"Okay, if I can do this really really fast" Astra thought out loud, again approaching the maze, "Then I can try dodge them all." With that thought in mind, she took to the air and flew into the maze.
The imp was only able to see a flash of something black, blue, and purple.

With her need for speed, she almost didn't slow down in time to prevent herself smacking into the boulder, managing only to stop a few inched away from it.
She quickly recited another riddle, and the bolder let her pass

Once she had reached the third part of the maze, the tell-tale signs of the growling beast were immediately heard. Astra could only see the flashes as usual, but it felt as if the creature was just outside. She put on a burst of speed, barely managing to fly past the thing as it attempted to get inside.

SMACK!
Apparently, the ghost horse had been anticipating her arrival, and she was not as lucky as she was with the golem, flying straight into the thing. Although, instead of attacking her, the horse ghost seemed to be slightly amused as she dizzily flew away from the maze, again without a prize.

Colette hadn't returned for awhile after her last attempt. She had been so close before! Ridiculously close, in fact. It was frustrating, but Colette didn't want to give up.
Ready for another try, the Reaper sighed and entered the maze. She made it a regular occurrence to wear her sneakers to this class for running, and it seemed a particular green imp made its own regular routine to get splinters in its foot.
"Why do you always get these in your foot?" she asked. It was pointless of course, the imp didn't reply. Colette was pretty sure it couldn't and she just pulled out the splinter like so many times before.
Step one, check. Time to move on!

Malodore crept cautiously into the maze - after last time, when that white hound had mysteriously been in the wrong part of the maze, it was just a little tense and jumpy...
"Top o' the mornin' to ya!"
Malodore flinched at the sudden loud shriek, then calmed as it realized it was only the imp. The imp, holding out that same impaled foot, grinning at it cheekily. "To you as well," the plague doctor mumbled, flicking the splinter out of the imp's foot with one claw.
Why was it grinning at it like that? Malodore backed away and kept one suspicious eye on it until the imp was out of sight... and was its imagination, or did it hear sudden peals of impish laughter after turning around to move forward?
"Pfwahahahaha! Raaaaaaaaar!"

Thankfully, no out-of-place hound presented itself, and Malodore proceeded down the familiar route to the boulder. "Buon giorno," it told the boulder, pleasantly. "Are you ready for your story-"
The boulder groaned and rolled aside. "Pass."
Well. That was easy! The plague doctor doffed its hat to the boulder before moving on.

- An out of place white beast there was not.
An in place white beast... there was.
At least this maze was improving Malodore's stamina and running speed!

Deciding to tackle the maze earlier in the day, Jericho stretched out before approaching the place. As usual, the imp was there waiting for him, being overly dramatic with its injury. Maybe that thing wasn't a splinter after all and was really a part of its body so it was feigning its pain. Whatever. Plucking the shard, he moved on.

Coming up to the boulder, Jericho let out a sigh while trying to think of some story to give it. He hadn't had much of a chance to whip up something different over the past days with groanspring devouring up most of his free time lately.
"Uh, there once was a rock that lived on a cliff. One day someone decided to push the rock off so it dove into the ocean, never to be seen again. The end," he mumbled, not putting a great deal of effort into this as usual. The boulder let him pass.

Further in the maze, the dragon was being rather wary, finding no signs of the hound. Was it asleep perhaps? He made his way through quietly while keeping an eye out for the beast. Seeing the room up ahead, Jericho thought he was going to move on without any issues, but then there the dog was, walking out in front of the room entrance with a particularly nasty snarl. With one howl, he charged after the student.

Upon entering the maze Hadiyya offered a very cordial nod to the sliver suffering imp. Their relationship had been rather strained since her second attempt at the maze, and there was still a level of awkwardness floating in the air between them. As of late though, things seemed to be smoothing out some.
When the nod was returned, the marid smiled, and happily helped the poor the little beasty out, removing the offending splinter from his foot before making her way further within the shrubbery.
