Question: have you thought of any Card games/Dice games/Gambling in Mandor?
I was thinking of introducing a game called "Chalice" (basically Texas no hold 'em poker, but change some of the high cards names changed [Jack to Knight, Queen to Lady, King to Sovereign, Ace to Chalice]) in my next post

What's Texas No Hold'em? o.O
I know Texas Hold'em, but I've never heard of No Hold'em before. Are there different rules?
Anyway, I'm not sure if there's actually a tavern-tavern in the fort. It's a fortress, not a city.
There might be some sort of informal gathering place, though, I suppose.

There's really no difference except the mentality of how you play.
I was really thinking of it as like a small building somewhere in the fort where people go to gamble and drink, kinda like a relaxing area. I'm only calling it a tavern because that's what it reminds Isto of.

Okay, I guess. Maybe try to make it more primitive somehow. biggrin
It should be very informal, and people wouldn't do all that much cheating, since first of all they're in Mandor, and secondly they're supposed to be soldiers, and everybody looks up to the chivalric knightliness. wink

It's Kaiden, Ru and Rin who are the 3, and they're gonna be used to establish the fact that isto hasn't been seen in An in almost a year. I'll pm you and give you the run down on what i got so far, i can tell you they're not gonna stick around long - same deal with Ciel and Gaspard. Once we leave the fort I really don't think we'll be seeing any of the five any time soon....unless we HAVE to do some order from the Ebon Blade wink
