The knife worked, and so did Jaclyn's elbow. Jack's yelling caught Pavel's attention, but before Pavel could react at all, he was struck violently in the head by both Lito and Jaclyn.
But he still wasn't unconcious. My gosh.
He dropped Jaclyn along with her gun, then through himself into a shaky roll - he couldn't keep this up much longer, that was for certain. They were actually starting to wear him down. He kept running as best he could, though, turning a corner before Jaclyn could get her gun trained on him or Lito could change direction enough to catch him. They'd have to come around a corner at him. Again. Dang it.

Jack stood up and chased down Pavel. He slid around the corner, not caring about any danger waiting. He wanted Pavel's guts right now.

Jaclyn scooped up her magnum, but didn't bother with the other weapons she had dropped. "F**k," she said, almost calmly. What the hell was this guy? She couldn't answer the question, so she went after Devin, somewhat slowly and very cautiously. She made sure to keep her gun up and her eyes and ears open; she wasn't falling down any more stairs if she could help it.

Lito rolled behind Devin and Jaclyn, so that he came up in a crouch with his .45 was trained at Pavel's chest level, while behind the others.
