The Pheonix Countdown
Surion looks through his pouch on his hip, the cloaked male wanted to find the paper with the number given to him by the redheaded male. He stood at a payphone wanting to call him. After a lot of shuffling of items, he finally locates the crumpled paper in the corner of the pouch and pulls it out flattening it against the phone. Next was the rummaging for a piece of gold, which he eventually located as well and dialed the number.

The sound of pounding down of drums filled Elliot's room. The phone continued to ring but the red head was on a roll. He couldn't stop. Lucky for Surion he had finished before it went to voice mail. " Ah! Sorry! Hello this is Ell-myster!"

Surion had been just about to hang up, in fact the phone had been heading for the cradle when his keen hearing picked up the voice and he brings the phone back to his ear "Ell-myster? uhh.. as in Elliot?" he was not familiar with the guy's nickname he'd only run into him the once since he'd started coming back to Gaia

" Ah yeah" The young boy chuckled as he put up his drum sticks. " This is Elliot, and you are?"

"This is Surion" he lets it be known who he is, whether or not Elliot would remember him he wasn't sure, but it seemed probable, after all he'd known who he was the last time he'd seen him

" Oh yeah! I remember you man! How are you? " He asked rather cheerfully. He certainly remembered Surion for the last time they where at the clinic

"Not too bad actually, just doing the same old stuff I normally am... " he leans against the side of the phone booth as he speaks

" Stalking around?" He chuckled again. " I'm kidding. Hey want to hang out sometime? I know this really cool bar...well I'm not old enough to get in or anything.."

"Nah" he chuckles at the same time "Not that you wouldn't pass as it, but sure, why not I've not been to a bar here in Gaia or even a club, least not that I can remember, was told I worked in a nightclub at one point..."

" Cool. It's called The Phoenix Countdown. It's need the barton store. You really can't miss it. "

"Sounds good" course he'd have to check a map for the store too... "When might you like to do that?"

" Eh, well I am free right now. I need to chill. I have a jig tomorrow night there. And I wanted to see the place."

"Sure, I'll meet you there then?" he nods as he speaks

It didn't take long for Elliot to throw on one of hit h.Naoto t-shirt and pants. He was dressing up for the bar. Even though his band was a rock band. The Phoenix Countdown was a goth bar. " I look hooot" He said to him self in the mirror. He jumped on his motorcycle and headed towards the club. His mother glared at him as he jumped onto the dangerous thing.

Surion consults his map and soon was approaching the club in question. He was dressed no different then normal. He'd not expected to go anywhere that needed him to dress unusual. If one were to look at his garb the only part that might be clubbish was his pants with all the belts around the legs.

Elliot soon arrived and parked his bike in the back lot. " Wow, I can't believe I will be playing here tomorrow!" He said to him self as he entered. Peering around the room he looked for Surion. And when he found him he ran over. " Oi!"

Surion had been looking up at the sign, his hands in his pockets under the cloak. He hears the voice he recognized from the phone and looks towards it "Hey Elliot" he greets him

Elliot had a childish grin on his face. " Yo! Hey I think your taller now." He said putting his hand at the level he had last remembered him.

Surion laughs "That does tend to happen when you grow up doesn't it?" he glances at Elliot's attire "Uhm am I dressed ok for this?" he questions as his gaze moves to another person nearby then back to Elliot

" Yeah your fine you blend right in. I am just trying to blend in. I have a show her tomorrow. And I want to make a good impression." He said while plopping down at a near by table.

Surion follows Elliot, the dragonettes looked up at the area and then relaxes back on his shoulders bored. "Okay" he replies and drops into another seat at the table "What kind of music you play?" he could only presume it was music considering it was a club

" Well mostly rock. I haven't really gotten into a band, I've just been filling in for a few. You know someone is out sick or vacation. They call me in. Anyway enough about me. How have you been? Did you find a place to stay?"

