Tomoro looked up, smirking slightly. "Don't talk to me right now, vampress. I'm busy waiting for a fight. A real fight, not one conducted by simple mind usage. Ah, you would have loved my father. So much blood he shed." Hopefully, this would trigger a reaction to Alyssa, causing her to begin a fight or something. In the meantime, however, Tomoro lay back coldly, as if Alyssa wasn't even in her presence, like a piece of dust, waiting for a fight.
She had cleared her mind, and was pretty sure she was going to win. Whomever had chosen the jungle as an arena must have loved plants, or he/she was a fool to begin with. Tomoro sighed a small sigh of relief, however; at least she wasn't surrounded by fire. She would go down instantly... the only thing she had to counterract that was her mechanic skills, which she hadn't used in quite some time. She wondered what she could do in this arena.. how far the plants were willing to extend, the types of damage they could take... all of these things she took into consideration.
After all that thought, Tomoro came to forget Alyssa completely, and was back in her own world, pointing her finger and causing the grass to grow, then shoving it back down where it began; old habits were hard to forget.

Alyssa's eye twitched at the snide remarks made by Tomoro; she only giggled like a small school girl. "Oh dear little Tomoro you've once again misjudged me..I don't think you understand what I am truely capable of but alas, you wish me not to fight obviously. It's alright, I may be too skilled for you anyway. As for your father; I only wish I could've sucked the life from him as I've done with so many others." Alyssa giggled again and turned to leave. She had a feeling this would get to Tomoro like knives sticking into the flesh.
Alyssa swept her hair back behind her and threw the gun to the floor carelessly. "Guns are as fun as I thought." She spoke almost to herself, shrugging unamused. As she headed back toward the door, Alyssa slid a dagger down from a sheath hidden beneath her shirt into her hand and gripped it; making sure Tomoro was unable to see.

Tomoro gritted her teeth as she heard this... then again, she said that she would have sucked the life out of him. "Oh, how I wish you could, Alyssa.." she whispered silently to herself. Plainly, she wasn't in the mood to fight. She had lost her Grandma's herbs and her own gun, and the anger stage had already passed... only the sadness was left. Now, if someone sneak attacked her, that would be totally different. She would fight for her life in that case. However, it wasn't like anyone was going to attack some random girl under a tree...
"Oh so misjudging. 'Little?' I'm hardly little. She hasn't even seen what was in front of her. What a pity." Although speaking out loud, this was aimed in a way toward Alyssa. She had probably left anyway, out of fear, or to suck some other person's blood. Tomoro shrugged her shoulders, and stood up, brushing off her skirt, then walking over and picking up her gun. Then, with sudden precision, she darted right and left, hiding behind a tree, forming an isoceles stance. Her visible eye peeled on the target, a younger woman wandering about, she pulled the trigger, and a shot was heard throughout the arena, followed by a sudden shriek, and multiple cursings.
Tomoro heard the alarms, and saw how the paramedics had come to aid the poor victim. She was watching this the entire time, kicking her feet back and forth, sitting on a flimsy branch. She should have kept her guard up.... she's in an ARENA, for God's sake... Tomoro pushed all of her hair to her right side, and sighed lightly, wondering if Felix, Kai, or anyone else she knew was in the arena too.

Alyssa heard what Tomoro had said and smirked to herself; her burgundy lips curling into an eerie smile. If only she knew.. Alyssa thought, gripping the dagger with much more intent to use it; she had a feeling Tomoro was going to do something stupid in a moment or two. The sadness in Tomoro's heart was building; Alyssa could sense it within her.
Sure enough, the gun shot rang through Alyssa's ears as Tomoro had obviously retrieved the gun which she had thrown. Quickly, she turned around and threw the dagger that was grasped within her hand toward Tomoro; whom had her back turned.
Alyssa ran with impressive speed back into the arena and stayed where Tomoro could plainly see her; the battle had begun. She pulled her hair into a high ponytail and let the mound of hair rest upon her head; also removing her bag.

Tomoro grimaced, and turned her gaze just in time to see the gun flying at her. She knocked it flat with her gun, the sound ringing throughout the arena and put the gun away, slipping into her shirt. She jumped down, swinging from branch to branch, landing squarely on her feet, boots causing a small indent to form in the dirt. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Alyssa, and smirked, eyes peered.
With a sudden motion, Tomoro ripped off her eyepatch; elastic could be heard tearing and snapping, and she dropped it to the ground, revealing her scar. "If only you knew, Alyssa, if only you knew." She dropped her hands to her sides, left hand forming a few hand signs, and her signature thorn rose from the ground; this place had plenty of brush and plantlife, all at Tomoro's disposal. She would never run out of energy or strength, since the plants provided all of the energy she ever needed. Tomoro brought up her hair, and tied it quickly up in a tight bun, so it wouldn't get in her face. Her bangs, however, still covered her eyelids; she'd have to take care of that later.
Grinning slightly evily, Tomoro stepped into the clearing where Alyssa was found. She had been holding her dagger the entire time, and was swinging it around, glaring into Alyssa's cold eyes. "I take it this is yours?"

