((Hahaha, oh my. Poor Saul.))

Saul had somehow hoped it had been her on the phone as he often hoped that, indeed, she'd come back. He knew how ridiculous that was and how sad, how empty of a person that would make someone, waiting and waiting and never living, but that's what he'd become and now listening to her voice on the phone was enough to wreck him. He wasn't aware of what face he had made but Leah stood up from her chair and put a hand on his shoulder.

Maybe he was crying, or looked like he might have been ready to. He wasn't completely aware of it, of what was going on with him physically because his emotions, which had been put to so little use over the years, were there to remind him he was human again.

"Saul?" Leah was saying carefully.

He stood, phone in his ear with her still speaking and left the kitchen. Leah stared after him and gave Abel an upset glance. Her hands were clenching the ends of her sleeves and she was biting her lip. She sat down and became quiet. Somewhere in the apartment a door opened and closed.

He sat by the window of his room, his forehead resting in his open palm. He waited for her to finish, not merely because he never got the chance, but because he wasn't sure he was capable. He stared hard at his free hand dangling between his legs. It was shaking.

When she finally did finish it took him a moment to find the will to speak. He had to choke down his question to see her, please, please could he at least see her, but he held it back. Inhaling and exhaling deeply he rubbed hard at his face, rubbing from his chin to the back of his neck.

"You haven't changed a bit." He said trying to keep his voice steady, but it broke. He sighed, wincing. He felt his face ache. "This isn't fair." He said. "How can you expect me to..." He shook his head, his voice frustrated and tired. "You told me to forget about you once, if that didn't work I don't think anything will." He paused, tried to speak again, stopped.

"You shouldn't give up." He said simply. "It's the only thing... the only thing that ever made me think you really did feel something." Saul rubbed at his eyes. "If you hadn't cared... hadn't felt anything at all, why would you have run away? If that's all you've ever had... that isn't something you should let go." He laughed this time, dryly. "But maybe that's just me... I hate letting things go."

He became quiet again and waited. There was more he wanted to say, things he wished he could yell at her, but he kept them all within himself. He could have said he loved her, or that he missed her, or that he needed her, but it wouldn't have made a difference.

He had once said that it was all right if she didn't love him... now he was wondering what he had been thinking.

((hahaha, omgggg he's sooo saaaad. HE'S SUCH A SENSITIVE BOY, LILITH!))

Abel looked over when Saul stood up and left the room. Quietly, he walked over and took up the man's plate, bringing it to the sink to wash it as well. After he finished, he sat down again and rubbed his forehead. Silence filled the room and he breathed out, stretching backwards and letting his head hang over the chair. "I shouldn't have let her talk to him..." he muttered to himself and sat straight again.

His eyes moved to Leah, smiling slightly, trying to be reassuring. "Everything will be fine. It's just someone he hasn't seen for a while...so it's a bit overwhelming I think." He paused and started to stand up again. "Do you want anything else?"

As Saul finished talking, Lilith laughed slightly on the other end. "Saul. Fairness is only in fairy tales, honestly. Life isn't fair. Death isn't fair. Nothing is really fair." She smacked her lips and the sound of heels clicking on asphalt trickled through the phone. "I wish you would forget, it'd make things a hell of a lot easier. I think all this time I've just kept fighting them away is because whenever I'd think of giving up, I would think of you, and it'd just make me fight back. But now it's just getting over my head. I can only handle so much pressure."

She became quiet again and the sound of flesh against metal echoed in the air and than a kick followed after. "Damn it. You act like I'm some amazing person. Like I have some speck of emotion left in me. I really don't. I'm terrible. I've done a s**t load of things in my life that landed me where I am today. This is called punishment, Saul."

((I'm SOOO going to bed after this... I should be sleeping. Like. Fo' real.))

Leah had drawn her legs to her chest and was resting her chin on her knees, eyes down. She watched as Abel sat down and leaned back over his chair, sighing slowly. She chewed at her lips, eyebrows turned up.

"It's that girl." She said quietly. She looked up at Abel's reassuring smile and looked down again. "He never told me EXACTLY what happened, but you know, it kind of really sucks!" She declared. "It's why me and him swore of ladies..." She flushed. "Well, I mean for me obviously men... well, not OBVIOUSLY since obviously women can like women if they'd like to, though I much prefer men... but all I'm saying is, together we've decided that being with someone is too much trouble." She nodded firmly.

