Terry looked at Hataki. "You sure?" He took the fox cub from him. "Alright. Don't get beat up too much. I don't know how well I'll be able to heal your from the mountain cabin supplies..." He pet the fox once and started running, then stopped again. "If they bring out crystals, run away. These priest torture their captives."

Terry didn't stop until he reached the cave. "Kenshin, bad news, we have to run. Demon-slaying monks have shown up! I think those hunters sent them!"

"Hataki is fighting them right now. But I'm going to help him out as soon as I get you to a safer location." Terry handed the fox cub to Kenshin. "I've told this little one here how to get there. Go." He looked outside the cave. "All this happened because of something I started by coming here with my brother. As the final living of the two, I indebted to these lands for letting me stay." He smiled at Kenshin. "It's about time I returned to favor."

Terry waited until Kenshin and Hati were out of sight, then went back to find Hataki. When he spotted the other runnin gin his direction, he immeditaely stopped and put his hands together. "It's been a long time since I tried this but... Spirits of now, spirits of old. Heed my call, as I speak to thee now. There are those who would disturb the wood, the very wood that now houses me. I call you now, and now you shall, pass your judgement on these who tread so foolishly! Ketsu!" A ring of light apeared around him, and the shot forward. As they flew past Hataki, they transformed into tengu.

Terry watched with satisfaction. "Yes! It worked! U-Ugh..." He fell to one knee. "I~~ knew that would happen..."

Terry groaned. "I was making time to run." He climbed onto Hataki's back. "You're okay though...right?"

Terry chuckled. "Then it was worth it." He fell silent after that, but only because he had fallen asleep.

By the time the priests managed to dispel the tengu, they had expelled most of their strength. "So...that cursed woman's off-spring still lives." Said one of them. "We just came to confirm it, to do more would be to endanger our lives. Let's leave for now..."

Upon being laid down near Kenshin, Terry instinctively put an arm near Kenshin's head, in the event the other wanted to sleep on it.

Terry stayed like that for a moment before opening one eye. "...You gonna just stand there?" With his free hand, he indicated the space on the other side of him. "...Even if you're not that injured, a nap will still do you good." He smirked.