Alyssa blinked as Tomoro spun her dagger around like it was plastic. She giggled again like a child and peered up Tomoro as if she was going to burst out laughing. "Oh, why yes that it mine." Alyssa whispered, still giggling; this was a game to her. She took a small baby-step forward; her eyes still focused on Tomoro. When the eyepatch came off of Tomoro's face and landed gently on the earth Alyssa realized that this girl may have been through more than she had anticipated.
"I would love to know your story Tomoro; it would make my evening. As you see however I believe I am getting into a fight that probably won't end anytime soon...perhaps we can discuss your past over a cup of blood?" Alssya's flickered dangerously as she watched Tomoro with her fangs bared slightly. Alyssa hissed as if she were a cat defending her newly found kill; she wouldn't give up so easily. No matter what the circumstances were.
Quietly, Alyssa stood there waiting patiently for Tomoro to make a move. She wasn't as dumb as many thought she would be. Besides, she could always take a peek inside her mind if she felt like it. No one can keep their mind clear when it comes to fighting.

"You laugh too much, you know that?" Tomoro smiled lightly, dropping Alyssa's dagger to the floor, and stepping on it with her buckled boot. "I hope you know that I've been genetically infused with diseases, and forced to run at least 20 miles per day. I doubt someone of your stature could do that. You're looking a bit round in the middle. You're hardly a target in my one untainted eye." Tilting her head, Tomoro took a small step forward, dragging the dagger along with her, as it carved into the soft brown dirt.
Tomoro wasn't frightened by Alyssa's fangs. On the contrary, she was intrigued. She wondered how Alyssa came to be a vampress, and what she had gone through; in facct, she would have wanted to be friends with this girl; if only she hadn't jumped the gun and accused her of murdering the greenhouse. . . she probably had an interesting story about her past as well. Two girls with similar pasts duking it out... it just didn't fit. However, it was too late now; even if Tomoro didn't want to fight, Alyssa would accuse her of being weak, and attack her anyway.
Taking another step forward, large thorn in her hand and stabbing into the ground, Tomoro grazed the top of her finger on it, causing a few blood drops to fall along the sides of it, running with careful grace. "Ah, so relaxing. Look at all that blood, just flowing like a waterfall..." Tomoro brought up her finger with the new cut, and put her mouth to it, licking her finger. "Would you look at that! It tastes so good..." Hopefully, although the blood in her mouth wanted to make her gag, she would trigger something in Alyssa, and she would come at her.

Alyssa bit her lip in agony; her lust for blood was beginning to take over her common sense. However the insults Tomoro kept throwing at Alyssa kept her in check. "You know Tomoro..this is quite a silly way to get me to attack. I mean really, drinking your own blood to get me; why make yourself gag." Alyssa said, the sheepishness disappeared from her voice and her voice. She was ready to fight.
Though the blood was intoxicating her; Alyssa had a job to do. She eyed the lights above with a distant hate for the rays. "Do you like the dark..?" she asked, a creepy grin across her face. A small chuckle erupted from between her burgundy lips before she threw one of her other daggers into the main light source; knocking out most of the lighting in the room.
The lights flickered but Alyssa was nowhere to be found; it was like she disappeared. A distant laugh could be heard echoing throughout the room. "Well, Tomoro shall we begin?"

Tomoro sighed lightly; she really, really didn't want to have to do this. Getting down on her knees, she picked up two wooden sticks, and rubbed them together, faster and faster. Finally, a small flame perked up, and she held it out to her right, groaning. I... hate... fire... Tomoro then realized she could see fine in the dark, it didn't matter. Some of that poison injected into her allowed her to see in the dark for a matter of minutes; 60 minutes, one hour, to be exact. She had one hour to find Alyssa and take her down.
"Somarano Tokishe Soaniabila." Muttering one of the many chants her grandmother told her, ferns dangling loosly from the trees toppled over, slithering towards her like snakes. She whispered in what seemed to be another language, and the plants took off in the other direction; if she had muttered the correct phrase, they would seek Alyssa out and then, when spotting her, violently tear themselves apart. Of course, Tomoro would feel their vibration of death, and instantly know where Alyssa was.
Opening her eyes and gazing at the scenery around her, Tomoro took off like a ninja, jumping against a tree and swinging from it, landing squarely on her feet, back hunched over in order to increase her agility. It was amazing how someone so "delicate" could run like a savage dog, ready to attack on a whim.

Alyssa watched Tomoro as she hid within the shadows; her blood pools watched her like a cat stalking its prey. She had to strike quick; or get taken down easily. This was Tomoro's only way to beat her, if she could get hold of Alyssa then it would be twice as difficult for Alyssa to get even close to Tomoro.
She stalked her silently; the dagger from before clutched tightly in her hand. Biting her bottom lip, Alyssa chucked the dagger at Tomoro's back and darted off to the opposite side of the arena; her feet making a soft, distant echo.
Alyssa was too busy to notice the shrubbery following her; frankly she didn't care. As long as Tomoro was occupied then the shrubs would loose their ability to focus. At least, that's what Alyssa was hoping for.