"Being with someone has done nothing but make people like me and Saul miserable." Leah glanced out the kitchen door after her friend. "Especially Saul. I've never met a more miserable guy in my life... I mean I'm not HAPPY about how things turned out, but..." She trailed off, blinked at Abel and then became quiet.

"Sorry." She said; embarrassed. She dropped her knees and sat in a more formal fashion, eyes again on her feet.

((hahahahaahahahah, sooo awkward.))

Saul shut his eyes at her words, grinning bitterly. "Yeah. I guess." He replied. "But I can still complain about it if I want to. Never stopped me before." He leaned his head against his window, grey eyes especially pale with the light that fell through it.

He smiled slightly. "Didn't even think you'd thought about me." He said jokingly. He even smiled just barely.

He waited and then: "I act like you're amazing because I think you're amazing. It's love, I guess. Don't... you're not terrible." He paused, rubbed at his eyes again. "Maybe only terrible because of what you do to me." He smiled. "But you always did little things..." He seemed to be searching his thoughts. "I dunno. Maybe you're right. Maybe I was just putting those things there... but you were never emotionless to me."

Saul quirked his mouth. "You thought of me." He said.

Abel's clear blue eyes were steadied on Leah. He listened to her the only way that Abel seemed possible to do. He listened like the only thing that mattered, ever, was her. Every word made sense, was understandable. He rest his arms on the table and shook his head.

"Don't apologize." He said softly before leaning forward slightly. "I know what you mean. I've never really wanted anyone else either. Maybe not in the same sense as you...I don't know what you went through...but for me, I never thought of replacing them. Once you give everything to a person, then you lose it, you have nothing left to give to another. So it's not much room for even thinking about that." He smiled, though it seemed lost on his face.

"I always do things so that I don't think about or wonder 'what if'. It doesn't do me much good. But for you, maybe you should give it another try. You've got your whole life ahead of you." He lowered his eyes again and he frowned before looking back up. "I don't know you, but I feel like I should let you know, that if you ever want or need anything, I'll do what I can. You just seem like a sincerely good person." His frown turned into a caring smile.

((He's so helpful. Gosh. What a charming young man. Hahaha.))

Lilith gave another sigh at his words. "You're pretty pathetic. If you don't stop being miserable, well I don't know what would happen, but it's pitiful." She said. There was a pause again before she spoke.

"Of course I THOUGHT of you. God. I may be emotionless, but I do have memories you know. Sometimes I wish I didn't. It'd make things easier. Sometimes while I am alone, I think about if nothing ever happened. If Abel had never come. We'd have probably never been anything more than just acquaintances. You'd still be scared shitless of Caine and of me. But you know...I think it's better that everything happened. I learned things...I guess."

"Look down." She suddenly said. On the ground below she stepped into view. Her hair was cut short, still auburn and wavy. it was clipped back away from her face. Her body was still long and slinky. She wore a black tank-top, short black skirt, and black heels. On her hands she wore long leather gloves that went to her elbows.

When she looked up, her crystal green eyes appeared see through. "I cut my hair a few weeks ago. You should have seen it...it got really long." She said with her straight, placid face. The only sign that she was talking to someone was the fact her lips were moving and a black cell phone was against one ear.

((Post before classes! Hahaha, I wonder where Cain is... *tilts head* Maybe he's terrorizing a small child... like taking his lunch money or something.))

If there was one thing Leah wasn't used to, it was being completely listened to. That threw her off slightly, made her look at Abel more closely, as if she were expecting him to laugh at her suddenly, or to tell her how ridiculous she was. She stared when nothing like any of those things happened. He responded to her helpfully, logically... as if he really cared.

At first she was so startled by the feedback it didn't seem she was even going to reply, but suddenly she looked up, her face flushed. "You're talking like you don't have that same option. You CAN'T be any older than I am. You can't tell ME to keep trying and then not do so yourself. It's impractical! HYPOCRITICAL!" She said of him. "If YOU'RE not going to keep trying than neither am I."

And then she settled back in her chair. "And I'm an independent woman now!" She nodded. "I take care of myself." She looked up at him shyly suddenly."But maybe... you could cook for me sometimes?" She smiled in return, unsure but honestly. "That would help." She fiddled with her fingers and felt vulnerable.

"You know, maybe if I ate more I'd actually get boobs or something!" Leah declared to rid herself of this feeling.

