Suddenly, Terry noticed a light blinking on the batcomputer's console. Frowning, he walked over and brought up the screen. Immediately, a set off cool green letters informed him that he had a message. A moment later, Zatanna's voice came out over the intercom. "... So she has her on the Satellite," he said slowly. He wasn't sure if that was good or not. "Do you know anything about Gossamer?" he asked Alex, glancing back at her, "She also goes by the Mist, and I think she's one of Sapphire Spider's rogues."

Alex blinked, then walked up to the computer. "I've never heard of her." she replied. "If she is one of Sapphire's villains, then it was probably before I joined the group. She'd been a hero in another state before she came to New York."

"Hm..." It was funny; the way she'd reacted to him, it was almost as though she was used to... winning. But that couldn't have been right, not if none of the superheroes from out of state knew who she was. He knew most of Metropolis' big names; it payed to be informed.

"I know where Sapphire is...supposed to be." she said after a moment. "I don't know if she's woken up yet though. If Gossamer is one of her villains, Sapphire will probably know a lot about her."
Especially after being with Blackstone, more than likely. Actually, he'd probably be the one to know all about the woman.

One of her villains... Gossamer had been his major antagonist over the past few days, and she was just one. It would be smart to get ahead of things a bit. "Good enough. Give me a second." Walking over to his suit, he started patching it up. He wouldn't be able to fix the chameleon feature with so little time, but the strength and flight would be operational. That and he'd have something to wear that wasn't the Robin costume.

Alex nodded, then sat down in the chair in front of the computer to wait for him. The computer was even impressive. Maybe all of their stuff was just out of date.
She glanced around the room a bit more, then back over at Batman. "Need help with anything?" she offered.

Alex nodded once, then turned her attention back to looking around the room while she waited. She wasn't sure how quickly he'd be done, and she didn't really want to just nib around. She did want to, but she didn't want to get in trouble for nibbing.

A moment or two later, he was grabbing the costume and moving behind one of the pillars to get dressed. As he slipped his t-shirt off over his head, he asked, "What did you mean when you said that you knew where she was supposed to be?" That was kind of an ominous statement, now that he was thinking about it.

"She landed in another city. Whenever I finally got to her, Flash and...another girl were there with her." she replied, a bit of disdain lacing the bit about the girl. "They said that she was alright, and I left her in their care while I went back to try and help Shadow. Sapphire was out in the middle of the street, but we were afraid to move her. They may have been able to move her by now, but I haven't heard anything from them."

He poked his head out, his expression nonplussed. "She landed in another city?" And she'd left her with the FLASH? Then again, maybe Wayne's opinion of the guy wasn't the best one to go by; after all, he thought that Terry was a lazy smart-a**, too.

Alex sighed. "She was taken by another one of our villians, one that has...had a strong grudge against her. I went after them, and by the time I reached them, someone in an armored suit had joined in. They started strangling her, then shadow arrived and started tearing their armor suit apart. They got angry and tossed Sapphire hard enough that she went through the wall and flying across the city." she replied.

Terry stared at her for another second. "Uh, huh," he said finally, going back behind the pillar and continuing to dress. Wow. There were only a couple of people that he could think of that had power like that. Actually, only one. Superman. Not a very pleasant idea.

Alex turned herself back around in the chair so that her eyes were elsewhere. "Warp had made it to her before I had and apparently helped kick start her healing abilities. They said she had a broken neck and I can only imagine how many broken bones. It's hard to tell how long she'll be out." she continued.
She found herself thinking a little bit more about that other detour she had when she left. So Riku had a crush on her and was going to leave Sapphire alone? He didn't act like he liked her...not really. And she'd believe the whole 'he'll leave Misty alone' thing when she seen it.
Still...he was pretty cute. Guess maybe she had a physical type after all. Dark hair and blue eyes.
She paused, blinked a moment, then glanced briefly towards the column Batman was standing behind. She shook her head and just as quickly turned her attention back towards the room.

A moment or two later, he reappeared, fully in costume once again. Calmly, he walked over to a pair of motorcycles and started... well, it looked for all the world like he was hot-wiring one of them.
