The guy gave a smile. "Yeah things have been pretty crazy around here lately it seems. I just got back from long trip, didn't know the city went to hell in a hand basket or anything." he pulled her from the hole. "How'd you get down there?"

She blushed, looking away. "I fell in." she said with a nervous chuckle. "I'm Victoria. What's your name?" she asked, holding out her hand.

"My names Kyle." he introduced himself, shaking her hand. "How about we get back to the street where there's some light?" He held up an old map from a few years back. "I'm trying to find a certain place you see."

"I'd rather wait to see if it's still there or not. I heard it burned down some time ago." he looked at the map then back toward where teh street would be, starting to walk. "So then Victoria, what caused you to come all the way out here to clear your head?"

She sighed.
"Boy trouble. My boyfriend fell into a natural mine shaft and died... I've been conflicted whether to find someopne since. And all the good ones seem either taklen or... well, worse." she looked over at the boy. "Probably you, too, knowing my luck."
