Koiyuki Instead of dodging, she leand back and let the tip fly past her face, grabbing it and letting his overbearing strength carry her upwards. When she reached the very top, she let it momentum launch her towards her blade, spinning and sending several quick balls of lightning at him to divert his attention. As she landed, she grabbed her blade and took her stance, ready to see what else he could pull out. ((Sorry, I just realised I never replied to you o.o)) Now, it wasn't as if he was gently lifting her. In fact, Chris was surprised that she didn't break her hands attempting that. Nor was her sword in close proximity, it was a good 60ft away. And finally, she would've just been launched upwards, and in the wrong direction to where her sword was. So sucks to be her. Whilst she was in the air, Chris swung the stuff around, and hit her in the back, taking advantage of the fact its impossible to dodge or block that sort of attack because she was in the air. The lightning balls hit him, and simply fizzled, earth not being a good conductor and all.

Ryugi Kazamaru once again found himself sucked into this strange and slightly odd place. How many times had he been sent here? He wasn't sure, two, three maybe? It didn't really matter he supposed, but he knew one thing was for sure. If he was here, there was only one reason why, and that was because he was expected to fight someone. So, he looked around the estranged area for his opponent, his defense up and his senses keen... He didn't want to get hit by a sneak attack.

"Weeeee!" Shouyin was back! And doing cartwheels! Rolling playfully around the wide stone arena he was sure to take notice of a certain fellow standing in the center. Although it was hard to get a good look at him considering his constantly shifting vertical and horizontal perspectives, he figured this was his opponent for the day, or was it evening? He continued to cartwheel, assuming that the chum would notice a shirtless man in cream-white pants rolling around nonchantly, especailly when he vocally professed his glee.

Ryugi turned to face the cartwheeling man, and sweatdropped. Oh gods... Not him again...He sighed and then spoke up. Are you my opponent? His voice was tinged with a bit of annoyance. He remembered how difficult it was to take down this man the last time he had fought him, he just hoped things would go at least a LITTLE differently this time.

Either Shou''s memory was lax, or he''d simply chosen not to remember this current subject of interest. Whatever the case, he recognized him not, and upheld this mental state by paying him even less mind then he usually would if he had. He continued cartwheeling, keeping his eyes straight and focused so as not to get dizzy.
The Stone King''s voice was tinged with a bit of nothing, he spoke calm and clearly:
"Does it look like there''s anyone else here? You seem comfortable, you must know what this nice little place is for, about, and all that jazz." If he was capable of shrugging while cartwheeling he would''ve, and probably did, but no one would ever realize it.

I guess that means you're my opponent then.
Ryugi shrugged and silently cursed whomever had sent this man to here for him to battle again. He didn't like having everything he did have no effect on the man, but maybe he'd gotten better since he'd last fought him. And for that matter, the man didn't seem to recognize Ryugi. Maybe that could prove useful.
He took up a nonchallant looking stance watching his opponent cartwheel around the outside of the rocky area that this place had turned into and began to stretch himself out while still keeping a close eye on his opponent. He bent down to touch his toes a couple times, then to his sides, then stooped down into a few squats. He then placed his hands into his pockets and, still facing his opponent's twisting and flipping form, spoke.
Well, the first move goes to you I guess.

"Opponent this, opponent that. Whatever mate." Shouyin ceased to perform daring acrobatic feats and stood calmly in front of his 'opponent'. Bit of a boxing stance this time. He was on the balls of his feet, bouncing slightly, arms raised in front of his face. Oh yes, his move. A slight yawn and he ducked and shuffled forwards, leading with a right rising uppercut to the gut.
"MINERAL STRIKE!"

"MINERAL STRIKE!" Ryugi was just standing watching his opponent when he decided to attack him, but he was cautious when he ducked down and moved towards him. Now, there were several things that one could do from said ducking. One could just keep moving foreward and collide with his or her opponent. They could move into an uppercut into an opponent. Or they could suddenly roll of to the side for a sneak attack. Ryugi expected at least one of these things to happen, and as he saw Shouyin's body begin to arch back up for what he assumed was the uppercut senario, he quickly moved off to the side, watching as Shouyin's uppercut missed, his momentum still carrying him forward. But Ryugi wasn't just going to dodge. As Ryugi moved off to the side, he pumped and shot out his right leg in a quick yet powerful kick aimed at Shouyin's ribs. The nice thing about this kick was that if the rapid kick missed, it would quickly move back towards Ryugi's body and, hopefully, out of harm's way. The kick would have enough power to at least knock the wind out of Shouyin, and probably wouldn't do too much harm to his ribs. But they'd at least be hurting a bit from Ryugi's tough boots.

