Amused by his friend suddenly dropping off, Ovid yawned. It was rather late, and sleep did sound appealing. Laying in a patch of high grass, he gave one last yawn, before slipping into dreams about heroic adventures and sumptuous rewards for bravery.

"You like flowers, I suppose? They're beautiful, and they smell nicely. But some of them are poisonous and ugly..." Yume looked thoughtfully at the rain and muttered, half for Aelo and half for herself, "But is there anything living in this world which isn't?" She shook her head and smiled apologetically towards Aelo. "I'm sorry, I like talking a little philosophically. That's alright, I hope?"
She watched Skylar walk towards Serenity and smiled. Ah, how cute and peaceful it was here... she almost wished she was a Tala herself. Then she thought of the Brazilian Tala Dris had talked about in her letter. Yume didn't know who Dris was, but she was sure she was a very nice Tala.
I wonder how the Brazilian Tala looks like. He has probably quite exotic colours and is very nice... ah, it will be a joy to see him befriend the Talas here, she thought.

Indiver strides into the meadow, enjoying the feeling of warm sunlight on her wings and fur, and flattens herself into the grass to curl up, hidden except for the slight gleam of lavender wings.


Arc'haentael wings his way in, enjoying the newfound freedom that comes with fully developed wings and dragonflyfae's approval of using them. He flaps his way into a tree and perches with automatic elegance, stretching and then folding his dark blue wings against his back.
He experimentally mrowls out a general announcement that he's in the area, and then settles down in the shade.

Mind buzzing with thoughts of pirates and adventure, Ovid happily mooched through the forest, angling towards the crisp, glittering pond, his throat parched from having spent most of the day reading out poetry for the amusement of himself and his human.
The pool of clear water sparkled in the late afternoon sun, pale foliage stretching tentatively across it's surface, joining grip with other such figures in a fearful attempt to take over.
In this surrounding did the black and white tala take an idle glance at his rippling reflection, before extending his tongue to lap at the cool waters.

Splashing into the cold water with a large splash and a yet larger expression of shock, Ovid spluttered, aiming himself for the surface once more, taking no time to delight in the weightless world and it's beauty. Erupting into the open air with a mighty gasp and an evil glare shot at his attacker, the panda-marked tala made for the shore, intent upon revenge.
Once close enough, he grabbed the others paw, making to pull them into the watery playground.

Chuckling unapologetically, Ovid feigned innocence, fluttering his eyelashes at a speed that would soon have his eyes watering if continued.
"Whatever do you mean?" So saying, he immediately got a splash of water in the mouth, and between splutters, returned the playful splashing. Revenge would be his!

Once more at the mercy of the liquid depths, Ovid smirked under the waves, an idea forming in his quick mind. Time to win!
Diving low, beneath the plants now bobbing and swaying on the uneven surface of the pond, the tala took to grabbing a few at a time, until he had a great bunch. Now for revenge!
Staying under as long as possible, he popped up again near the shore, flinging his catch at the golden femme now attempting to dry off in the sinking sunlight, a few that fell away in the flight splatting wetly on the ground. Ovid was one adventurer that always had a trick up his sleeve!

Ducking beneath the cool waves to avoid this attack, Ovid had some trouble staying under and laughing at the same time, popping back up like a cork. Shrugging with a mischievious grin, the two-toned tala merely continued chuckling, triumphant.
Gaining speech at last, he threw Serenity a triumphant glance.
"My minions did the trick, didn't they?" He sweetly mentioned, before erupting once more into laughter.
