"Good. Then I bet this will be fun." He said smiling. "I'll take both of your lives right now." He continued. He appeared in front of Yoko, and Gripped his neck as he did Violet's.

Yoko's hand shoots up to the mysterious figures as it wraps around his neck. *This guy is fast* He thinks to himself as he tries to catch his breath. He lets go of the guys hand and punches him in the side of the head as hard as he can. *I have to make sure to get her out of here.* Was all he could think as he hit the man.

The man threw Yoko back. Now he was mad. "You will never get away with that..." He said. He pulled out two butterfly knives, and throws them up and around once or twice. Then he gets into a battle stance. "I'm ending your lives now." He said.

Yoko stumbles back as the man throws him. he catches his breath real quick before taking his stance again. Staff in hand he measures up the man. *This is gonna be interesting.* He thinks to himself. He lunges forward and thrusts the staff aiming for his right side.

The man dodges Yoko's attack, but only barely. His shirt ripped open on the right side, revealing the cut Yoko had just made. "Wow. You're pretty good, kid. Atleast I'm not killing a total rookie..." He said laughing. He lifts his knives and prepares to attack Yoko, but was stopped as Violet jumps in the way. "I don't think so... you're not hurting anybody here." She said, more serious than she's ever seemed.

Yoko steps back as the man prepares to counter. He stops dead in his tracks with a look of shock on his face as Violet jump between them. "What the hell are you doing? He is trying to kill you and your putting yourself in his line of fire? I am trying to protect you." Yoko growls at Violet.

"But I don't want you to risk your life for me, because you don't deserve to get hurt because of me, so I won't let it happen." She answered him, still in a serious mood. "Well good! I can get this over with faster!!" The man said, getting frustrated.

"What are you after?" Yoko asked the man. "And I don't care if you don't want me too. I am going to protect you. Like I said, I don;t have to many friends, but the one I do have I will protect with my life." He said in a serious tone.

Violet turned and looked at him. "Alright, but please don't hurt yourself..." She said. Then the man speaks. "What I'm after... Is the pendant she has with her. As long as she has it, I can't become immortal and kill her family. So excactly, why would she want to give it to me? I'm gonna take it!" He said, smiling widely, and charging at her as she was turned to Yoko.

Yoko reacted without thinking, He dropped his staff and grabbed violets arms, spinning on the spot and taking the mans attack.

Violets eyes widened as Yoko got hit, and she grabbed hold of him as he fell down. "Yoko no! I knew this would happen!.. It's all my fault!" She said holding on to him. She looked up at the man. "How dare you..." She said, now she was angered deeply.

"GAAH!!" Yoko said as he collapses. "That hurt." He said as he looks up at Violet. "This guy isn't gonna hurt you. I told you that. And now I have proven it to you." he says through gritted teeth. He claps his hands together. "What ever happens, don't be afraid." He places his hand on the ground and then out of nowhere an earthquake cause the ground to open underneath the three of them. Yoko wraps his arms around Violet and holds her close as they begin to fall.

Yoko holds Violet close. The earth is shaking all around them. "Did you see him fall in?" Yoko asked over the roar of the rushing wind.

"Well actually, I can't see him at all. But i looked over there, I think I saw him but I'm not sure. i'm hoping so.." She answered as best as she could.
