Selina grit her teeth as they clashed, expecting the girl to block her first attack, thanks to thank boy, turning the blade Sei had blocked, Selina stabbed it into the ground using it as a volt over Sei, using her other katana to block the blade in which was coming for her throat, "speak for yourself" she replied in a calm tone, as she volted over the girl, quickly releasing the katana she used as a volt, coming over Sei, Selina quickly grabbed the katana, standing back to back with Sei now. as she sheathed one katana, keeping the other out.

Satoshi looked at James' pathetic position. James was sitting at the very edge of the roof, almost falling off, his weapon was on the ground below and out of his reach, and his face looked a little panicked. Satoshi sighed. He removed one of his spare daggers from his side and tossed it to James. "Here."
James caught the dagger with little difficulty. But he was confused. Satoshi was just going to kill him, right? Why give him a weapon? "What? Why?" he asked.
"There is no honor in killing an unarmed opponent," Satoshi answered simply, preparing himself for attack. He waited until James was on his feet and stable before attacking.
James blocked the attack easily enough, but he was knocked slightly off-balance. However, he easily regained his balance before he could fall.
Satoshi, now that he was closer to James than before, examined James' face carefully, and was surprised by how young he was. "You can't be more than 14 or 15. Why do you wish to fight? You still have your whole life before you," Satoshi said.
James looked at Satoshi, determination showing in his eyes. "I fight for what I believe in. I will not give up until Aki is restored to the throne and takes his rightful position of king of Faren. I will fight to help him achieve that end even if it costs my life," he said.
"Why? It is futile."
"Because Aki is like a brother to me. He has been for the last two years. That will not change just because I found out he's the prince. And it's not futile. He can achieve that goal as long as he has friends like Hana and the others. They can help him reclaim our country."
"Hm...I am interested in seeing how far he gets before he is stopped. I will not kill you. Not yet. Nor will I kill Aki. Not today, at least. It might be interesting to keep this fight going a little longer. It's not everyday I get to enjoy a good fight," Satoshi said and backed off. "But I promise you, I will be there to stop your little resistance. I won't let Gailor fall so long as I draw breath."
"You should take your dagger ba-"
"Keep it. As proof of my promise."

 When James friend got Aki away from the platform Renka glanced between them and Hana then Inui and Selina, he had to keep to his promise and do what he could to protect the prince, but lagged behind a little and either hid or took out soldiers that came his way. Not too long later he found the two without much difficulty, "This kind of hiding spot won't last long Prince Aki..." he didn't know if the prince would remember him since they only met briefly before the got captured. Renka absentmindedly rubbed the spot on his arm that the arrow hit, she usually had some kind of poison in the arrow, but he was mostly immune.  Sei just calmly stood there back to back with her opponent, grinning slightly since she'd noticed Renka run after the fallen prince. "...you sure you want to leave him alone with your precious prince? Last I knew, he had quite the grudge against certain royalty.." she kept both her blades at tready.

Saura smirked evilly as she finished polshing Nibai Oujou and placed them back into their sheates. Stretching out her back Saura slowly sstands up and exits the small hut that she had just been in.
Turning her eyes towards the sun Saura shakes her head and heads back into the hut to grab her satchel bag and head out. Her nose turned up she heads towards town.

Kari looked at Renka as he came over. She didn't know if she could trust him. That was, until he spoke. The way he warned them that the hiding spot wouldn't last long just made it sound like he could be trusted. "You're right." She turned to the prince. "Prince Akihiko, we must hurry and get out of the city before-"
"There he is! It's the prince!" Some Gailor soldiers were standing at the end of the hallway, pointing at the group. Suddenly, they were struck by a yellowish light and Hana came into view.
"This way! Quickly!" Hana called.

Selina smiled lightly, remaining where she was also, "one, he's
not the only one with the prince. Two, the prince can handle
himself against someone like that, three, he protected the prince
to get himself hurt, wheather he wants the prince dead or not, by
the time he gets to try, it'll be swiped away very quickly"
Selina let out a light chuckle, tightening the grip on her katana.

Saura gazzed back up at the sky and tried to figure out how long she had been walking for. Realizing it could have been no more then thrity minutes she wanted to cry. "Why the hell do I have to be so far away from everyone. I just don't get it, prehaps I was right and they think of me as a liability." Frowning sadly Saura shakes her head and takes a deep breath, "no, come on show no fear or weakness. I must kill all for my King." Steadying herself Saura spots the entrance to town about another thrity minutes away and takes a deep breath. "Time to do some killing."

