"eh..um..sorry.." Serena looked over her shoulder to see who was talking. It was someone new in the room. She somewhat remember seeing this lady around before..maybe even had a class with her..she really didn't know for sure, though. Without having a chance to guess who she was, Shinichi introduced this Natamo-san..rather negatively, too. Yet..he seems to look down on everyone anyways. What kind of a teacher was he? Using threats and insults..."Oh, I see..I forgot about that..its a possibility you'll finish before me too. We'll see soon, then, won't we?" The Raiken answered to the Orochi. She smiled a bit and did another pull-up--still a bit of struggle, but better. Now as she rested for a moment before attempting a last one, she listened quietly to the conversation of the Orochi's..Shisei would definitely have something to say about that..

“Hmph. We will see…” the snake child replied to the girl. The amber eyes watched as Serena’s taller form struggled slightly to do another pull up. Her night black hair only made slight movement on her slow descent. The Raiken kept a decent form when doing the pull ups. Despite fatigue, sparkle was still planning on finishing before Shisei. Shisei had other plans though. Once her body had finished doing the second pull up, the viper kid forced his arms to pull the rest of his form towards the steel beam. His stride was a bit slower than sparkle eyes, but the dread head was able to accomplish. Just a minute after Serena, Shisei managed to perform his second pull up. Only one more to go. The boy’s head pivoted slightly to glare at the two adults in the room. “Ero-sensei and that woman underestimate me…” the serpent youth thought. His mind began to wonder about what the flame head had said earlier. Something about the Kage being petrified. Was that an Orochi technique that did it? Shisei then began to wonder was to how and who could teach him such a technique.

The body hung like a wind chime as the serpent youth contemplated about this technique. After a minute’s half contemplation the boy decided to try and finish the exercise. Lest he wanted his self claimed rivals to upstage him too. The muscles and fibers in the boy’s arms and shoulders once again began to pull and stretch as the small form once again began to ascend like a worm making a belly crawl up a wall. This time the youth felt a little bolder. Once his body made the ascent and decent, signifying he was done with the exercise, he pushed his body one more time. The form rose as if doing another pull up, except Shisei flipped his entire skeleton over the bar. His body came floating down with his feet planting him firmly one the ground like a gymnast that just finished a difficult somersault. His gold eye gave a small look to Serena. “Like a said you’re slow. Now hurry up and finish.” his voice ordered the girl to do before turning to emerald hair reaper. “You too. If you still want to fight me.”. His form then turn to the two adults who were idly chatting about a near extinct race. He first turned to leather wearing woman. “I’m not mouthy….” his voice stated before turning towards the violent man. “If the Orochi are so ‘wimpy’ Ero-sensei then why is the Kage petrified? A better question is why weren’t you or this lady with the Kage so he wouldn’t have to fight alone? Well it doesn’t matter now does it… I do understand what you are saying Ero-sensei. To ensure my survival, I’ll need others on my team…” as Shisei said this he let his vibrant eyes move across the room scanning each of his peers. The ones in the class may just be partners with him one day. Shisei saw each of them as potential tools and shields. Not partners. Shaking away that thought boy turned back to jade eye male. The man had said something that the serpent youth found important earlier. “Teach me. Is it this thing called jutsu that you are going to teach? If so I want to learn it now.” One amber pupil also leered at the woman. “If you know jutsu I also want you to teach me them.”

"Good job," Shinichi stated as Shisei finished, though without the usual enthusiasm anyone else would have shown at a student's success. Switching sides immediately, his raised eyebrows dropped to a scowl and the ANBU shook his head disdainfully at the boy. "Your clansmen were much more patient than you. What a bad example to set for the only other Orochi who's going to be alive next year," he snarled, patting Ayumi's head roughly so that her sleek black hair tousled. Shinichi noticed strips of lighter-colored hair underneath the black, thus proving that that hag Yuki could have children. He'd been hoping that Aya, so different from her mother, had been stolen by a Tenmoki-yarou no man would go near. The man rolled his eyes and turned back to Shisei, face showing more anger than he really felt at the boy due to his thoughts about Yuki, "I thought snakes had ears. Baka, I did say that the Kage's partner deserted him to join the other side. Even the weakest squad wins when they team up against only one warrior, no matter how strong. As for me, I had to worry about saving the hides of everyone in the Rice Country! Your clan invented a breed of mutants called Akumu, jawless venom-drooling monsters that recognized no ally. Between dealing with Seshiro's brother, Oboro, and bombing the Akumu dungeon, I had no time to worry about Ichi-danna." The scars on his face seemed to grow deeper as Shinichi became more cross by the conversation. He left Shisei to himself and walked over to Serena, who was almost finished. Good, they were two students closer to moving on. "Try holding onto the bar with your arms further apart, like this." Shinichi leaned into the wall, his forearms making a ninety degree angle with his elbow. He nodded at the girl and walked off to see how Sorri and Karite were doing. "Why don't you help your classmates so we can move onto the jutsu?" he advised as he passed Shisei. Shinichi showed the other boys the length their arms should be apart.

