The man hissed, the fire from her fists burning through his clothes and scorching his back. "Best interest?! My daughter was stolen!" He shot his arm upward, catching her ankle, then tossing her in a different direction weakly. "You expect me to believe that was in her best interest?" He knew he wasn't going to win this fight, but man's pride wouldn't allow him to stop.

"What ever you say Slim," she growled and charged at him again blasting a huge ball of fire at him. She did her best to stay focused on what she was doing with her hands and feet but what he said made her curious even though she tried to keep herself from being so.

Though he was breaking the marine code, Skinny told her of her weakness "You grow it gives away your location. No matter how strong you are, if the other person know as your place then you are done." He said as if he was a genius at the subject

Kaileigh slide to a stop softly. She looked over at Dahlia's imprisoned form in the vines and then back at the father. "If you were a real father maybe you'd see that it was," said Kaity standing up and going back at the man but sending fire at him with her fist too. "Just look you've had her what a couple days? If it was in her best interest to be with you, Doll would have a smile painted across her face like everyday she does when she's with us. But you don't desire a smile from your daughter."

"What ever," she repeated charging at him again this time from below and slashed up wards. Stand the hell still! she roared in her mind becoming a little bit frustrated and annoyed at this man and her tiredness was putting her on a further edge.

Thorne was taken aback by her statement, as it was the truth, and sometimes the truth hurts. "A smile?" He whispered to himself, momentarily flickering his eyes towards his daughter. She wasn't smiling, she wasn't even meeting him in the eye. He really wasn't a good father.
In that moment he didn't keep his eye on the opponent, the flames hit him head on, sending him sprawling backwards. The entire front of his face was burned, and the vines constricting Dahlia slithered back into the ground. He rolled away, not wanting his face to be seen. Whether it was because of the burning or because of his shame, it wouldn't be known. "Get out of here. Just go!" He roared angrily in an a demanding voice.

"Hit me once and you can go back, but if you don't hit by the time your friends return, then I'm holding all of you." Randy knew that Thorne must have given up by now. He knew that the kid only have about 5 minutes before the whole crew returns.
Hm lets see 5 minutes, thats how long I can last. Skinny said to himself. He looked side ways an found that Fat gave Jerome a hard time as Fat's body was as hard as diamond. Thus he has a body of diamond like a man from the past named Diamond Joe. Should he show his ability now after all he only had five more minutes to hold up. Nah the phoenix needs to be hidden.When both Fat and Skinny took of there shirt, it revealed a belt of a falcon for Skinny. Fat had a 50lb weight wrap around his body with the falcon sign on it.

Lake smiled,he seemed to like this proposal. He glared at Randy and observed his position. Lake added an immense amount of air and wind onto his feet. This caused him to launch like a rocket towards Randy. As he flew in the air he holds onto his sword tightly and as he approaches Randy he makes a quick swing.

Frusrated that she wasn't doing any damage to him and he wasn't attacking back at all. She wondered what the hell he was doing not doing anything at all. She crouched down on the ground just glaring at him and watching him, she wasn't going to attack if he didn't fight back, that was just a waste of time.

Randy easily parried his attack to the opposite direction. He gave him a mocking smile as the time was up but he looked closer to his jacket and found that it was cut. "Not bad kid, now wait for your friends and I'll let you all pass."
"Well one more minute then I guess its time." Skinny took of some strange seal wrap around his wrist then in a matter of seconds he was on fire, not normal fire but phoenix fire.

'Stop joking with me sir, it is obvious that my attack was too unstable a man with your skills should have been able to avid that."Lake was serious he knew that his devil fruit ability was the hardest to control. He hated when people joked around with him in serious situations.

 Dahlia was almost in complete shock, why the sudden change in father's attitude? But he had ended up being wrong, her friends had come for her. Even after what she did. Kaileigh snapped her out of her troubling thoughts, bringing her back to a better reality. "You guys came for me?" She asked stupidly.