((lol. Yeah. Not ANY OLDER than you, Leah. She's so helpless. It's kinda adorable. FFFF.))

Saul laughed when she called him pathetic. "Yeah. Thanks. I really needed the reminder." He pulled at his hair and then listened as she spoke more. It made him feel light when she admitted she was glad everything had happened. This did more for him probably than she could ever know.

"I'm glad he came too." He admitted. Of course he was glad he came merely just because Abel was Abel, but there was also Lilith. He'd never associated Abel with having being able to speak with her, but now he realized, in a way, that might have been the greatest thing Abel had done for him.

The young man jumped a little at her next remark. Removing his face from the window he focused his pale eyes downward. Seeing her brought a full on smile to his face. It almost made him a different person, made him look younger. He rested his fingers on the glass.

"I hate it." He said, still smiling. Truth was he couldn't care less, truth was he thought she would always look good. He was quiet, wondering if maybe this was the last time he'd see her.

"Where's Cain?" He wanted to know.

And it was in this moment there came a loud knock at Saul's front door.

((I FOUND HIM.))
PostPosted: Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:47 am

((Hahaha. Yeah Leah, he's not older than you...AT ALL. :] ))

Abel watched her with confused eyes as she told him he was hypocritical and that she'd not take his advice. He leaned back a little and blinked. After she had finished, his face screwed up. Slowly he turned his body and snorted with laughter. He started to laugh, holding his sides and squeezing his eyes closed. It was a laugh that wasn't too loud, but it was honest and somewhat contagious.

He sat up, trying to hold it back, a hand rubbing away tears from his eyes. He didn't know why he had found this woman so funny. But something about the way she said certain things and the words that came from her mouth, it made him happy. When he finally felt he could talk without bursting into laughter again he took a deep breath and let it out.

"I'm sorry about that. I...I don't know what came over me-" He put a hand to his mouth, laughter bubbling up again. "You're right...I am a hypocrite. But I would really love to cook for you more often." He said from behind his hand. He felt like laughing again but the knock at the door stopped him.

Turning his head he stared at the doorway, a feeling of dread settling in his stomach. "I'll get it." He suddenly said, standing up and moving to the door. He looked through the peephole and what he saw made him take a long step backwards and put his hand out as if someone was behind him and he was making them stay.

((Lalala. Haha getting defensive.))

Lilith fluffed her hair and looked directly at him. "I can't please everybody. As long as it looks good to me, I don't give a s**t what YOU think." She said, knowing full well he was joking. When he mentioned Cain she shrugged.

"I'm not his mother, I don't keep watch on him all the time. He's probably off beating up little kids or something else equally pathetic and demoralizing for him even if he doesn't know it is." She paused when she heard a knock from the phone and her eyes narrowed. "Or he could be at your door, angry, and ready to beat YOU up instead. Don't answer it." Was her response before she shut the phone and disappeared from view of the window.

((Just tell him no one is home, then maybe he'll leave.))

((Hahaha, What a conversation that would be.

Them: Yeah. Uh. Cain?

Cain: Yeah?

Them: No one is home.

Cain:...

Hhahaha.))

Leah seemed surprised at his laughter. She sat back in her chair a little, face a hilarious picture of shock. She wasn't sure if she was meant to be offended by this, or maybe she should be hurt or uncomfortable, but the way he was laughing was so kind and honest that she picked up on it. She started slowly at first, but then seeing him trying to hide it made her laugh all the more loudly. She put her hands over her mouth.

"You're CRAZY!" She said of him, her face alight with her smile. "I oughta HIT you for laughing at me!" She sat up in her chair pretending to look indignant. "Laughing at ME of all people!" She pretended to frown at him.

"You'd better be sorry!" She scolded and then she flushed happily at his agreement to cook for her. "All right." She said. "Deal." She jerked her head up when there came a knock on the door.

"Who would-" She started, and watched Abel go to the door. Leah had turned in her chair to see him better, brow furrowed. She stood slowly from her chair at his reaction. "Who is it?"

Saul smiled at her words and shook his head at her. "Good." He said.

At her words about Cain he frowned to himself thoughtfully, but stood slowly from his seat at the sound of the knock on the door. At her words he closed his own phone and made his way back to his front door where he found Abel standing. Leah was still at the kitchen table looking concerned.

"Being here isn't usually this exciting." She said anxiously.