OOC: *sigh* So it begins.
Well there were some problems with all this. Unless the kung fu master could move faster then the eye could readily see, Shouyin would be more then capable of watching the entire manoeuvre. Even moreso since he had to move far enough to the side to effectively chamber a kick and extend it. As well, this was an uppercut, quick and powerful, pretty much hidden under the torso by the duck until it banged out. Shou had intended on striking at a point where his left shoulder would be naught but one inch away from the man really.
Everything he did was wrong. If you were going to sidestep, then follow it with a hammer to the back, or a quick blow to the body. It was an uppercut, specifically meant for making Ryugi keel over and create more face openings, breathe at the right time and you could even take the punch and deal significantly more damage with a knee or elbow. All the half-golem had to do was hop to the side, three o'clock to be exact, shifting his stance to face Ryugi once again, the kick hitting nothing but air.

The speedy kick missed and returned to Ryugi's body with relative speed. Ryugi then moved into a defensive stance, facing Shouyin. Clearly, Shouyin had been watching Ryugi move the entire time, which was to be expected. First moves in battle rarely worked out how either user intended. Ryugi could be grateful that Shouyin hadn't tried to use a weapon on him at least.
An uppercut eh? Thats a rare first move. But interesting. I guess its time for round two then eh?
Ryugi stood ready to take another attack. Awaiting another responce from Shouyin, or another attack.

Ryugi Kazamaru An uppercut eh? Thats a rare--- Mr. Kazamaru wouldn't get past that. Because by then Shouyin and hopped forward and brought his right leg in front with a heavy right thrust punch to the man's nose. A pretty brutal move, if it landed it was almost guaranteed to shatter the boy's cartilage. The general face ruiner. This wasn't tea and biscuits, this was a bloody fight, and he'd better realize it.
Considering the power of the thrust his arm would refrain from snapping back for a few seconds. Whatever his reaction the half-golem was damn ready. Seemed like he wouldn't even need the pair of nunchuka hanging off his back on a cord all around his waist.

Shouyin Mr. Kazamaru wouldn't get past that... Or would he? Ryugi wasn't stupid. And he tried very hard not to let his guard down durring a fight. Esspecially when one was talking. In order for Shouyin to do ANYTHING, he would have to move, and that would alert Ryugi that something was going to happen. Shouyin ...by then Shouyin and hopped forward and brought his right leg in front with a heavy right thrust punch to the man's nose. A pretty brutal move, if it landed it was almost guaranteed to shatter the boy's cartilage. The general face ruiner. This wasn't tea and biscuits, this was a bloody fight, and he'd better realize it.

Seemed like he wouldn't even need the pair of nunchuka hanging off his back on a cord all around his waist. This attack was reasonably easy to dodge as well. Ryugi then decided to try something. Dodging and attacking at the same time, but this time he wouldn't try another failed kick, he'd try to be a little more direct this time. As Ryugi moved off to the outside of the punching arm to dodge the blatantly obvious punch to the nose, he moved his arm and grasped the punching fist, pushing it away from his moving body. At the same time, he moved his other hand foreward with as much force as he could muster, and aimed it at the punching arm's elbow. If the attack went smoothly, the ball of Ryugi's palm would slam into Shouyin's elbow, forcing it in a direction it was not meant to bend. It probably wouldn't break the bones, but it would hurt. While all this happened, Ryugi's eyes were watching the rest of Shouyin's body. He wanted to be ready for a hit from his other hand, or a kick from his legs. With any luck, Ryugi might get a decent hit in on this man.

Now here was something Shouyin could anticipate. As Ryugi's head moved to the side he slid his body in further, the punch shifting into a dropping elbow to the side of the man's neck, near the base at the shoulder. It would've been just as easy to snap his arm back, but the feint was cool. If Ryugi continued to grip at his fist, or more likely now, wrist then the striking palm would hit the outside of Shou's bicep, maybe weakening the initial blow slightly, but nowhere minimizing the stunning nature of it.
Pressure points, weren't they neat?

Ryugi was caught off guard by the quick shifting elbow and was then smacked in his shoulder area. He pushed away from Shouyin and moved back away from him, his left hand moving up to hold his pained shoulder muscle. His right arm dangling off to his side.
He was now a good distance away from Shouyin, and safe enough from any real immediate attacks. He stared at Shouyin, with a wince clearly evident on his face. His arm was sore indeed, but hopefully it would feel better by the time Shouyin decided to attack again. And if Shouyin tried to move in closer, ryugi had plenty of time to move back away until his arm was feeling good enough to move again.

Aww, had Shouyin hit him too hard? Well nuts to letting him regain his composure, this was a fight. He'd press on. Abandoning the boxing stance he ran at Ryugi full tilt. Unless the man wanted to bone his honour and turn this into a game of cat and mouse he'd suck it up and get back to it. All this time Shou'd been fighting through phantom pains in his right arm, the best his foe could do was handle a pressure point strike.
