It's wonderful being able to speak with like-minded people, and even more so when they are able to support each other through all the good time and the bad.
You've been able to save 100k every week? I can barely get up to 10k...what's your secret to gold-getting?

My dog passed away this morning. She had congestive heart failure and had to be put down. Needless to say I'm highly upset right now. I just want to fall into bed and sleep for a few days right now...

Thank you. I'm feeling better today, because I realized I'd rather celebrate her life and her time with me than mourn her passing and the what if's that will never be. I'm okay with not being able to say bye to her (long story, tl;dr version we can't have dogs where we currently are living so she was being watched by someone else) because I know deep inside that she knew my bf and I would have if it had been possible. She was a damn fine dog, and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to not only know her, but to be her owner as well.

Oh I am SO SORRY!!! I do love your attitude about it though. It has been my experience that even when I decide on the better way of seeing it, I still go through spurts of depression.

@Love to Paint: Thank you. I'm sad about it, that's for sure, but nothing that I can't handle. I still miss pets that have passed long ago too. I still miss my bf's dog Akela, who Mange knew for her entire life. I like to think that wherever she is now, Akela is there with her. It brings me comfort to think so at least.

My cat is ridiculous when she nests. Last night my bf and I came home to find her curled up inside a project bag of all places that had been left on the bed. Luckily the project is fine hehe.

That's too bad. I wanted a snake for years growing up, but my dad is phobic so I never got one. Would be too expensive now, but someday I'd like one.

My dad's afraid of snakes too, the only thing stopping me from just goiing out and buying one regardless is the fact that you must have a proper licence for it. Now that I'm 18 though, I can apply for the licence...no idea where I have to go for that though... sweatdrop
