 Kain laughs and quickly licks up the rest of his ice cream. His tail wagging happily. "That was delicious. How about we hurry and head to the ball." he takes her hand and heads out the door. (I'm gunna post there right now.)

The demon smiled as he looked at the cat that was on the girl's shoulder. It looked like not just the sketch had come to life, but the whole paper. It was fascinating to see this kind of magic in the Human Realm, especially in the first person he met here since arriving. Yvonne obviously had a lot more to her then met the eye. "So how much can you do? In terms of bringing things out of the sketchbook? Objects? Buildings? People?" He asked her with legitimate curiosity as he began reaching towards the sketchbook cat.

Rimpula nodded at Yvonne as he continued to reach towards the cat. As soon as he got his hand near the cat it pushed its face into his palm, practically begging to be petted. "Heh, thats a first for me. Usually animals and me don't get along all that well. Then again I guess this one isn't your average cat though huh?" Rim joked with Yvonne with a laugh as he heard the creature purr into his hand.
"I guess that makes sense. One thing you don't really want to mess with that much is the time space continuum. Things could turn out pretty bad if that was the case." He said to her as he pulled his hand away from the cat. Still, bringing animals out of the sketchbook like that cat was impressive. Imagine pulling out a elephant or a tiger. Yvonne's power could be really dangerous if someone else had it. Good thing it seemed like one she could use it.

Rimpalu's smile went away in a flash as a look of shock took over. Obviously she knew how to use the power of that sketchbook. Albeit, maybe a bit too well it seemed. "Well then, remind me never to get on your bad side. Last thing I want to see when I wake up is a minotaur." The red headed demon joked with the girl as a chuckle appeared from out of his throat. Truth was in his head the young man kept the idea in the back of his head as a reminder. No telling what would meet him at his doorstep if he made this girl's day bad. He shuddered inside at the idea.

A nameless Fuyu staff member walks up to the Ice Cream Shoppe and starts to ring an obnoxious silver bell, catching the attention of everyone in the store. "HEAR YE, HEAR YE!! HEAD ON OVER TO THE ICE BALL TO RING IN THE NEW YEAR! GO TO THE DANCING RINK FOR A FUN DANCE EXPERIENCE, THE DANGER LAKE FOR SPEED SKATING, HOCKEY, AND MORE THRILLING EXPERIENCES, OR THE SNOWBALL FIELD FOR A FUN DUEL IN THE SNOW!! THERES MORE! SKATING, SNOWMEN, SPAS, AND SNACKS! COME ONE AND ALL!!" She shouted and, as quickly as she had come, left.

Rimpula laughed at Yvonne's response and as soon as he was going to respond to her the staff member burst into the shoppe. Rim was so shocked from the sudden and loud noise that he fell from his seat and landed on his back. Picking himself up he heard the rest of the staff member's message. Once the shouting stopped, he picked himself up and began rubbing his back. "The art of subtlety obviously means nothing to people anymore. Though I must admit she got her point across." He said as he stood back up with an agitated look on his face. Now with his back sore and his ears ringing, the good mood he had was a little strained.

Rimpalu shook his ear out, trying to get the ringing out of his ears. Then he turned to hear Yvonne offer to go with him to the Ice Ball. He smiled and nodded at her, giving her a slight bow of his head. "It would be my pleasure Yvonne. Wherever you want to go, I will be your personal escort." He told her with a charming smile. He really like Yvonne so far, and looked forward to spending some more time with her. Being his first friend that he made here, he was happy she was comfortable enough to go with him. Rimpalu picked his head up and offered his hand to her.

She hadn't really planned on going to the ball, so she hadn't prepared anything to wear. I guess I could always wear the dress my friend back home bought me before I left....Where did I put it...? She looked at Rimpalu, blushing to see how tall he was compared to her. "Um....I have to go change into something a bit more...suitable....I'll meet you there, okay?" She hoped she hadn't sounded like she was going to bail on him, since she really was going to go put on the dress. "Promise." With that, she made her way out of the shoppe and summoned a small dragon about the size of a horse to take her back to the school quickly. [[ OoC: I'll post at the Dancing Lake thing. Seems suitable. ]]

 Kain was trotting through the town with his new love at his side. He heard a little kid say doggie and pointed at them, but his mother gasped. "Are those wolves?" She asks as the two of them came trotting out of the forest. Kain could see her pull her child close to her and pull out her cellphone. "Umm... we should probably hurry before someone tries to catch us and cage us up." He says as he starts into a run dashing around a few other surprised people. He wished the Ice Cream Shop was on the very outskirts of town. He didn't realize how two wolves running through a town would cause so much trouble.

Carissa nodded her head and took off running with him. She felt bad for the people they frightened. She looked at him and smiled. "Well at least we're not going to the store for clothing..." she looked nervously ahead " there it is!" she smiled again and kept running they had another block or two.
