Riley shrugged as they walked. "We could go to the park. It's getting late for little children so it should be deserted. Or there's the lake. If I remember correctly, and if it's still there, there's a place that my brother and I used to go to. It was like our secret place where we could let our ears and tells out."

"Well it's the same distance. It is a small town. It just depends on which direction we go." Even with her ears down, she could still hear the children laughing. "Although, I suggest not the park. The kids haven't left yet. And they're the roudy middle school kids."

"Ok then lets go to the lake." Michael said leading the way. even though he wasn't formed into his half breed self or his wolf self. He still had a dogs "nose" he could smell as well as a normal dog could. but when he was in wolf form it was at least 2 or 3 times more sensitive.

"Ok," She laughed and started pulling him in another direction. "But it's over here. The other end is to the public. We want the private end." She listened closely and found that no one was at the lake. "It will just be the two of us there."

They walked a little and then stopped at a gate. Riley covered his eyes and put in the code with the other. The gate swung open and Riley put her hand down and laced hands with his. Thankfully, the code didn't change. Riley closed the gate behind them and she sat down in front of the gate. The breeze was gentle and welcoming. "I've missed this place." She said to herself. The view was breath taking as it always was. When Riley realized the coast was clear, she took off her hat and sighed. "Much better."

Michael chuckled a bit."what about your tail." Michael pointed out. it was very relaxing and pleasing. Michael sat down by the water waiting for her to sit next to him as well.

"Oh yeah!" Riley said and popped out her tail. "I guess my tail was so comfortable that I forgot it was still tucked away." She shrugged and sat down next to him. She watched the water and remembered when her and her brother came here. Now she was able to share the place with someone else that she cared about.

((Going to take a bit of poetic license here.))Beth smiled at Gramps' reaction, also blushing a bit. She hadn't ever had anyone refer to her so kindly before. "Ok. Thanks, Gramps. I think I'll go get dressed first, then go check it out. Excuse me."
She stood up from the table, smiled at the remaining people, then headed up to her room. Pulling on the clothes back on that she had been wearing earlier, she headed back down to the first floor and made her way to the library.
When she opened the door, she got a good idea what Bell must have felt like when Beast had given her her library. "Wow! This is so cool!" She spent nearly an hour wandering among the shelves, looking at the different books. Finally she found one she liked, took it up to her room and curled up on her bed to read.

the night was begining to come so i told him, "I'm going to inject those scientists with two types of animal dna each, see how they like it." walking away, my animal instincts where really begining to flare up bad.
