Then you get teeny bopper knights who can't control their emotions due to hormonal imbalances abusing their powers across the galaxy.

K-Blade I still think that if a padawan proves herself worthy and has passed the tests to her masters satisfaction then she should be promoted to knighthood regardless of age. *facepalm* There's no age thign to begin with. Why are you constantly saying this? Age has nothing to do with knighthood, only experience. "regardless of age".... there's no age to be "regardless" of. The knights must demonstrate that they have the experience and wisdom to become knights, Which are submitted by their masters. Most took a decade or so to learn, because learning how to be courageous, be apart from flesh, learn about pain, jealousy, andwhatnot took years of expereience. THERE IS NO AGE PROBLEM TO CONTEND! In other news, Blue is republic, Red is CIS, Green is insterstellar, Yellow is Hylian, and Purple is Rimmian. By faction....

Yes, and while it's slightly exaggerated on the expanses, instead of just doing planets, it's still hard to find any connections...

Cale Darksun ElladanKenet Well, far as I know, the Rep and CIS are still officially at war I'm with nelo on there being an armistance, but ultimately its Rodyn's call. Yes, armistice. ElladanKenet The CIS is still pushing it The Rep is infighting and fragmenting, though still commited to fighting Kuat seems to be making a private bid And the other two states want to stay out of it Three factions (Interstellar Commonwealth). Nelowulf Still, the influx of padawans hasn't changed, if anything, it's lessened. There's no real need to jack up the promotion to knighthood. Particularly since they aren't fighting in any wars. I put forth the age thing since it's quite rare for any Jedi to become a Knight before their 20s.

True. 12 is padawanship, and usually a decade to train to become a knight. Anakin and Obi-wan took 12 years themselves, in which obi-wan became a master before anakin's knighthood came, a not-so-normal path. Cosnidering theyr'e the "greatest" of the jedi, i wouldn't be surprised if most padawans spent 15 years training.

One can become a padawan earlier then twelve. I’m not really wanting to play a forty year old.

Then don't take a padawan. Either that, or adopt her as your own for a short while and say her master was killed off or something in an accident involving choking on nerf steak.
Then you just got to finish off her training.

I can change my age if you want me to, I'll be closer to 22. And you've been my Master for all of my life when Obi-wan brought me to the Temple. They decided to keep my Mandalorian heritage a secret from me, so I can't quite figure out why the others treat me strangely. Just thinking out loud...

I have a question: Why wasn't I allowed to be a Clone, and someone else I saw was submitting a character bio for a Republic Commando?

Someone's obsessed with Obi-Wan *snicker*
Noone said you can't be a clone. Merely that if you were, you would be about 40 years old, and likely sitting at a desk job or working behind the lines
@ K- Correct. Also, don't forget, Anakin started his training very late. It's likely, had he been raised as a Jedi, that he would've become a Knight at a younger age, around 18 or so. 12 is merely the established maximum age for padawanship