Although the sharp dagger lightly sped across Tomoro's arm, she clung to it, reaching at her side; alas, her pouch full of medical herbs was back in the Greenhouse, rotting away. She cursed under her breath, and quickly traced where the dagger was thrown from. Analyzing the situation, Alyssa must have thrown the dagger, and took off towards another area. She only needed to figure out where Alyssa headed to next....
Man, I'm not even trying. I better keep my guard up better. Then, as she pulled back a strand of hair behind her ear, she heard a distant thumping on the other side of the arena. Smirking slightly, Tomoro clapped her hands together and put them on the dirt, as if she were performing alchemy.
Instead, dozens of little spikes popped up where Alyssa was running, and unless she jumped from tree to tree, they would go straight through her shoes and into her feet. Even worse, after a maximum of five minutes, they unhooked themselves from the ground and would just lay there, like little tacks. It was Alyssa's choice to whatever she did.

Alyssa shreiked when she heard the sound of some unknown substance erupting from the ground just like litte tacks. Suddenly, Alyssa realized they were indeed tacks..spikes more or less. Alyssa jumped to a halt, not before landing partially in the spikes.
Alyssa bit her lip in pain as the front part of her feet began to ooze blood; but she made no sound. SHe wouldn't give up her position anymore. Alyssa now understood this needed to become close up-front contact. Alyssa poked around in Tomoro's mind and heard about the shubbery; which was now on the fast track toward her.
"s**t.." Alyssa whispered, running back into the jungle. She would at least have cover here. After taking a deep, cleansing breath Alyssa laughed silently and began swaying her hands in a graceful dance. The dagger, which had been resting on the ground where Tomoro had left it floated lazily into the air and began flying at incredible spped toward her; under the cover of the darkness.

The dagger came rushing at Tomoro's back, and she finally felt its presence when it stabbed into her back, even through the metal armor she was wearing. She grimaced, and attempted to pull it down and out, but it wouldn't budge. "Oh, dear God." Summoning up another vine on a tree, it reached out towards her and made it's way around the end of the dagger, ripping it out of her skin suddenly, when she was least expecting it.
Taking a deep breath, Tomoro jumped up and landed behind a rock, slipping on some moss, and falling down on her back. She had let her guard down. A small moan was heard from her; she had gone through worse pain than this. Standing up and brushing her skirt off despite the fact that her armor was now covered in blood, Tomoro dropped the dagger she was holding that smashed into her, and stomped on it, then summoning a rock and smashing that damn dagger flat and into pieces. It couldn't perform any sneak attacks now.
Tomoro crossed her arms, and closed her eyes, clearing her mind, waiting for any hint of Alyssa, whether it was sight, smell, hearing, or touching. Touching, meaning her attempting to attack. Tomoro then sat down, and crossed her legs, looking at the scenery around her, as if a fight weren't occuring at all.

Alyssa smirked when she heard a crash and the moan coming from Tomoro. She knew that the dagger had hit its target almost exactly; now Tomoro was weakened and there was an easy way to finish her. All Alyssa needed was to see what Tomoro was thinking on doing next.
When Alyssa peered into her mind once more, she found that Tomoro had cleared her mind; meaning she was having to focus on that one specific task. Alyssa knew better than to attack without an idea of what was going on...maybe if she confused Tomoro...made her think she was in one place; but end up being in another. Catching her off gaurd.
While she pondered these thoughts the shrubbery from earlier snuck up to Alyssa; gripping onto her leg with a great amount of force. Startled by the plant Alyssa fell over, slamming her head on a rock. She gasped in surprise as the shrubbery began to slowly incase her body.
"Don't...panic...just..need...to get...rid..of these things..." Alyssa thought; desperately trying to keep herself calm. It was becoming difficult as the plant-life grew tighter around her chest, cutting off much of the oxygen she was in need of. Taking quick breaths, Alyssa began moving her hand around in delicate circles; her entire mind focusing on the shubbery, trying to gain control over it.

Hearing the crash, Tomoro jumped up; her plants had done the job. Dashing over to where Alyssa lay, Tomoro spotted her lacking air, and walked over to her anxiously. With a wiff of her hand, the plants around her neck loosened, allowing her to breathe, at the most; of course, she probably couldn't move any of her body parts, but Tomoro didn't really care, her back still ached.
Putting one bloody hand on her cheek, and tilting her head slightly, Tomoro smiled. "Oh, my! It seems as if my plants have caught you. I could kill you right now, you know? I'd just have to mutter the words, and BAM! You'd be squeezed so tightly your skin would tear apart. I really wouldn't want to see that, though." Her bun was beginning to fall apart, and a few strands of hair covered her eyes now. Some might have mistaken her for the angel of death, so bloody and battered, yet standing there serenely, aching in pain but showing nothing but contentment, smiling in the dark.
Swiveling her hand once more, the plants slightly untied their grip a bit, but still didn't allow Alyssa much comfort. "So... you wanna break out of those? And fight?" She said, tapping her foot impatiently.