Saul moved towards the door and peered out himself. Cain was standing there, arms at his sides. He was staring directly at him, almost as if he could see him through the peephole, even though Saul knew that was impossible.

"Hey Saul." He said.

Saul pushed himself away from the door.

"I just want to talk to Abel." He called. His voice was calm, non-threatening. "That's it. Just let me talk to him. I can't make trouble. Think about it... I'm already in for it as it is."

And Saul knew he was right. He looked back at Abel. "You don't have to."

((hahaha, WHATCHU WANT, CAIN? WHAAATCHUUU WANT?))
PostPosted: Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:45 pm

((Yeah. Then he'd leave. Cause Abel never lies. So what he says MUST be truth! He's an ANGEL after all!!!))

Abel looked over his shoulder when Saul came over. He furrowed his brows when the man looked out to see who it was. "It's Cain..." He said in a dark tone. His eyes seemed shadowed as he watched Saul push away from the door.

At Cain's words Abel looked back to the door. He looked seriously in thought, staring at the door as if he could see the man behind it through the wood. He put a hand to his face and closed his eyes, suddenly looking much older. After a moment of silence he moved to the door, shaking his head.

"It's okay. I'll keep him in the hall though. So you don't have to worry. Maybe you should just stay in here." He smiled slightly before opening the door. He stood still in the doorway, hand holding the door. His blue eyes studied Cain with a curious expression. He didn't smile at him. He didn't remember a time he ever smiled at this person.

"Is something wrong?" He realized how obvious his question was and he shook his head. "We can talk out in the hall." He began, stepping out and starting to close the door behind him.

((Hahaha, so true.))

Saul seemed like he might be ready to stop Abel form going out the door, but the expression on his face made him hold his tongue. He stepped back instead and looked back at Leah who was still standing, one hand to the back of her chair. Slowly she sat back down and Saul waited by the door, arms crossed over his chest. If something went wrong he wasn't sure he could do much, but he'd sure as hell try anything he could.

Cain backed up when Abel walked out, maybe to convince him further he was only there to talk. He was eyeing him carefully, pale eyes sharp and as calculating. His whole body language had always been predatory, however his arms were by his side, palms out in a yielding gesture. If anything, he seemed almost wary of Abel, or perhaps something else.

"Long time no see, angel." He said in a low voice. He grinned briefly at his previous question and shook his head. "I know we don't have a good history. I can't blame you if you don't even want to look at me." He shrugged, looking uncomfortable.

"Once I did something to you... and it did something to me." He looked away. "I've never felt remorse for my actions. I've always been too..." His face contorted, more like his usual self, but it vanished from his face quickly as it came. "Angry." He managed to look Abel directly in the eyes.

"I don't know why I feel the need to..." He furrowed his brow, the usually dangerous demon looking awkward and out of his element. "I'm sorry." He said after a long drawn out moment and then: "If you can help Lilith I want you to help her. People like me DESERVE what they get. I need to be put away. I NEVER stop feeling this way, but Lilith doesn't need this. She's better than this."

((CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. CHECK OUT THAT ACTION!!!))
PostPosted: Tue Nov 10, 2009 4:50 pm

Abel had closed the door and stood still. He wasn't sure what he should have been feeling, but his stomach and chest were burning with anger. It was hard to look at Cain and not feel your insides boil. His anger was justifiable in most people's eyes. Cain had beaten him down to the point he lost it. He had nearly lost himself from that experience. He could still remember the pain he had felt when it happened. It seemed like that had been the start of the decay he was going through presently.

Nonetheless, he remained calm, listening to him as he would listen to anyone else. He had always given people the benefit of the doubt, but he was having trouble doing it this time. He felt his anger towards everything, focused on the man in front of him. Anyone could see the heat in his usually calm blue eyes.

As Cain finished, Abel was still quiet. He stared at him. It seemed like forever before he opened his mouth. At first it looked like he was about to yell, but his voice was strangely reserved, as normal as it ever was. "I'm trying to do the right thing." He said, unfolding his arms and sticking his hands into his pockets. "I know it's the right thing to forgive you, to just put everything you did to me and my friends behind us. But it's really hard. And I don't think I ever will forget what you did. But I can do my best to forgive you." He looked away and to the side.

