The man turned around slowly as he felt the young woman tap upon him. He raised an eyebrow in slight confusion as he looked upon her.
"What services do you offer?"
He folded his arms across his chest, waiting to hear what she would say.

The man thought for a moment or two before answering.
"I require a crew. I can provide the greatest ship in the world, but I need a group of experienced people to help me."
He knelt down to get to her eye level.
"Can you do that?"

My-sis is captain, but I can ask her to merge ships or somthing-She's also cook, and we've got a firstrate mechanic"

The man did not have to think very hard when such a proposition presented itself. It would be most advantageous to acquire a cook and a mechanic. However, their ship, no matter how well-built or fast, would be unnecessary. He hesitated to tell her the truth, but managed to work up enough courage to do so.
"Do you believe in... magic?"
The man expected the worst, but he was dealing with a child. He at least had a chance.

Pheonix nodded slightly "Ember says it's the magic in our herts that kepps the world spinning" She smiled.
Ember regained concusness and strugled to her feet, she looked around and saw Pheonix talking to the large scary man that had saved her. She walked over and ruffled Pheonix's hair, but didn't say anything

The man smiled weakly. He really was dealing with a child.
"What if I told you that I had the legendary Crimson Tide, the greatest ship ever known to man?"
He himself was getting rather excited. Obtaining that ship was no simple task and it served him well ever since.

The man stood up suddenly and took a few steps back.
"Who? Who would I have to be?"
This whole situation could now prove to be dangerous, especially if his enemies were watching.

"Black beard was the last one seen with it" She said slowly-blackbeard having died years ago-as she knew, she relized there was a strange danger to his name

The man simply laughed.
"Me? Blackbeard? That's a good one!"
He chuckled a little more before finally calming himself.
"No, ol' Blackbeard bit the dust a long time ago. True, he was the last one seen with it, but I'm the current keeper."
He stepped closer to them and whispered so only they could hear him.
"I'm 'Lawless' Lawrence Barberoi."

Pheonix seamed to have no cclue as to what was going on so she let her Captian/sister battle it out

Lawrence was becoming more interested. This one seemed to know quite a lot.
"So, you've heard of my exploits, hm?"
He raised an eyebrow and thought for a brief moment.
"Which of my adventures is your favorite? The Ruby Ship? The Water Stone? The Wind Flute? The list goes on, lassie."

"Wind flute's my favorite-She likes the water stone as a bedtime story." Pheonix's eyes widend as she relized whom they were in front of.
"Is-he?" Ember nodded and straitened
"However gratefull we are for you saveing my life-I have to be the captain of my ship until I can find a special person

((Totally stolen from PotC, but oh so worth it.))
Lawrence removed a small box from his coat and held it out to Ember. He opened it, revealing a compass. It appeared old and of simple craftsmanship. However, it did not point North.
"You know what this is, lassie?"
He moved the compass around mystically, as if to show it off.
"Who might you be lookin' for, hm?"
