Ichi continued to look around the training canyons for the remainder of the day; as he looked the Genin saw no one that could be considered a ninja or at least no one he thought was the correct people he was looking for; after the remainder of the day had passed and the sun as going down Ichi let out a long sigh and decided to head back to Tanto's office.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  Supervising genin? Akeru was starting to feel like she really was a chunin now. She figured it was only a matter of time before she was given missions to singlehandedly defend the village from certain destruction; missions she would complete easily, of course. For now, however, it was time for her to become a teacher of sorts. "So, how am I going to help them? Hmm...in all truth, I'm not really that much more experienced then they are. Hmm...maybe that's what we need...to practice completing our objectives in a combat situation..."Lucky for Akeru, she was extremely clever. She figured out a way to test the team's combat and information gathering skills. Now she'd just have to set everything up. "Kyou must want to go train alone for a reason, so if I let the prize for them winning be them getting to go their own way for the rest of the day, it should get them to cooperate. "

A while after Akeru arrived at the Training Grounds, Ichi walked up to the area that they had been ordered to come too. Ichi was his same normal self; his arm help loosely to his side; however unlike before the exams; where it would be held there for defense it seemed that now it was simply held there out of instinct or reflex. Ichi would have said something to Akeru asking what they where going to do but 1, she outranked him, and 2 Kyou wasn't here at the moment.

Kyou walked up to the rest of the group and looked at the two. What were they going to do now...? Knowing Akeru, they were probably going to fight... she really hoped not...

Within every illusion, there is reality" Akeru looked back and forth from Ichi to Kyou. She knew that the two probably needed to work on their own, to develop new techniques and improve themselves. Hopefully this wouldn't take too long, seeing as she needed to do the same herself. "Okay you two. It's important for both of you to improve on your own, but I think we could all stand to learn a little more about working together. So, I have a simple task for the both of you."Akeru took out a blue cloth and showed it to them. She then took it in her hands and got out a pen, writing a short message in the cloth before folding it up and putting it in her pocket. "It's simple really. You just have to find out the message I wrote on the cloth. You can try to force me to tell you, or you can take it from me...or whatever else you come up with. Once you do, we can get to our individual training. So, do you guys think you're up to it?"Akeru didn't mention that her genjutsu abilities would make it all the more difficult for them. But a team had to be able to overcome such challenges.

Kyou listened to Akeru as she said they needed to figure out what she wrote. she blinked as she looked at her. What could she possibly do to figure that out?! Kyou was a tracker, she wasn;t any good at anything else... all she can do is hide and track... though she did have some tools... she could give it a shot... "O-Okay... I guess we c-could try..." she said as she looked at her nervously. This was her first time working with Ichi since beore the exams... and it had been a while. And she can already tell he was different... he had changed so much.

"So K-Kyou...." Ichi said looking over as his once again partner. "Should.....we take it by force?" He asked tilting his head slightly as he asked this. "Combat training a-at the same time?" He asked still waiting for Kyou to answer, He was sure that the two of them could take out Akeru, even if she was a Chunin and they where only Genin. Waiting for Kyou to get the answer from Kyou for the answer that he had asked her.

Kyou glanced at Ichi as he asked if they should take it by force. He still stuttered as he spoke, just like the old Ichi, but the words he said were different. Ichi would have used his head and avoided a fight instead of sugesting they start one... he definently changed... But Kyou nodded nonetheless. "Y-Yea... that's probably a good idea..." she said. It really felt like the old times, but they had both matured, at least Ichi did... Kyou's attitude changed slightly, but she still couldn't manage much... she hadn't gotten a chance to train. She reached into her backpack and pulled out her gloves with the metal claws and slipped them on her hands. It's been a while since she had fought... this will be interesting...

Within every illusion, there is reality" "Ooh, thinking to take me on in battle? Pretty bold...for you two at least."Akeru wasn't stupid. She knew that trying to fight the both of them off while protecting the cloth would be more of a test for her than for them. Luckily, it wasn't exactly what she had planned. "However, I unfortunately am not going to just sit back and let you attack me. Just like you two can do anything to get the message, I can do anything to prevent you from getting it. So, if you want to fight me or not, you're going to have to catch me first!"Ichi and Kyou would both see the crosshair-like patern in Akeru's eyes begin to swirl in towards the center of her eye, one of the few indications of Akeru casting a genjutsu. Flower petals seemed to swirl around her for a second, and in the next she was gone, the petals slowly drifting towards the sands before fading away. (Flower Petal Escape) Akeru made it to the entrance of the training canyons. She was sure that Kyou could track her, so it was time to force them to chase her. She'd set up spme surprises for them...she just had to remind herself that these were allies. She headed out of the canyons towards the housing units.

Kyou blinked as Akeru said something about fighting her. She knew that, but she was surprised when flower petals filed the area and she dissapeared. Kyou needed to find her, and she needed to focus. Kyou closed her eyes and made a handsign as she focused her chakra to her nose and sniffed lightly. She knew Akeru's chakra signature, she had already become very familiar with it, so it will be easier to find it. She scanned through all the different scents... sand, Ichi, her own... now she just needed to find Akeru. Focus... focus... There is was! She had found the trail of Akeru's chakra scent... and it lead to, the entrance? No it went further then that... the housing units. She was playing a game of hide and seek... but Kyou could find her easy. "She's heading for the housing units... come on." she said to Ichi and closed her eyes once more and ran off, following the scent, the trail of chakra that she could practically see, Akeru's chakra. She could run, but with Kyou's tracking ability, she couldn't hide... Kyou could track, but she couldn't fight, but she was with Ichi, and they had been teamates before... so they could work together. She could track her, and Ichi could fight her... yea, tht could work... but for now Kyou just ran with her eyes closed, focused on following Akeru's chakra's scent.