"I don't know what I am supposed to do." He said, breathing out deeply. "I've tried to figure out so many ways to help everyone, Lilith included. And maybe even I thought of ways to help you a few times. I don't know why, but I did. Kill with kindness I guess. And I've come up with nothing. I'm kind of lost is the thing. I'm trying to find other people's paths, not my own, and I'm starting to realize that's the wrong thing to do." He paused and looked back at the demon, smiling weakly.

"But I'm trying...trying to help everyone...even still. I figure maybe if I do that, I'll find my own path through everyone else." His eyes turned down the hall. His smiled turned a bit stronger when he saw Lilith standing there, listening to everything.

((Hahaha, that's right, Abel. BE THE BIGGER PEROSN. THE BIGGER

PERSSSSOOOOON.))

Cain was not sure how long he would have to wait, or how Abel would respond, but he did something he was not very good at all and that was being patient. He seemed tense enough to almost start to pace, or harassed enough to speak again in a far less reserved manner, but then Abel finally replied. Cain sighed with maybe relief, he wasn't sure himself.

"There's no REASON to help me if even you can't find it in yourself to forgive me. I don't blame you. I wouldn't forgive me either." He laughed bitterly, but it came out funny, choked. Cain wouldn't understand it then maybe never, but considering Abel had maybe thought to help him, touched him. His eyes burned and he didn't understand why, merely wiped at them to remove the sensation.

"I don't have any right to ask your favors. I don't have any right to ask ANYONE favors, much less someone like you... I can't help what I am anymore than you can help what YOU are, Abel." Cain said, and he glanced at his sister, knowing somehow she'd be there. "But you've got to help her. I'll do whatever. Just..." He moved forward but backed off. He rubbed at his arms and managed to make eye contact again.

"Please."

He looked to his sister with the expression of a brother trying to take care of their sister. "You know as well as I know... this is not what was meant for you."
PostPosted: Tue Nov 10, 2009 7:26 pm

When Cain moved towards him, Abel surprisingly didn't flinch or step back, he merely stayed where he was and watched. Something inside him wanted to let Cain ask some more, say 'please' a couple more time, give him more reason why he was to help his sister. Something inside him wanted it, but he refused to give in. He knew all the reasons Cain could give, hearing them from his mouth wasn't needed.

"I do forgive you though. That's the thing. I forgive you. Maybe more for my sake than anything." He said patiently and looked thoughtful. "I'll help. I want to help. You never had to ask me."

Lilith started walking towards them, scratching her head, face empty. "How touching." She muttered and stepped up next to Cain. She looked at her brother. "You never figured it out, did you?" She asked him, her voice icy, but there was some sort of gentleness within. "I didn't begin all of this, running away, fighting them off, whatever, for just myself." Her green eyes moved away towards Abel.

"I left for both of us. I was never going to get any help really. I wanted to get it on my own, someway out for us. But since Cain asked, and you agreed, I may as well accept it too. But..." She punched Cain in the shoulder, rougher than expected. "You gotta help him too. I don't think I could handle all this joy and glee and happiness you and your group seems to always dish out, without someone to balance it out with rudeness, anger, and bitterness." She was obviously talking about Cain, in her sarcastic undertone.

Abel laughed slightly and nodded. "I wouldn't think of it any other way, now that you say it like that. Anyways, I-" he stopped when suddenly Lilith was against him, arms around him. The cold touch made his insides clench and a breath escape him like he had the air knocked out of him. "Oh..." He smiled nervously as she removed herself, looking as normal as ever.

"By the way. I know I told Saul I wasn't going to see him. But now that I am up here, and this jerk beside me is growing a soft spot...I may as well see him. I mean...it seems a waste to come up here and just leave." Her eyes glanced to the door.

Abel followed her glance and blinked. "Oh...right..." He was still trying to gather his senses. Cain was being tame and Lilith had just...hugged him, it was all a little unusual. "I guess. Be prepared though...he may hug you so hard your ribs might break." He laughed again and opened the door.

((OH MY. HOW TOUCHING THIS ALL IS! Hahaha, and people are over and I keep getting distracted... Also, I have no classes tomorrow and I feel as though all I'm going to do is work on homework D: ))

"Tch!" Cain said of Abel's forgiveness and now truly couldn't make eye contact. He shoved his hands in his pockets, unable to know exactly what to say to something like that. He remained silent instead, unable to cope with the situation.

