Ayden managed to pull Xain off of her shoulders after scratching him he had lost some of his grip. She set him down by his mother. "Now you need to eat. This one asks that you do."

Ayden smiled warmly. "He didn't the first time. This one had to tell his several times before he would do anything." She reached down and ran her finger down the vine on Xains back.

Ayden smiled and kissed Himalaya's nose. She looked down at the now, twice as big pups. "They do grow fast off your milk." She said gently. "But you need to eat too."

"As long as I have milk, they will grow quickly...I will eat when they have gone to sleep" she said.

Ayden turned to Xairan. "Xairan will you please talk some sense into her for this one?" Her voice was pleading

Xairan lifted his head, "Ayden is right Himalaya, you need to eat" he said. She merely shook her head, "I can last a little while longer. My pups get fed first then myself" she replied.

Ayden cheeks visably paled. "Watch others eat?" Her voice was high but quiet. She shook her head. "This one will stay here and watch the pups."