Ichi looked at Akeru as she said that she wasn't just going to sit there and simply let the two of them just take the note from them. However as the girl shattered into a burst of flower pedals Ichi looked over As Kyou who said that she was heading towards the Housing district. "Alright.. Lead the way" Ichi said nodding to Kyou, He had his scrolls ready and all set for use; he just needed to actually know where Akeru was before using them. All in all Ichi was lucky for the fact that Kyou was a sensor type, or else this would have been extremely annoying with having to try to find Akeru without being able to track her.

Kyou kept her focus locked on Akeru's hakra trail as she ran towards the entrance of the canyons. She wasn't going to loose the trail, she never did... She could see it like a blue ribbon, winding it's way through the air, leading her right to Akeru, no matter where she was hideing... It will be easy to find her... right?

Kyou walked into the area and looked around and sighed. The training canyons looked so empty… but that was a good thing at least… That would make it easier for her to focus, you know…. Without getting distracted. As long as no one’s looking at her she can do this easy… It looked like she was all done with the missions for now... and the exams are around the corner, so she should really train... It looked like her summoning really worked; at least it did last time. So… she should be able to do it again during the exams… right…? So she should train her other abilities... What else could she do…? There was her taijutsu with her claws, but that wasn’t really much… but she had to know something else. She just needed to think… something else… like her cloaking genjutsu, because it really needed work. Yea, that could really work ... maybe she can fix the problem where it cancels out when she moves...? Yea… she always had that problem where she had to focus too much, and whenever she moved or lost her focus, just the slightest bit, then she was completely visible again. Of course, sensory ninja’s can still find her, but that didn’t really matter to her. As long as she could conceal herself properly, that was all she cared about. Okay… so she needed to prepare herself, and get this done. But where should she start…? Well her main problem was her concentration, that’s why she lost it so easily, and it took a lot of chakra. Okay, she can do this. Kyou took her hands and put them together in front of her as she closed her eyes and focused her chakra. Okay, just concentrate… concentrate…. Soon she disappeared from sight entirely. Okay, so far so good… now she just needed to keep it working as she moved. She opened her eyes carefully and took a step, and instantly lost her concentration and she became visible once more. That clearly didn’t work… what could she do…? Maybe… she could store her chakra, and get ready so then that way all she needs to do is concentrate. Kyou nodded, making up her mind and sat down in the sand and crossed her legs. Okay… she can do this… She closed her eyes once more to let herself focus on her chakra carefully. She slowly worked carefully and stored her chakra until she thought she had enough. That should do for now. She stood up and decided to try it again once more. She clapped her hands and focused with a now determined look. She then disappeared once more and took a careful breath. She can do this… she took a step and fazed slightly, but she managed to stay invisible. Awesome! Okay, so she can take one step… not much help in a fight… it was just really hard to concentrate. But she just needed to practice and she could do this no problem. Okay, next try. She went and took her hands apart and once again she became slightly visible for a moment, but managed to return to completely invisible. This was actually working! She carefully moved her arms around and it felt like it was still working. She then put her arms in front of her face and saw that they were still completely invisible. You couldn’t see her at all… Okay so that worked. She moved around carefully, moving side to side all the while managing to stay invisible completely. She then pulled out some kunai and held them in her hands. They were still completely visible… only she was invisible. Okay… she needed to figure this out now… She closed her eyes for a moment, and then opened her eyes as she focused on the kunai, stretching her invisibility over the weapons. She fazed in and out a little, and then she lost it all together… She panted and dropped the kunai. That diffidently took a lot out of her…. But she still hadn’t managed to get it to work the way she wanted… so she’ll need to try again. She put her hands together for a moment and focused until she disappeared once more. Now she needed to go and try to maintain it. She took a step and managed to do it without fazing at all. She then took another and another and started to run in a random direction. She was flickering slightly as she ran, but she was invisible for the most part. She then stopped and stayed completely still, easily staying invisible. This was working, it was actually working! She jumped in the air and landed as carefully as she could. She looked at the ground and noticed even though she was invisible, her footprints weren’t concealed at all. The sand made it very easy to tell where she was… How could she fix that… ? She decided to try and apply chakra to her feet, like you do when you run on water and she tried running. It worked for the most part. There was the slightest little foot print, but barely noticeable, so she managed to pull it off. She ran around a bit and practiced with her kunai and soon it became easier and easier for her. Her cloaking genjutsu was really working well, much better then before. Now she fixed the main flaw, so she really had nothing else to worry about. She let the genjutsu release and stood there with a smile. She felt really accomplished, like she really achieved something here, which she did. She managed to improve the main flaw of her genjutsu. She smiled proudly and went to take a step, but then she collapsed on the ground. She sat there for a moment with a small frown. Well… she fixed the problem where she couldn’t move, but it looks like it took a lot out of her. She will just have to be careful with using that, and only use it when necessary, and not for too long. She dusted herself off and stood up carefully. Well, she got to do what she wanted to train at least…

Ichi walked back into the training Canyon; he had done the practice that he had wanted to do before he had returned to here but other then that Ichi had no idea about what he wanted to do. He wanted to learn some other Jutsu like Genjutsu release but he had no way of learning it seeing as how he didn't even know how genjutsu worked in the first place; if only Akeru or another Genjutsu user was here, he would have asked them for some training.

Kyou had sat down in the sand to rest up a bit, then stood up with a slight stretch. She turned her head and sniffed lightly as she smelled someone approaching and soon recognized who it was. She turned around and smiled at Ichi with a smile. She was actually in a good mood. A little... confident? Yea. All her training has given her a little confidence in ehrself, but not alot... she was still the same old nervous, jumpy, Shy Kyou. "Oh... Hi Ichi." she said with a small smile as she looked at him.