"Well..you do have more energy than I do right now, don't you?" Serena replied. As she gathered energy to do a last pullup, a bit of advice arrived to assist her. "Oh, thanks sensei.." After moving her hands further apart as instructed, she managed to finish a third with one quick pull..this time with no struggle at all. Too bad Shisei had turned to converse with the teacher when she completed the task. She placed her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes in a mocking way and then sighed. She hadn't been the last to finish..there were still one or two more in a struggle. The Raiken walked to a wall and leaned against it, quietly waiting for someone to give her further instructions. "hmm..maybe the sushi only helped a bit.." She said quietly to herself as she closed her eyes to rest for a bit.

Virtually no sound escaped unnoticed from his bat-sensitive hearing. "How else'd you think Shisei managed to finish so quickly?" Shinichi chuckled, imposing a clearly impressed look at Serena from across the room, "Look back on the day. I believe you had less help than anyone here. Nice job, Serena." Well, maybe not Sorri, but he was nowhere finished. Shinichi held up a V for... "Two brats left, guys. Help each other out or we'll be here all day. The snow's coming in drifts so I wouldn't want you stranded here. Of course, you're not spending the night here, not even if the snow reached over my head." They also did not stock shovels at the academy and no way he'd waste a good fire jutsu on some snow. It would be more fun to watch the kiddies shovel the kilometre home. Oh, right. Erm, they'd be working a different set of muscles from the pull ups. And... that was... important. Yeah. Sure.

[ Azzy I'm so sorry! I've been...well, it's been a shitty weekend at my house. T__T ]

Natamo blinked, caught up in giving the small monkey affection. What was she doing here...? Natamo shrugged and answered him before turning back to Orika. "I was bored," she said easily, then smiled at the girl and winked. "Well, Kuu sure is a hell of a hunky water ox - there might be an extra four legs around the farm next summer! I'll come by and check, how about it?" Natamo was secretly pleased at this, because though it was unlikely, a new water oxen was an opportunity for another student to latch on and realize how great fighting with a partner was. The strength and loyalty of water oxen was something Natamo herself enjoyed greatly. However, Natamo's attention snapped back to Shinichi when she heard him mention the Akumu beasts they had fought on Orochi land. She couldn't help it - she sighed wistfully.

"It would have been amazing to tame one of those beasts...the absolute power there was incredible, and they were obviously all created differently, each with its own specialty. That brute I fought...his physical power was astonishing. Shinichi-san, don't you think, even just a little, that those creatures were purely magnificent in that they were raw power in such a bestial form, obviously they had been human..." Natamo trailed off, torn between admiring the beasts and being sick to her stomach because they had once been human...

Sorri had went back into his stretches, waiting till he was sure his body could handle the strain of the bar. He grabbed at his toes and held his right foot for 20 seconds before he let go and gasp to ignore the pain away, then did the same with his left before holding his feet together int a butterfly form. He watched at Natamo sensei fooled around with little Ayumi, then the subject moved back into the the kage, h ar and the Orochi. He knew there was a a strong blow to Shima, even with the safety of the others the kage was still gone. But that wasn't Sorri's thoughts, the Orochi's weren't his problem he had no personal problem with them. Its not my problem.

Akunu...mutants made by Orochis? They used to be humans, how can you create a mutant, how can such an achievement even be thought up. For fighting, for power? How could any land have so much fear for another. Shima did nothing but sit in their peace and prosperity, but Sorri, in his innocence didn't understand how much fear a human could sink into. When that fear crept along almost anyone and anyone would do what ever it took to be stronger, to survive with a hidden fear. He saw it as the Rice Countries being a bunch of punks. He was smart enough to not categorize anyone on the island..then again the same Orochis that used to life on it turned on Ichi...

He Cracked his muscles and jumped outside, the temperature gripping at his feet and chilling up his body. His feet were wet, and he had jumped into the air just in time, his next step would have been one that crashed him into the wall He slowly tried to arrange his arms the way Shinichi had instructed.

