I don't think Eliwood would willingly travel with 'bad' or 'evil' people, so to speak... If they're the only people he'd meet, then he'd have little choice, if he has an ounce of common sense. Better to travel with people you can't stand until you find others instead of walking alone. But when all comes around, it's your choice. o_o Don't worry Hat. We've all been there. raincoat migration But shouldn't he be able to tell by their actions, the way they treat other people, how other people react to them, etc. etc.? It might be easier to tell with the mage group, but consider Siegell... maybe a temper, but he's got a startlingly seductive mission, especially for someone who had to legitimately stop a menace like Nergal and helped Lyndis reclaim her place as rightful ruler of whatsitcalled.

So I'm considering joining, but I'm worried that my character isn't up to it.

No, you're not. He's a bit of a wimpy guy, as he's the FE7 tactician and has very very very limited fighting abilities, so I'm afraid he's going to get killed, or something. That and he's a light, comic relief character; I'm worried about how well he's going to fit into the plot. Do you guys think I could squeeze him into the game all right? ;~;

Nonsense, we always need comedic relief! As long as he's not fat we can squeeze him in anywhere, and besides, Lance isn't funny enough to be comedic relief on his own!
Lance: First off, I'm funny. Secondly, WHY AM I A COMEDIC RELIEF CHARACTER?!
When you fall asleep during inopportune times, you'll have to live with being a comedic relief character.
