Nathan sighed, let the fireball dissipate, then recharged the sticker. When he came back, he decided to continue his former efforts. The bigger he could get, without overpowering, the better he could incapacitate a foe without killing him. Such an ability was badly needed.
Again the fireball reached out, this time two feet forward; again there was a flash, but this time the fireball did not lose as much size. Nathan had managed already to identify why he had been wasting power and how to avoid it. With a grin, he began releasing another smokescreen, just for the heck of it.

The Guardian chuckled at Blaine as the light broke around his skin without sinking in. "I see what you're trying to do. It's gonna be a bit before you can do something like that."

((Wait, it's that late already?
I think we may need some universal time measurement to help us keep track, because the hour of training for the Guardians hasn't passed yet.
I may integrate such a system into RotC whenever the group splits up again, considering what happened last time, actually.))

((I think since kkid isn't really even here, perhaps the Stark-arc (haha. Ha. Ha) should go on hold until the Guardians catch up? A day's worth of incongruousness might bring difficulties.))

Blaine moaned as the light dissipated when it didn't sink in. He sighed and shrugged, pulling out his light 2 mysticker. He stuck it on the opposite hand and went to activate it, but stopped just short of doing so, Wait...this throws off UV light and I'd prefer to keep my eyesight... he concluded in his head. He turned to the Guardian, "Hey, do you have a pair of sunglasses I can borrow?" he asked.

((Hmm. Very well, if you don't mind waiting. I just wanted to keep it moving for everybody.))
The Guardian rapped a knuckle on the wall behind her without looking. A small slot popped open and a sleek pair of sunglasses fell into her waiting hand. She flicked it casually at Blaine.

Now Nathan was getting ambitious. Again recharging the fireball, he stretched the tendrils out, six feet, eight feet - the ball wasn't holding together very well, he had to make his move now - flash - and it was gone, leaving only a large puff of smoke in a triangular shape in front of him. It had all happened in under a second; the process had to be thrown out or it would collapse too fast. A stronger Mysticker, perhaps, would allow Nathan to wait, to aim more carefully, but for the moment he was assaulting fast and hard.

Blaine grinned and caught the sunglasses and placed them in front of his eyes after a quick inspection, "Thanks." he said, activating the Light 2 Mysticker. An orb of light appeared above his hand, it was brighter and more intense than the light 1.

The Guardian glanced at her watch. "All right, that'll do for today. Dinner's in an hour." With that, she turned and left the room.

Nathan raised a curious eyebrow. It had felt like a short amount of time, but it seemed like he'd accomplished something significant. From accidentally lighting things on fire to successfully making smokescreens and flash fires; that was progress.
What he needed to make progress in now, then, was homework, sadly enough. He had hoped to socialize more, but...
Well, perhaps it could wait. He stopped himself from thinking twice about this statement, because he would regret making it if he thought about it anymore and would immediately ditch whatever he was doing to go get back to the programming.
In the meantime, he recharged his Mysticker one more time before making for the exit, pausing to see if Blaine or Anna were coming.
