Imperius struggled, Drako was literally constricting him. He held one last breath and told Angel through the Force to attack from behind. Summoning what little strength he had, he leaped the lightdagger forward to his hand, lit it and plunged it straight into Drako's chest.

Drako looked down at the dagger. He looked up at Imperius. A low and evil laugh cracked from his voice emiter. One of the arms came up and pulled the small light dagger the sissled in his chest plate.

" Poor little Imperius. Think you can fight back....think you can win.... Not this time. "

Drako pulled Imperius up by leg and spun him around and around. Faster and faster. Drako looked around for the girl.

Cale glanced up upon hearing his name and eyed the two at the bar. Listening closely, it sounded like they wanted a piece of glass from him.
Glass? I don't have any glass...unless they mean the crystals...interesting. Judging from their convorsation, their views on him were non too nice. making it all the easier to point them in the wrong direction.
Time for a little fun. he thought as he stood up and sauntered over to the bar.
He leaned on the counter and glanced over to the Human. "Hey, I overheard you fellows looking for Cale Darksun right? Hell that Barve comes in here all the time, owes me money. Though I haven't heard of him hauling any glass as of late. Not his style. He doesnt have the patience to play the traders game. But if you're looking for glass theres an Ithorian in the market that sells genuine Shaum-Hi glass cows. good price and people love them in the coreworlds." The outlaw said, Rambling on like an old hand.

Imperius spun, but he used the Force to take the dagger again. He had burned a whole through the armor, and within this hole was actual flesh and blood. Distracted by the dizzinesss, Imperius kicked Drako backa s hard as he could, flipped backward and dug the dagger into his chestplate again, making an even bigger and deeper incision.

"That wouldn't be the glass we're looking for," Gunnie stated, waving his hand like he saw Neb do a couple times in the past.

"Gunnie, you know that only Jedi can perform a 'jedi mind trick', don't you? And We're not looking for some Ithorian. We're looking for just one man. Since you already know his name, then I would presume you would know his reputation. And with that, I'd also assume that you know him by the way you talk. And if you know him, then there is usually a good chance you know where he is. I have an offer for him which he can't refuse... Well, I should rephrase that he shouldn't refuse. Otherwise he might find himself in delusions of grandeur... Crime lords will follow him to the ends of the galaxy, and he'll be stuck fighting the entire universe sooner or later, when word gets out. But I imagine the poor man can't help it. I thank you for your time stranger, but we have buisness to do. Bothans are good spies, but it seems we are incapable of doing the meagerest of tasks. We'd better head back for the ship. The Knowledge Bank knows by far that the b*****d has skipped the planet by now." Hudson mused, the effects of his drink making him more talkative and melancholy.

"It would be useful for a description, but the swaggart probably isn't even human... probably dead in an alley somewhere. Poor guy. I wish he was better than a trader. I mean, I was expecting someone in this joint would at least know how to handle a blaster, but thanks to you man, I've been proven wrong again. Probably thought he was a good gunfighter and got bitchslapped until he cried and gave up the piece anyway."

Gunnie pulled out a pair of credits, handing them to Hudson.

"Yea... Gunnie likes weapons. I like cards. But neither of us have any time left to waste in this god-forsaken joint, so unless you have some good details where we can find this Fartsun dude, I'm afraid we've best be off. For a shadowport, it seems this place isn't really much of a hideout. Outlaws? This place is filled more with In-laws than outlaws. And as Gunnie said, chances are someone just twisted his ear until he cried uncle and released the glass. And here I was hoping for someone intelligent to make a deal with. But I have once again been proven wrong as well. Poor bloke, I bet he died a virgin as well."

Hudson passed the pair of credits back to Gunnie. The two sighed, slamming their heads on the bar.

Drako felt the hit, but didnt have enough time to stop the dagger. Drako upper cutted Imperius in the gut and slammed his helm knocking back into anouther rock.

" Hrmm....a small problem. " Drako called PR1M3 to come and get him. He sent a message to the Dreg.

" There is a ship here....FIND it. DESTROY IT!!! " Drako darted out of site and found PR1M3.

" Is Fett dead? " Drako got in and took off.