Renka tensed and twisted his scythe around, preparing to attack until Hana came. He looked back at the prince and the girl, "You two go first, I'll guard you from behind." he said as he glanced around, alert for any other threats till they got away. Sei sighed, "Fine...but don't say I didn't warn you when my brother plants a knife your back.." she said before twisting around and swiping both blades back toward her foe.

Selina didn't hesitate, quickly jumping foward as she felt the slightest movement of Sei against her back, avoiding Sei's attack "seems like you're the one trying to stab me in the back huh?" she chuckled lightly turning on one foot, then jumping towards her now, slashing her katana down.

Aki looked at Renka and nodded. "All right. But catch up as soon as you can," he said, then he ran toward Hana, Kari following at his heels.
Hana glanced behind as she heard running behind them, expecting to see guards. Instead she saw James.
"We'll never get out if we take the main entrance to the city. Come on, I know another way out. I used it all the time when I was little," he said. Then he started running toward his grandfather's house, the other three following behind him.
((Bleh. I'm being lazy right now. XD))

Renka kept his distance when Hana, Aki and the girl followed James to whatever escape he knew of. He took care of a few soldiers that spotted the four before they could call for backup or draw attention to the escapee's. Renka spared a few glanced toward where he'd left his sister and Selina, slightly worried, but focusing on the task on hand. Sei grinned as she brought her blade up to parry the katana, "True..but at least I'm not trying to be your friend..after all, it's Faren's fault our home was ruined..my brother saved the prince so he could kill the brat himself." she said as she swung her second, poisoned, blade at Selina's waist.

((Okay, so I'm leaving to go camping with my dad tomorrow. I'll be back on either Sunday or Monday.))
James led the other three to behind his grandfather's house, where he stopped and looked around. "It's around here somewhere..." he muttered.
Hana placed her hand on her forehead and shook her head. "Don't tell me you don't know where it is..."
"I know where it is! ...I just have to remember where, that's all," James said. "Wait here, I'll go find it." He then walked off toward the wall that enclosed the city, which was right behind the house. He walked over to a section of the wall that was hidden by a tree and examined it closely, finding what he was looking for. There was a crack in the wall, leading outside the city. The crack was large enough for a fully grown man to squeeze though, albeit with a bit of trouble, yet small enough and well hidden enough to not be seen at a distance.
"Here! Over here!" he called to the other three, who ran over. "This crack leads out onto a mountain path. The path isn't well known, even by bandits. We should be able to get away through here."
Hana nodded. "I'll go first and make sure Gailor hasn't found it and have soldiers waiting for us," she said and slipped though the hole. A few moments later, she reappeared. "It's safe," she declared and disappeared again. Aki quickly slipped through the hole, followed by Kari and then James, as they heard soldiers running just in front of the house, most likely searching for them.
((Um...I'll leave it at that for now. I'll pick it back up on Sunday/Monday.))

Aki emerged from the hole in the wall. He had managed to slip through the hole with no difficulty, being slightly smaller than the average boy, and, considering they were both smaller than he was, Kari and James also got out with no difficulty. As soon as he and the other two were clear of the wall, he examined their surroundings. The mountain path they were on was rather high up. Aki hadn't actually realized how high up the mountain Tinto really was. Looking at it from the other side, it looked at though it were just situated on a high hill, not climbing up the side of a mountain.
"Tinto is on quite the strategic location. The elevation on which is is located would cause any invaders some difficulty getting up before any archers could pick them off," Kari observed.
"Nice observation. Unfortunately, that won't help us much in the current situation," Hana said. Then she turned to James. "How far does this path go?" she asked.
James shook his head. "I don't know. I've never been all the way through it," he said sheepishly.
"What? You don't know!? You're the one who suggested this, and you don't know if it will actually get us to safety!? You don't even know if we can get away from Gailor this way!? You don't even know-" Hana exploded.
"Hana, it's no use yelling at him," Aki interrupted. "At least he got us out of the city. He may not know where this leads, but at least he gave us a chance to escape. If we hadn't left through here, we wouldn't have been able to leave the city at all, and we probably would have gotten captured. And I would still end up getting executed, rendering this entire rescue operation pointless."
