Quannah nodded standing up to start the large clean up process. "Once i freshen up, I'll be attending, if anything to give my congradulations to the happy couple."
Arcadia shook his head; "I'll pass, but pass along my wishes to the new couple."
SalSoon just smiled calmly; "Master Kaos, it's hard for me to fathom the very thought of such a highly educated and powerful man being reduced to such a condition. However;" SalSoon reached into her robe and out came a large flask. "This should help, helps me when i'm on the friz, and don't ask what's in it cause I won't tell you."

Kaos took the cup and sniffed it. After a moment of pondering it's contents he walked to his cupboard and stuck a cinnamon stick in it, "Thanks dear, but i believe i don't think this is the kind of illness that can be fixed... if it is what i think it is..." he stirred the liquid for a few minutes then took a sip.

"She was hoping on the aspect to fool your mind into thinking the contents would medicinally stop your ailment. It would be no different then if you were to run out of a special herb to cure a disease and you served a subsitute in its place. Some patients show improvement despite the subsitute having no real value in curing their disease. In all reality its a mental trick you blindly blelive in the end, but as SalSoon put it your very highly educated and such tricks for a man of your skill hardly go un-noticed."
Vermillion came the rest of the way into the room, and turning on his heel Vermillion half bowed toward Chrono. "Pleasant greetings my lordship." Vermillion stood up straight turning to Kaos; "My daughter wishes to express her thanks for being a rather nice host and apologizes for the mistaken identiy earlier." Vermillion turned back to Chrono; "Lena has returned to the land of the living, and also thanks the abyss family for being gracious hosts in allowing her to see the small miracles this realm has to offer."
SalSoon was sort of quiet having her trick exposed, and Quannah was merely watching Vermillion and Chrono.
Vermillion bowed again; "I apologize for interupting." Arcadia smiled; "Its alright Vermillion, I didn't mind, were done here, and lord Chrono and master Kaos are about ready to go somewhere. If your waited any longer you might not have got to say what you wanted to until the reception later."

wahmbulance  wahmbulance Kaos sighed, "I didn't mean to blow up in your daughters face... but for years i've been told how i look like my father, and he always used to taunt me with the fact that i'll end up just like him... so tell her i'm sorry... And i have a huge favor to ask of you." Kaos set his cinnamon juice down and walked over to Vermillion, "With this man's permission i would like to send you to where Sorrow is... Which is at your wife's house... Anywho, I need you to observe her behavior, because if this illness means what i think it does... Make sure she doesn't duel herself in the mornings. make sure she doesn't work out, and make sure she eats good hearty meals with the appropriate proportions of healthy foods." Kaos began pacing, then took out a box from his cupboard, "This is a very special tea I made when Ive was pregnant with Ailes. I want you to make sure she drinks two cups of this a day, and i'll take your place after Akuma's wedding." Chrono watched Kaos pace around and rub his chin. after a few minutes he finally figured out what was going on in his head, "You got her... Good god Kaos... Are you just fertile at the wrong times... First your sterile, then you suddenly get people pregnant." Kaos paled, "Lets just hope that's not the case, or she's ready for it." He looked over at Chrono who was looking back at him as though he were his son who had just done something very stupid, "Try not to tell Akuma yet, I'll do it after the wedding. IF it is what i think it is." Chrono ran his hands through his hair, "Has your "Mysterious Illness" ever let you down? and usually you're right so i don't see you should try to doubt yourself now." he walked out the door, "I'm going to be getting her ready... unless you'd like to."

Hmmm, I'd just need to mention it to the right people and she would be hounded to make sure she eats right, so the only thing I would need to do is observe, and keep her from working out. However, you do know she won't be thrilled to hear such things, but then again I'm making plans before permission Kaos.
Vermillion took the box of tea and stepping aside made a sweeping motion for the door with his free hand. "Will the proud father please not anger the Lord of these lands by being late to his own daughters wedding. Lord Chrono's temper is famous even in the depths of aslyum, and one glare given to me is all I need to see in my eternal existence here to know what words spoken in the dark hallways there are true."

Vermillion made sure he had everything before he left the little building he managed to erect on his spread of ground. He had come back for a change of clothing and his ring which he had to dig up. He took off from there and headed for the Manor, and he knocked twice and waited a minute before entering. He stood just inside the door after he closed it and took a deep breath before finding a seat at the bar. He was asked to help Kaos, but unsure of how he was getting there. So this was the logical place to wait for an answer.

wahmbulance wahmbulance Tsume came down dressed in dress pants, a white button up satin shirt, and a black leather vest. he looked at Vermillion and walked behind the bar to pour him a drink. Anabel came down after Tsume and smiled, "Oh! Vermillion, What brings you here?"

vermillion smiled; "A favor asked of me by master Kaos, but your looking rather radiant Anabel." Vermillion looked up at Tsume and just nodded his head respectfully before turning back to catch Anabel's response.

"To observe and verify a change in Arynia, that is very important to master Kaos, and report back to him with my conclusions of the situation." Vermillion's smile dimmed a bit, but it brightened back up as he watched Anabel sit on the bar near him. "You may lack size to Tsume, Anabel, but your radiance can equal the impression he leaves in people."

Anabel stared at Vermillion with her mouth slightly gaped open. Tsume stopped pouring the drink he made Vermillion and gave Anabel a confused look. Her lower lip began to quiver as it curled under her upper row of teeth, and her wide eyes were blurred with tears as she began quivering. "you think m-my radiance is equal to a massive terrifying man who strikes fear an the people who pass him?!?" she squeaked in a high pitched devastated voice. Tsume rolled his eyes and passed Vermillion his drink.

Vermillion took a long sip looking up at Tsume and then back at Anabel; "I do think its equal, BUT in the sense that when you walk by you don't strike fear in people."

Anabel fluttered her wings and rose off the bar. she took one last teary look at Vermillion before jetting up the stairs. Tsume chuckled to himself and shook his head, while cleaning a few of Chrono's glasses and hanging them up.

"I think i'm better off adopting a policy such are yours Tsume. Then perhaps i wouldn't say stupid things or be misinterpreted by others."
Vermillion propped his head on the palm of his hand while staring at the wine glass in his right hand. He swriled it now and then, but just waited thinking of home and the impending thought of going back after so many years having gone by.