" Chances of that happening: 1,748,917,202,412....To 1. No....he is not dead. "

"know him? of course I know him. He's a younger human fellow, bout my height with Dark hair." Cale said as he ordered a lum. "I wouldn't Say that In-laws crack around here If I were you buddy. Alot of these guys take their reps seriously and theres more than enough skill and muscle here to beat the tar out of both you newbies."
He heard an audible thump and looked over to see the two bang their heads on the bar. He patted the Human on the shoulder sypathetically. "hey, hey. No need to get so down in the dumps. I'll help you find the guy. I just saw him this morning as a matter of fact."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 19, 2005 4:02 pm

"No need, kind sir. I'm sure that our 'new guy' presence would be much worse off than what we need anyway. I believe the Jedi should be informed, and let them take the search into the purpose. Plus, being new, I'm sure that anyone, whether inlaw or outlaw, would have more trouble with us than jedi. Jedi are predictable, never being the first to fire. Us, however, are amateurs. Amateurs are unpredictable, and anyone smart would rather deal with a jedi than us. I mean come on, they're jedi. Who in the world would be scared of them? Hell, I'd feel the most at ease around a jedi. Even to criminals they never hurt them, except in the most rare of cases. Us, hell, Gunnie's pistol would kill you right here and now if he wanted," Hudson stated, indicating the blaster pointed at the stranger, before it was flipped up on the table.

"But then again, there's only two of us, and many more in the asteroid alone."

Cale wasn't entirely suprised at the sudden apearance of a blaster. This was Vergresso afterall. but to have a blaster drawn on him in the Starbird Sector was somewhat new. then again, these were outlanders.
Cale slid the pistol over to the mon cal with a warning look. "Yeah don't do that here. Nobody in the Starbird sector is gonna try and get the drop on you. all of these guys are ex-Rebel Alliance or pro Republic supporters, so theres a sort of honor code going on here. drawing a pistol on one like he's a thug is pretty insulting. wanna play Gallandro, go to somewhere else in the Life. not here."
The reference to a jedi suddenly clicked in Cale's head. His face maintained his calm easy going look while the inside of his head filled with a mounting "oh s**t". feeling.
not that guy again! he thought, imeediately thinking of the jedi he met on Ord Mantell.
He sipped his drink and looked back to the newbies. "so why are the jedi after this guy's chunk of melted sand? I mean, its not hard to get. just step five feet out of any town on Tatooine and shoot the ground."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 19, 2005 4:53 pm

"And you're supposedly Pro-republic? That's a laugh. Nobody here is Pro- anything, except maybe authoritarian. Everyone's a thug here, whether or not they like to admit it. One could technically call us a thug, as you see what we do now. As for why the Jedi want the 'chunk of melted sand', why would we know? Why would they want to protect the weak? Why would the greatest of them all live in a swamp and call it home? These things are easy to answer, but then again, why would, since as you put it, 'these guys take their reps seriously', want a piece of glass either? Surely the answer to one can be applied to the answer of the other. If they are burly, tough men, then they would have no interest in the sorts. If they are like, as I said, in-laws, then we can safely assume that they would not need a reason, as they are prone to such indeliquencies as that."

Hudson reclined in his chair. "You said this cale was your height and had dark hair? I must say, that describes many a people in this place. That description is about as useful as me saying I'm looking for an outlaw here in Vergresso."

Some of the nearby "Thugs" were glaring angrily at the trio at the Bar, specifically Hudson. Cale could hear the ocasional safety being clicked off.
"Um, another word of caution; If I were you, I'd go and find somewhere else to drink. Y'know, before you say something else the regulars don't like."
Cale payed his tab and turned to the two fellows."Can't say I didn't try to help you guys. Good luck anyway in finding Darksun. If on the off chance you manage to find him, tell him he still owes me money." With that, Cale stood up and made his way for the door.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 19, 2005 5:24 pm

"Hey!" Hudson called as the man began to leave. "Why would he owe you money? Surely you must know why he's considered 'a softie' in the channels we've been listening to. Are you to say that you can't even ask for what's rightly due? Are people that abvirtuitious?"

Hudson cocked one goggled eye at gunny, who had begun feeling his arm.

"Something tells me that says this man knows more than he's letting on... call it a hunch." Gunny mumbled. Gunnie's hunches were good betting tokens, quite reliable, much like War Admiral when faced against anyone except Seabiscuit.

"And you never answered why an outlaw, great or small, would want a piece of glass. Isn't it strange, that someone who values living outside the law would buy something so mundane?"

Cale started heading toward the Phoenix, staggering a bit as the liquor started to take effect. He reached for his comnlink and dialed up Cambot.
"yes sir."
"hey Cambot, check the Facility to see if there are any Republic or Jedi owned ships in dock."
"How would I do that sir?"
Cale hissed in frustration. "I don't know, think of something! I got the feeling someone is out after us."
"what makes you say that sir?"
"I just ran into some barves in Norric's who were looking for me. They haven't a clue who or why they're looking me up, but Im guessing they're not alone."
"I'll do what I can sir." the droid said.
Cale terminated the Call as he left the Starbird sector, looking for a turbolift to the facility.
"Great. I knew the damn rock would bring me trouble. it never fails. I get my hands on something good, then everyone and their mums want it too."