Sorri looked over at Karite and slowly pulled up at the bar and healed it for the moment, making this a competition between the two, who ever finished last would be the loser. He was sure he could be the winner, he was ahead. The title alone sped up his heart and got his blood boiling just a little bit more. "Your gonna have to keep up Karite, I don't wanna show you up infront of you little lion friend. Or do I?" He took a deep breath as he came down from his first pull up and closed his eyes shut to keep focus. He handle taken noticed to it, bt though of his father disappeared, thoughts of being alone and maybe soon Ero would temporarily go away when he was in action. When he went into action, sometimes Sorri would zone out and just go into an one-track mentality. It helped him train, but it will become a habit he'll have to break out of to be a surviving ninja.

"If you're bored, let's get on a boat and destroy some armies," Shinichi sarcastically snapped. Natamo didn't look too beat up, they still needed Dhan to make any real moves and last time he saw the Meho, the b*****d was bleeding from both ears. Maybe he was just using the excuse of injured teammates to avoid going into the Rice Country to retrieve Ichi. Was Aya right in suggesting that he had no courage? No, that was ridiculous. Sometimes it took more courage to go against the flow, to do his duty despite his feelings. That was the shinobi way and he intended to preserve that old lifestyle. Shinichi grumpily zoned out of the class until Natamo started talking to him again. He stared blankly into her cheerful face, trying to scoop out the humor, the 'I was just kidding' effect. "Natamo-san," he growled dangerously, "Those were former Orochi soldiers. Not even their clan, their family could control them and you're thinking of taming those monsters?" This wasn't the Shinichi that yelled and stomped and threw tantrums. There was a deadly calm and a distant expression to his vibrant foresty eyes reminded one of a fuming mob boss. He wouldn't let anything show, but the instant the threat turned her back, she'd be shot down with poison arrows. "Power is nothing without a brain to back it up. You can go into battle with the biggest sword and end up dead to a spear user. All I know is that the Akumu were dangerous and needed to be killed. Remember the Orochi themselves locked up these beasts, woman!" he stated, voice low, but never going past the conversation threshold. What were words to such a fawning admirer? Shinichi formed a blur of handseals and made a life-sized water clone. He transformed himself into Oboro and the clone into Natamo's opponent. "So magnificent, aren't we?" the horrendous clone managed to gurgle out. He hoped no one would be puking, for Shinichi had duplicated not only the sights of the mutants, but also their smells and the sound of their ragged breathing. Oboro glared at Sorri with his snake-eye and hissed, "Oboro, that's me, hired them to slaughter us. They were mercs and looked damn expensive too. The Orochi had been planning the attack for years; They used up all their resources and mutated half their army to take us down."

"Sure that's be great, Nata-san," Orika chirped, one foot rubbing the back of the other at the thought of another water bison. This was gonna be awesome! Up, up, and away! Orika took a running start and leapt onto the pole, hooking her legs around the metal with both hands grasped at arms length above her head. Since her feet couldn't very well touch the ground, she only saw reason to go up. The girl took a deep breath and scurried up the pole much like a squirrel until she had reached the top. Hey, wasn't there supposed to be a bell up here? Letting go of the pole, she dropped with a thud to the ground, slipping on her butt. Owie! Orika rubbed her behind soothingly while she watched Sorri do his first pull up. "Come on, you can do thi- Woah, what the heck is that ugly thing?!" she cried upon first sight of the giant monsters standing in the middle of the classroom. The girl hopped to her feet and ran up to the Orochi, standing on tiptoes to stare into the eyes of the taller one. She reached out to touch his jawless jaw, shuddering when the gums moved to her icy hand. "They're so cool!" she exclaimed, wiping the green liquid on her shorts. Luckily, they hadn't stung her hands so she hoped the slobber wouldn't stain her clothes. Mum wouldn't be happy. "Uh, cool in a scary cool way, sensei," Orika offered in reparation when she caught the scary hooded Orochi death glaring her way. She put on a dark expression once he explained that this guy had sent the evil clowns to destroy Shimagakure, comatose Ero, and cause herself to spiral into a deep fear and mistrust of shinobi that she regretted. "Argh!" Orika yelled as she sprinted over to Oboro, fists swinging. She knew this wasn't the real evil mastermind, that the guy was dead, but she wanted her revenge. Her fists struck a tiny blackboard, cracking the poor thing in half lengthwise. "What the- Hey!" the girl froze when she felt the frigid tip of a kunai dig into her throat. Shinichi-sama was reiterating that the Orochi were really dangerous, but she was too busy holding her breath. Orika thought that if she released the air in her chest, her throat would expand and she'd cut herself and die!

