at him as he sang. she closed her eyes as she swayed back and forth to the rythem of the song. her light brown skin seemed to shimmer in the sunlight.

Cedric finished with the song. He hoped his audience liked it. He didn't want to ever make a person dislike music, no he wanted people to fall in love with music. He adjusted his vocals as he started something more of a glorious song compared to the last one. He hoped that she would like that one too. He loved the song because it matched his feelings when it came to music. Song
