Kara squeaked a laugh and played with Rin. "She will be deadly then. Your mate was here but had to leave for a while, she didn't say where she was going. I'm going to go down and check on some things, can you watch her for me?"

Issac tried asking a few people where to find phantom but most of them ran away or brushed him off. He even tried being nice to a child but as soon as he approached him the kid started to cry which made Issac look at the sky and say in his dark german accent."I can't win can I."

he stilled and looked to the side. " a wolf is comeing." carfuly he put Kara on Phantoms lap and stood, just in case. the war had made times bad, otherwise he would never had acted like this to another wolf. he whistled softly to see if the other wolf could here him as he steped out the door. he had to protect Phantom and Kara, but he was curiuse about the other wolf. he stood on the stairs to the building, leaning against a pillar as he waited.

"It has to be Issac, He is fine, not a friend but he isn't bad." Phantom handed Kara to Rin and went down the stairs. "What do you want Issac?" Phantom was kind, but wanted to know why he was in her building.

Finally, a face he remembered, and at least this way he would be seen as another person. He didn't see Phantom otherwise he would have spoken to her. Issac walked up to Rin and although he didn't mean to, stood in an intimidating position over him, he was almost seven feet tall even as a human."I must speak with Phantom on behaf of my master, Sergei Latverious, we need to know if our portal is in danger. He would have come himself but he is in France investigating personal concerns."

he didnt even blink, just remaind relaxed as the wolf Issac came up to him. he lifted a shoulder to indicate Phantom as he took Kara, cuddleing her so she was distracted. he looked back to Issac and held out a hand. " names Rin." he murmerd more to himself than to the others. "Sergei's good hu.. Bains probibly jumping for joy. poor wolf made herself sick over what she might have to do if he were otherwise." he went back to playing with Kara.

Issac thought for a moment and realized he needed to shake Rin's hand which he did rigidly. He then spoke again, first to Rin and then to Phantom."My name is Issac Von Kraus, some of your kin know me as the fur traitor because of my alliance with the latverious family half way through the wars a thousand years ago. What I mean by portal is the gateway between my master's realm and this one. Edward left in a rage and we have been positioning guards near it for quite some time, is he still bent on destroying it, because we need the men in France."

he couldnt help snickering at that. " just put Bain to gaurd it. she hate's the Edward guy. i think she would keep him away one way or another." he looked at Phantom and quickly straitend his face, coughing innocently before he turned back to Issac. " i dont give a damn what others call you. Vampires are not all bad, and i protected a few back then as well."

"If I know my brother he is still wanting to. I haven't seen him in a few days and I rarely talk to him anymore." Phantom sat down on the stairs and looked up at Issac. "I would at least keep a few guards, but not many, two should be fine, and I will watch my brother carefully. If something happens I will find a way to get to you guys." Kara was still afraid but started to get calm and started to play with Rin again a little.

Issac couldn't help but be skeptical at Rin's statement. He must have hit the end of the wars, this was a younger Lycan."I doubt you experience much of those days, or you would know the Latverious clan much better, not to mention you would still wear your Roman armor, none of us that were born during the that time took our armor off, Ceaser or not we kept it as a sign of power and honor, when it meant something. But thank you Phantom, your trust is valued among our clan."

"Trust and kindness is what I can give to other people. I will take that as a complament. Bain can at least help out with the guard stuff, she would like to tear Brother into tiny bits and right now I think I will let her. Is that all Issac?" Phantom had a kind smile on her face. Kara was now playing and forgot all about the other man, even when he spoke.

((Rin, just to tell you, Issac is 1956 and Rin is 22, the wars happened a long time ago, in the Roman era and are still raging in different parts of the world but back then vampires wouldn't want Lycan body guards.))
Issac bowed and spoke in his usual dark German accent."If there is anything needed of me I would gladly be of service, but if I am not required or wanted then I will leave, I believe I have frightened enough children for one day any how."That was Issac's bad attempt at a joke but he did not laugh, he rarely did.

he was amused, but odly he respected the wolf. he noded at Issac and started to move Kara comfertingly. " im not older than you. mabye younger. any armor i wore was tossed after the war. i couldnt stand to think about how many people i killed, and i still see their blood on my hands to this day. to me these war's just let killers have their fun, and innocents get hurt in the prosses."
((i started my profile on here as a human, but Angel asked me to be Alpha. i forgot to change the age at the time, bit it is differant now. and i understand how it would have been like back then.))
