Ellie was done with the conversation and listened to Kyo talk about Strider. "Yeah, he must be really thankful that you helped him," she said.
Karla followed Travis.

Travis stopped just inside the door to the deck. He didn't want to go out where Ellie was, since his face was still red from his talk with Isaac, and he knew she would probably give him a hard time about it.

Karla stopped behind Travis. "Something wrong?" she asked. She had been behind him, so she didn't know his face was still red.
Ellie giggled. "Yeah, maybe."

"Alright," Karla said. She opened the door and walked out. She didn't see Ellie out there in the front. Oh right. She said she was at the back. She headed over there.

Travis just opened his eyes again and walked out after Karla.
Despite what he was doing, X was still waiting to greet passengers.

Karla noticed Travis had walked out after her. She waited for him to catch up.

When Travis caught up to Karla, he grabbed her, pinned her to a nearby wall, and kissed her passionately.

Karla was at first startled when Travis suddenly pinned her to the wall, and her eyes widened when she was kissed. She was completely taken by surprise. Though she had been frightened at first, she closed her eyes and kissed Travis back just as passionately.
