She squeaked pleasantly, leaning in to kiss him back. "All right, I'll try my best not to send you to the poor house, then!" She giggled and hopped up, straightening her dress and starting the long process of pulling her boots back on.

She shifted her weight slightly to her other foot and pushed the door open a bit farther, still holding her bags in one hand.
"Um... You had said if I needed help to ask, I think..?" Despite her voice being too soft and sweet, it clung to the air and carried easilly to Bastian's ears.
"I was wondering if you might be able to help me put up my curtains?" she held up the bag that contained the royal purple drapes she'd picked out, "I'm not very tall, you see, so I have a bit of trouble doing things like that..." And it was true, Heart stood at only five foot, so even using a stool she was too short to comfortably reach high enough to put them up.

Nikolaus laughed, and shook his head, watching her pull her boots back on. Pulling his back on as well, and lacing them all the way up, he grabbed his jacket and slid it on. Adjusting the sleeves he made sure his wallet, with the money that witch had given him, was in place. "I assure you, gorgeous, you won't." Moving to the door, he peered out through a crack in the blinds as he went to make sure it wasn't too bright out. Opening the door, he smiled as he waited patiently for the beautiful dead girl in his living room.

He blinked, stupidly and sighed. Of course, he was the owner of the building. He was expected to do, and to know HOW to do this sort of thing. "Errr, yeah. I'll see what I can do." He flipped up his PDA, closing and saving what he was doing simultaneously and pushing to his feet.
She padded out after him, smiling warmly and straightening her dress one last time.
((Start out at the mall thread?))

Heart smiled hesitantly, muttering a soft thank you. She took a step back and shifted her bags to her other hand as she turned and stood in front of the door, glancing back at him once her eyes wandering around the office before turning again to wait.

He stepped around the desk, clearing his throat and looking down, awkwardly, holding a hand out and indicating for her to lead the way.

Heart glanced back at him again, turned forward as a small, amused grin spread across her lips. She 'led' him to the elevator and pressed the button to her floor as she stepped in, leaning against the side of the small compartment as they made their way up.

He followed, more awkwardly yet at being in such closed space, and let his mind wander vaugely to Miss Aurora. When they arrived at the apartment it's self, he followed her in, trying his best to seem tough and buissness like, which translated to soemthing more like slight puzzlement.
"Are the curtains already on the rod, or do they need to be slid on, yet?"

She blinked at him a few times, a soft laugh carrying across the room as she raised the bag with the curtians, again.
She smiled slightly and shook her head along with the action. "You seem a bit... Uncomfortable." Heart said gently, glancing away before speaking agian, "I'm sorry if it's my fault."

He shrugged without responding any further, taking the bag and drawing the curtains out. They just slid onto the rod, easy enough to do. Holding the curtains over one arm, he pulled the pole down with the other, and started pushing them across through the loop of fabric, sewn in.
'Lucius . . . . Aurora . . . . '

Silently, Heart walked off into the kitchen, shuffling about to put some of the things she bought away, and then returning a few moments later with a tray adorned with drinks.
She shifted a little bit and placed the tray down onto a side-table, glancing up at Bastian. "Um... Would you like something to drink?"
She didn't like feeling useless, and watching him put the curtians on the rod made her feel just that, so not to be a rude 'hostess' she decided to make this as comfortable as she could. Then again, she had a habit of messing everything up.

MoonChild "Well, I do, but I suppose I don't actually HAVE to." He dried the skillet, lit the stove and put it on, reaching for a couple eggs, breaking them, at once and dumping the two in the skilet, side by side, expertly. Tristian nodded, beaming still to his love. He hadn't eaten real food in months, but he was going to try it, Just for Lucius. Tilting his head slightly still, he swayed just slightly on his countertop seat. So...that girl in the hall was your sister? he asked, his voice light, rather fluttery. Do you have other siblings?

He shook his head, gently, looking up from the curtains and finally smiling, a little awkwardly. "No, thanks. I just came back from having coffeee, I'm all right." He reached up, holding the post and hitched it into place over the window, stepping back a little and straightening the curtains. "There, how does that look?"
Lucius smiled, brightly, nodding as he thought of Bastian. "A brother, Bastian. He's Bianca's twin. He's really industrious, when he gets onto something. Otherwise, he's a big slacker. Does too much pot, I think, but I never liked the stuff at all, so I'm probably no the one to ask." He sprinkled cheese into the egg on top and flipped half of it, then flipped the whole thing to harden it. "You'd like him, I think. He's very laid back and sweet when you get him comfortable and calmed down."

After walking back to the complex, Saber stopped for a moment to set the box down outside to stretch his arms and back. He then looked to Opheliah. "You still have that okay, love?"