When his sister came by his side he seemed slightly more comfortable, sure she would know what was most appropriate way to respond, wanting to know what she thought and if she disagreed he'd MAKE her agree to it, as was his nature as crude and primitive as it was, it was all he knew. He seemed distantly stunned at her words. He shifted, uncomfortable again and then gave a somewhat would be fearsome smile at her blow to his shoulder.

This made more sense to him.

He knocked her with one of his arms to show his affection, nothing more. He made a strange expression at Lilith's embrace. Though, at the angel's expression he gave a laugh, though it was less cruel than his usual laughs though just as rough.

When Abel opened the door Saul was standing just in front of it, as if he had been waiting just for that moment. Catching sight of Lilith so close made him oddly quiet and blank. He cast his eyes briefly on Cain whom shrugged and scratched at his hair. They exchanged a nod, maybe of understanding or maybe of just acknowledgment and then Saul moved forward, though he seemed unsure of what to do with his hands, and seemingly had forgotten how to walk.

It was hard seeing someone he'd not seen in so many years and had spent so much time thinking about and then suddenly they were there. He slowly smiled, a smile only Lilith could probably bring to his face, but then moving quicker probably than he had in years, because grief makes people slow, he filled his arms with her, holding her tightly.

((hahahaa, he's suuuuch a puppy. Huuuuugs make hiiim haaaappyyy!))
PostPosted: Tue Nov 10, 2009 9:59 pm

((Hahaha Cain is like a daddy. Giving Saul permission to have his daughter. Lilith don't need no permission, she's a GROWN a** WOMAN.))

Abel moved aside when Saul started out the door. He rubbed one of his arms, looking inside at Leah and smiled a bit at her. "Everything okay in there?" He asked her, starting to move inside, past the two reuniting in the doorway.

Lilith's eyes watched Saul without a hint of shock or surprise, merely watching him. She tried to smile but it ended up looking somewhat like a grimace, which she quickly dropped, knowing she wasn't about to fool anyone. "Evening. I figured I'd drop by, since fluffy over here wanted to come by." She motioned to Cain.

Her nostrils flared slightly when she saw the two men nod at each other. It looked as if she were supposed to laugh, but it wasn't happening. Instead she raised a brow at them and tilted her head up. "Huh. Acting all manly or something. That's unusual. Menly men..." She snorted but before she could make any more snarky comments Saul had his arms wrapped around her in an instant.

"Oh God." She groaned from against his chest. Her face was pressed against him. She felt his warmth against her skin. Normally she only felt warm around Cain, but she had started to forget that Saul was able to do that to her too. She closed her eyes, hands moving to his back. If she could have stayed there forever, she wouldn't have minded. It allowed her to forget the cold numbness that she always felt.

"I think your smearing my makeup. But it's okay, I guess...I'll let you have your fun." She murmured some more. The heat from her skin was slowly settling into her body, building up a little warmth in her chest and stomach. It was the best feeling she could possibly remember. "Just don't cry. I'll let you be as touchy feely on me...but if you cry, I'm kicking you in the face."

((Hahaha awww she's so sensitive.))

((Hahaha, I was right. All I did today was do homework and go running... I'm suuuuch a paaaarty animal. FFF. And LOL. Cain is just soooo maaaanly.))

Leah had been looking out into the hall with wide eyes. She smiled when Abel turned to her and then she laughed. "I'm so lost." She admitted, but seemed pleased for Saul. "I feel as if I've missed some things." She looked to Cain briefly and his gaze was enough to make her turn around in her chair and stare anywhere else.

Saul laughed a little at Lilith's remark from against his chest. He rested his own on the top of hers his smile so broad and peaceful it made Cain pull a face and make his way inside. He sat down at the table and started eating off the remainder of Saul's plate.

Leah looked at him, startled and looked back at Abel, her face shocked.

Saul didn't seem to mind that Cain had to leave, and probably would have been proud of it if he had noticed at all. Despite Lilith's nature he never did feel how cold she truly was and having her there again to hold, even if he had been able to feel it to its true extent, he probably wouldn't have minded it anyway.

He grinned at her remark about her make-up and pulled away slightly. Saul didn't think it was possible for him to cry with her remarks and instead grabbed her under her chin and kissed her once before letting her go. He pulled away very slowly however, holding her hands before breaking contact.

"I'm so glad you put up with me." Saul said quietly, smiling.

((ahahaha, b'aaaaw. He's so happy he cant' STAAAND IT.))
