Atemu sat before the latest opponent that ATZ had presented him with, a triumphant smirk on his face. He'd been practicing chess today with little trouble. This man was supposedly a master of the game, one of the best in the world, and Atemu had beaten him with ease. The chess-player was shock, to say the least. But that didn't really concern Atemu. Once the game was finished, he had little further use for his opponents.
He turned to the ATZ member who'd been observing his training for he day for further instruction. THe man nodded his approval. "Excellent work, I think that's sufficient training for today. We'll start with something a little more difficult for you tomorrow." Atemu smirked, doubting they could find a game that would actually be difficult for him. But they could present him with any challenge they wanted, because he was more than happy to overcome them. Though he did find chess fairly boring, even more so after playing it for a full day. He was hoping next time they would pick a more enjoyable game, although he wasn't sure what he had in mind.

"Mainly meaning I think he killed to get it," he whispered, turning red.
(changed colors, way too many of us using dark red)

Jounouchi and Anzu had been too busy removing their shoes and changing into guest shoes to hear Bakura and Malik's conversation, though surely both would be quite freaked out if that had heard it. Jounouchi stretched as he came in, "Good to get out of the rain. I haven't been to your place for a long time Bakura."

Yuugi was soaked on his way to his house. He was only there, pausing under an overhang to recuperate. He shuddered, shivvering uncontrolably, and squeazed his hair, wincing at the water that dripped down. The usual wild locks were unusually tamed by the dampness, hanging down despondantly in a wonderful match to his mood. His leather was probably going to be ruined from this, which only added to his disgruntled irritation... though he had to admit, the disgruntled irritation was far preffered to the depression he had been experiencing. Bright lavender eyes flickered about, taking in the area around him and measuring when would be a good time to dart out again. Home wasn't too far away, just ten more minutes or so, and the prospect of a warm shower and an escape from the bite of cold winds tempted him into the gradually worsening storm once more. He payed little heed to what was around him, simply charging home as fast as he could. It was strange, but... despite the storm, despite all that had happened.... something inside of him felt like laughing. 'Maybe this whole thing is finally driving me nuts? How ironic, that it would be loosing the voices in my head that would do it...' Shaking his head a bit, Yuugi dismissed the thoughts, instead concerning himself with getting home.
Several scientists, statistics and strategists were carefully monitering Atemu, from everything to behavior and movements to his physical health. Everything seemed to be progressing perfectly. Despite the original outburst, his obediance to his superior was unquestioned. There was a few moments where he stopped when nothing was there- perhaps side affects of the shadow magic? They knew little about it after all, and it seemed as reason able as anything. Either way, it wasn't something they worried over.
They were far mroe concerned with his success in the games- he had far exceeded their admittably high expectations, and they planned to move him onto the physical tests the next day.
In all aspects, it seemed Project Atemu was a complete success.
Still, though, Abdul Aziz was displeased and nervous. While the project had turned to development, he instead had began researching the past of one of the key items in the ritual- the items themselves. It had been difficult at first, and most of what he found concerned him little. It was the fate of the main item, the puzzle, that most disturbed him. Not in and of itself, but of the boy who found it, and more specifically, the resemblance to Atemu, and his rather sudden rise in the gaming world since finding it.... The boy might know something, or recognize Atemu. This could be highly troublesome in the future... Abdul stretched, pulling back from the report he had finished writing, illustrating his concerns. He read it over, once, correcting a few minor mistakes before sending it to his secretary, to be sent to the project head. It was, Abdul felt, worth his time. Task complete and feeling satisfied, Abdul headed to his room for the night. He stopped on the way to peak at Atemu, smiling a bit as he did so. Atemu was perfect, an utter success... indeed, there was no way they could allow some meddlesome boy threaten that success... he would simply have to be made to dissapear.

Malik didnt reply, feeling that there was no need to; not that he knew what to say back to Ryou.
(Uh...now what? xD)

Onuris looked through the report on his desk with the smallest bit of aprehension, though no one would have known it had anyone been in the room with him. He looked down at the picture of a young japanese boy that looked curiously like Atemu. At the account of how this boy had solved the sennen puzzle, the key item in the revival of Atemu, and how he had then moved on to become the king of games. Duel monsters champion of the world.
There was no questioning it. Atemu had to have been involved in this boys success. They had been under the impression that this was the first time Atemu had been awakened since his death three thousand years earlier, but they had been wrong. Somewhere inbetween, by some feat that Onuris could not fathom, Atemu had met up with this Moutou Yuugi from Japan.
Of course, the why and how of this event were not important. As Aziz had presented in the report there was only one thing that mattered. Moutou Yuugi was a risk to the control of Atemu, and therefore he had to be terminated.
Onuris pressed the call button on his intercom.
"Yes, Mr. Onuris?" came the voice of his secretary from the other end of the line.
"Set course for my private jet to leave with myself, Atemu and any key members of the project Atemu team in three days. The destination is Domino, Japan. Atemu has proven to be a very successful creation, but now it's time we give him a field test.
"Of course, sir. Right away."

Ryou just tilted his head at Jou. "Well, this is the new one...I moved out of the old house."

((DUN DUN DUN!!!! ...sorry. XD Had to put the forboding music. razz ))
Oblivious to the danger that was rather immediate to his being, Yuugi, some part of him still feeling strangely happy, reached his house. He was soaked from head to toe, despite his attempts to ring out his hair and squeaze out his shoes. He didn't waste much time doing that, however, heading upstairs to take a nice, long shower, warming himself and hoping he didn't catch a cold.

((Ok, so do you guys want to finish roleplaying the next few days out and I'll just lurk for a little while whilst you do? Or do you want to have a time jump and just have Atemu come to Japan now?
I don't mind either way, so it's up to you.))

((I don't mind either way as well.)) Jounouchi blinked, "Really? Well I guess it really has been a long time if I didn't even notice we were in a different place." he said sweat-dropping.

((I also don't mind either way. Yuugi's probably not going to interact anymore today as it is.
Anyway, I think I might contact a mod about getting this thread moved to the roleplay forum. :3))

Malik laughed out loud at Jou's usual obliviousness.
"So I guess we should just wait around for Yugi, then." he said, but when he got no reply for quite a while, he then looked back at Ryou.
"Can I use your bathroom?" he asked suddenly, but really he just wanted to get out of this akward situation.

Ryou blushed and nodded softly. "Sure, first door on the left," he spoke, walking to the linen closet to grab a towel or four for anyone who needed it.
