The woman gave him a little grin in reply.
"Oh...you're still here?" Alex's voice came from the doorway.
Alex stood leaning against the frame of the door, draped in a long white bath robe.
"He's been here the whole time, Miss." the servant replied.
Alex kept her gaze on him, and gave a crooked little grin. "Oh? Why didn't he come in? Could have used an extra hand."
The woman blinked, then looked over at Luke. "The water usually makes people act a bit differently. Is she usually like this with you?"

Luke stuttered a bit, before finally saying: "N-no, she's... not normally like... like this..." he said, looking at Alex's flirtatious stance and unsure of what to make of it.

"Oh. Well would you prefer to wait outside until she's-"
"No...leave him be." Alex said, cutting the woman off. "If he's been waiting this whole time to see me, then let him see me...."
The woman blinked, then looked back at Luke for confirmation if he wanted her to leave.

Luke continued to stammer, and his expression was akin to the Bad Poker Face.
"A-A-Alex...? A-are you okay...?" he said, taking a step back and giving the servant a look that said: "If she gets too close, drag me out of here..."

"Of course..." she purred, walking out of the doorway and towards the two. Her gaze still fixed on Luke. "My back's a little stiff...nothing a massage won't fix. But other than that...." she said, then stopped and grinned at Luke. "I feel better than ever."

Luke was beet red in the face, and the only thing going through his head was: This is not good, this is not good, this is not good...
He took a few more steps back and said: "I-I-I, uh... I-I think I'm gonna... get some fresh air..." And with that, Luke fast-walked out of the room.

Alex blinked and stared at the doorway after Luke had practically ran out. The woman smiled a bit and turned her attention back to her. "Well then...why don't you lie down and get some more rest. Let the oil do it's job."
"........yeah." she replied, her tone rather disappointed. "Yeah...guess I should rest."

A few hours later, Luke was waiting in the main waiting area od Edel's home for Alex, having gone out and done a little vigilante work in the meantime..

Alex soon passed by the room. Her hair brushed out and in a black outfit. She paused, then stepped back into the doorway and looked in. Despite having slept twice within the last handful of hours, she looked...tired. Or unsure of something for some reason.
Carefully she walked into the room. A black tee shirt, jeans and boots now covering her figure.

Luke was initially wary when Alex walked in, but he quickly relaxed when he realized that her pheromones were not emitting "flirty".
"Hey, how was your sleep?" he asked her with a smile.

"You're upset about earlier," Luke said. It was a statement, not a question. "Well, I'll tell you why I left. You remember that promise I made back in the hotel? I wouldn't try to take advantage of you or anything? That's still in effect as far as I'm concerned. I gave you my word, and I'm keeping it."

"You wanted it, in part at least, because of that bath you took. The maid told me that the water and stuff makes people act... funny. So it wasn't totally all you, Alex, and... by that definition I would be taking advantage of you. I was raised to be better than that," Luke said soberly.
