"Verduun, we need some back up ASAP it appears they've made their move."
Rakata said over the mic. he ran up next to Riena, who had iced Alex's wound. "TJ isnt here right now, ill do it." he took the leftover energy from the dying soldiers body and transferred it to Alex, specifically using it to heal the wound as best he could.
"well, its not as good as what TJ could do, but at least the bleeding stopped.
then another soldier ran around the corner. Rakata whipped out his Colt and put 3 rounds into his heart, dropping him.
then at least 50 soldiers surrounded them.
"drop your weapons!" one of them shouted.
"Riena. Alex. dont do anything. Rakata told them, as he put his weapons on the ground.
"lay on the ground now!" the same soldier yelled.
Rakata stood standing as Riena got down.
Rakata's eyes began to glow dangerously.
"have you ever come across a person, that you really shouldnt have messed with?" Rakata asked him, his voice as cold as Arctic wind. "thats me"
his anger mounted and it began form into a storm like the one that destroyed his room...but this one felt different. i can control it! he realized. the enemy soldiers stood rooted to the spot as the energy currents swirled around and around Rakata in a visible vortex.
he concentrated it and sent it out in a blast of pure energy, vaporizing the soldiers on the spot, but leaving Riena and Alex untouched. Rakata fell to the ground. no matter how much control i get over it, it will still weaken me to a high degree he thought to himself. a small price to pay, though, for the safety of my friends. he lay still for a bit, still breathing normal breaths, just thinking about what he had just done.

Riena cried out in pain as a hand pulled her up off of the ground by her hair. Eyes tight she tried to pry the hand out of her hair. The cloaked figure held her tightly feet dangling about an inch off of the ground. "My, my, my how you've grown you little b***h." Slinging her against the wall Riena let out a gasp as the air was knocked out of her lungs and the cloaked figure went through her pocket pulling out the picture mockingly. "What's the matter? No respect for your old man?"

Riena looked at Alex shaking her head roughly and stood coughing up some blood where she had bitten her tongue. Flipping back onto her hands, she kicked the man in the face leaving a dry ice burn and backed away looking behind her at the other two.

Alex pulled out a gun. "Fre-" Alex forze in terror as he heard the rumble of trucks and tanks coming closer.

Rakata saw the tanks and tensed up. he drew the light out og several of the lamps, converted them to enregy, and drew it into himself. he got to his feet and went for his weapons, putting them back on in a flash. then Major Verduun popped out of the hatch of the tank. Rakata breathed a sigh of relief.
"dont do that, nearly gave me a heart attack Major"
"you got your backup Sergeant." Verduun replied.
"where'd the tanks come from."
"i called in a couple of favors." Verduun replied grinning

Riena shook her head holding Alex's arm."No. Just listen; and I said no dieing on me! stare

Alex looked up at the sky. "Its a nice day..." He falled to the floor.