Karite ignored the happenings around him, he was not as hungry anymore and that would more then likely help his muscles from acting up again but it would still be difficult to get this task done. Shisei and the entire world seemed to want to talk to him. It was strange but this time around it was not helping any. His mind was wondering to so many different words he couldnt concentrate on the task at hand. his focus was off because of the people around him try to help.

Rubbing his hands together hoping they would be dry enough to continue holding the bar this time Karite jumped up and gripped firmly the torture device the red haired demon had set before him. Now that he was there it would be hard for him to let go with the new found strength in his body. He would finished he was determined to.

Natamo bared her teeth and snarled at Shinichi and his clone, turning the tiny monkey child towards her torso so she wouldn't, at least, see the monstrous form she so admired. Oboro was a creep, that she admitted to herself, and said so out loud: "Oboro was a snake and an evil demon in a man's skin. Their own clan couldn't control them because controlling an animal is different than commanding shinobi - you should know, ANBU, since you can get most everyone on this island to do as you please, but your gyrfalcon 'partner' does what she damn well pleases. You cannot control everything she does, she doesn't let you. Unlike you, I have better sense to work with animals than I do with humans - I can train and control any beast that can be captured and contained. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go and create monsters for my own pleasure - but don't you ever question my ability to tame any beast I can get my hands on. And in case you didn't recall, I did bring back my Akumu trophy - I can get my hands on them." Natamo's temper flared and then simmered as she tried to calm down, taking a few deep breaths and closing her eyes. Shinichi really did know how to strike a girl's nerves when he wanted to, and he was a total a** about it too! Shaking her head, she kept Ayumi close to her chest and walked right up to the man disguised as Oboro, her face mere centimeters from his. "Instead of scaring me, try to be a big enough man to admit that maybe Shimagakure isn't the best at everything - be big enough to accept that other countries, in different ways, are just as strong as we are, and can fight a war as well as we can. Don't underestimate me, Shinichi. I've traveled enough to learn more than just how to handle cats and dogs." Shaking her head and turning her back on him, she cooed at Ayumi, who was still in her arms, and played with the small girl's hair. Stupid man.

Shisei gave a small pout. He had to wait for them now. Why couldn’t Ero-sensei just show him what to do? Yet by the way Ero-sensei spoke, the short tempered man would have probably preferred not to teach him at all. If the serpent youth was the last, the blood hair man would have probably left him and taught the rest of the students. Figures. The young intellect decided not to push the issue and move towards helping the snow haired boy. His feet slowly stride behind this dark skinned boy. His ears picked up on some of the things this foul mouthed man was stating, but disregarded most of it. “You. Stop talking to Karite and do another pull up.” Shisei ordered. His gold eyes glared at the boy awaiting his next movement. If anything the snake child may need to give him a push.

Before this could be done the, a small yelp from the other side of the room caught the serpent’s youth eyes. The gold, serpentine spheres widened and more elliptical as Shisei stared in awe at the sight. Orika was being held by some new person and besides it was a grotesque beast. The boy was beginning to become worried, but when he saw the woman in leather unphased his heartbeat began to slow down. Ero-sensei was also missing. Unless he was a hypocrite to his word, that man would have been in the room fighting that thing. Unless Ero-sensei was one of these new forms. The first form was an Orochi man. That could be seen by the dreads and serpentine eyes. The other skeleton was possibly an Orochi. Yet a much more… beastial version. “This is probably what Ero-sensei calling them monsters.” Fear quickly became curiosity as the child walked up to the person holding Orika by the throat. This must be the thing called jutsu that he used. To not only change his form but create another thing too. “Ero-sensei, teach me how to do that. The others will finish soon. We can go on ahead. I want to know how to transform and make another person.” Shisei stated. He didn’t really care how naive he sounded. His interest was peeked. The viper child wanted to learn more now.

Serena looked up in surprise when she realized Ero-sensei was talking to her. She had thought no one would be able to hear her such quiet voice..at least, not many people usually did when she was mumbling to herself. "Oh. I see..Shisei got a bit of help, and I didn't, yet managed to finish only a bit after him.." She held a finger up to her lips and contemplated. A smiled flashed across her face and she turned to cheer the other two on. "Alright Karite and Sorri, you guys can do it." Then she turned around to gaze at the intriguing water forms that Ero-sensei had made, and then, her eyes grew wide as she saw the figure of Orika, being held by the tip of a kunai. The Raiken gasped, but didn't breathe back out. Like Orika, she felt as if she breathed, something bad would happen.
