"Cause I doubt highly that he feels that way about me. For pete's sake our first real conversation was us beating the tar out of each other. And he just....something tells me that even though he says he's bi, that he just might not be." Eion answered a hint of saddness slipping into his eyes.

"I don't think he would either but...part of me wonders if I'm just being to hopeful and I misheard him, you know? 'Sides I think I might of upset him earlier." Eion went on moving over to plop down on a swing.

"Well he and I were playing....actually more like he was showing off I was watching. And he got this huge crowd practially throwing themselves at him and when we sat down I told him if he wanted to stay with his groupies he could. He said no none of them are his type. I asked him if they weren't who was, after all almost every straight guy I had ever met would've killed for that. He thought I was hitting on him. I wouldn't have even dreamed of doing it before I knew he was bi, and even now I don't want to. If I can keep him as a friend at least I'll live." Eion explained with a sigh.

"Bye!" Eion called after before sighing heavily leaning back a little, the swing moving lightly under him. He heard footsteps in the gravel ahead of him a looked up, a glare sliding easily onto his face. "What the hell are you doing here?" He half growled. "It's a public park, Eion. There's no sign saying I'm not allowed in." Came a cool voice that sound just a bit older than Eion. "There should be." The other laughed. "We need to talk."
Next day~
The bell clanged loudly and Kate's eyes darted around nervously. Where was Eion? He was usually here by now. Did he ditch again? Looking around she spotted Shen and ran over to him. "Um...Excuse me? You're Eion's friend right?" She asked a little nervous of the tall senior.

"Well he's late, and he's not answering his phone so..." Kate went on. "Ignore the freshman she's a spaze and if I'm not here at exactly when I normally am." Eion said appearing being Kate. "Eion your-oh my god! What happened?" Kate exclaimed her happy smile vanishing when she saw Eion. Both of his hands were bandaged, multiply sticky band-aides dotted his arms and neck all of different sizes. One was streached over the bridge of his nose, another along his cheek and one eye was a deep black and his bottom lip had a large spilt in it. "Something wrong?" Eion asked innocently smiling at her. "What-? "I fell now come on we'll be late. Hey Shen." Eion said smiling at him a little before turning and heading towards the door with a slight limp.

Eion was stopped by a firm hand,"There is no way in hell you got that from falling, what happened Eion? Who hurt you, if anyone knows fight wounds I would" he said looking him over, holding both shoulders."You shouldn't be here today, you should be home resting, here I'll get a leave of absense and take you home" Shen said turning to the teacher who was way ahead of him."and any retaliation will result in me carrying you" Shen said with a smile, pulling Eions arm over his shoulder,"Dont worry Kate, I'll take care of him"he said as he began to walk. After a good distance away he turned his head to Eion,"Alright spill who is he and where does he live because so help me god Im gonna kick his a**!" Shen said in an angry tone."Anyone who hurts my friends does NOT get away with it!!"
