I found my teacher through www.witchvox.com and asking someone about information on a tradition i had not heard about in my studies and through that and other things is how i came to meet mine. however through certain signs it has become apparent to us both that our meeting was one of those knots on the rope.

You do not have to be a certain age to go on that website although there may be certain posts and areas you would not be permitted and it is not a site specifically for finding mentors. It is for networking and news along with information to new people and articles. with lists of shops by area and also Wiccan high priests and priestesses who will do handfastings.
i will warn you though that many people will not mentor in real life a person under the age of 18 because teenagers generally are not as mature and may give up and be a waste of time. i am lucky because my teacher who has taught many people before me deems me as a special case and has become my teacher despite my age (i am the first person below the age of 21 he has ever taught).
I recommend studying by yourself and talk to people through the net like this and not to go searching for a true mentor until you have reached the age of 18. this is due to the fact that it will be easier to find one then and partly to what i mentioned in my posts about predators

If you do not find specific path that fits you then stray from the trodden path and make your own. as long as your are happy in this life it doesn't really matter.
Anyone who is completely set in there beliefs is a fool. one should always evaluate your beliefs and be open for it to change, for if something ever happens to prove your beliefs wrong many years down the line everything will have been in vain.

Haha they can believe what they choose to believe. i wont judge them on it however if they try to throw it down my throat they will be leaving my presence feeling very sorry for themselves. I believe that people are entitled to free choice so long as they do not force it upon others.
If they do that then just say well how is my belief any worse then yours and leave it at that. or settle for a simple no comment when they ask.
Ps: my family is very anti christian. my grandfather whenever he would get bible bashers in his office. he would get out a glass and fill it with battery acid and then say for them to drink it since the bible says that if you truly believe god will protect you then no harm will come to them. not one of them ever drank the acid. Although if it was a muslin or someone they would probably have just suicide bombed to go get there 40 virgins in the afterlife.
PPS: the last bit in my ps was only intended as a joke.

Same beliefs here
and can i come live with you?! lol, my whole family is uber christian. that is all my aunt talks about. My mom isn't that bad. She knows that I am not christian and even though she does not aprove she doesn't force her beliefs apon me. She does ask me questions a lot about my beliefs and paganism and is becoming more open minded. But only her >.<

haha sure you can come live here if you can stand the madness. my family is literally more like several unrelated people sharing a house then a real family even though we are blood related.

I wish that i didn't live in such a dull place. Everyone around me is either christian or muslim. I have no one to learn from in person. No one who has had experience or knowledge that can be passed down to me. Its poopy xDDD

Well perhaps when your old enough you can truly move to where you wish to live. paganism and such things have less history in America since they originated in Germanic Europe and especially the U.K and so there are fewer generations of passed on knowledge. the reason you hear of more American people in it then others is just because of the sheer numbers of the American people. you could fit the whole of england into your largest state.

...Best damn mentors out there....
xd kidding...
And wow...I missed a TON of stuff. I agree, whatever this mystery subject was that caused so much controversy will be talked about amongst the crew. So much mystery around it...I wanna know what it is so I can think about something at work tomorrow. ITS GOOD TO BE HOME!
P.S. On a sad note, a much loved metaphys shop in my old hometown re-located to California. Good for them, bad for me since they were the only one within walking distance down there.
P.P.S. I went on a fun little ride while I was in Detroit...went to the top of the Ren Center (for those of you who dont know, its possibly the tallest building down there and also being seen CONSTANTLY on the news since GMs gone bust). 70 floors...and after the 20th, it went to "EZ mode" where you didnt know how fast you were going, just that you were going FAST. Best part of it was when we got all the way up, I literally felt ill (and I usually dont get that way). That night, I went home and it felt like it took forever to get my points all back in place...