"I've been good, I still stay at home in WaterDeep, just planeshift here to visit and try and sort out the past. Got a few bits of the massive puzzle sorted out but still a lot to go, Tinania helped a bit on that front a little while ago" he leans against the table

" Ah..." Elliot squirmed in his seat as he mentioned Tinania. She was his first love. " The puzzle of your past? What did you find out?"

"I look at my past as a huge puzzle, I still don't know most of it... Mostly what I found out was just some small things, the rest of my name, what some stuff was, among a few other things" he remembered Elliot's reaction to him the last time they had talked regarding Tinania, he decided not to bring up the fact she'd told him they'd been engaged in the past...

" How much longer do you think until you have solved your puzzle? Is there anything I could do to help?"

"I'm not setting any time, could be a while could be never, the only thing anyone can help me do is re-tell me things they know about my past... that's about it" He flags down a server to get a drink

A sever passes by and ask them what they want to drink. " I will have some crown and coke. " He asked then turned back to Surion. " Well I think I have told you everything I know about you. I only met you once before the clinic."

Surion himself orders a more custom drink he liked in WaterDeep before focusing his attention on Elliot once more "Yeah, I've met a few people who didn't know me or only met me once before... Bronwen, Elle, and a couple more" he taps his fingers as if to count them off

" Do you remember your mother? Or your father? Aren't you a child of the clinic?"

"Mom lives with me and Drag, my father I wouldn't have a clue.... Mom is dating this new guy" he scowls slightly "I'm not sure I trust him yet" he sighs slightly then adds "I've been told I am yes"

" Hmm" Elliot looked down at his drink. " Well I am with you on not knowing your father...mine disappeared when I was young. And I don't know how I would feel if my mom started dating...." He scowled.

"Yeah, this one walked into her life, and then took off, and then decided to walk back in 2 weeks later so needless to say..." he sighs

" Women...well do you like the guy? Have you met him yet?"

"Yeah I met the guy briefly a couple times, mom seems to like him though. " he sighs "I guess I'm kinda protective of her in a way"

" Hmm I think I would feel the same. " He said before taking a sip of his drink. It was strong and bitter he made a face.

Surion takes a drink of his drink, the inn in WaterDeep made it better but this was ok for the moment. "I can imagine, least I know I'm not alone in that"

Elliot nodded. " What would you do if they got married. If it where me. I don't think I would be able to accept another man as my father. Especially at my age."

"Oh Lo... I'm not even sure I want to think about that... I most certainly wouldn't consider him as such... Time could only tell on that one. It's not that far I don't think, though they are certainly not being... innocent in her room" he wasn't sure he wanted to bluntly say out loud he knew his mom's relationship was getting a touch intimate

Elliot shivered. " That sucks man.." He paused. " Well anyway...so you have a girlfriend??" He wanted to change the subject, just incase Surion was getting uncomfortable talking about his mom and boyfriend.

"Nah, I've not looked for a girlfriend, I travel a lot, I'm not sure I'm ready for one at this point." He was a bit... obsessed to some degree with discovering his past and learning from Dragono, not to mention finding out about what Tinania had been to him put a damper on the desire.

" Ah. Been busy. I'm the same girls throw them selves at me after a concert. I always have to turn them down because of my busy sceduel. " That was such a lie. Because he usually just filled in for other drummers the girl didn't even notice him. Oh how he longed for something!

Surion chuckles softly "I could imagine you get looks, you certainly have the looks for it. So do you do anything besides music then?"

" Erm...well I fix people's drum sets. I have a side job at a music store. Nothing special. " He left out the other job he hand, painting Gundam models and selling them on internet.

"Sounds like you have a handful, I haven't bothered to look for a job yet myself." He plays with the alchemist pendant with one hand turning the glass of his drink in small circles by it's base as he relaxes and talks

" So you said you come from another plane.. that's like another dimension right? What's it like there?"

"Yeah it's kinda like another dimension or world. It's a bit more... " he wasn't sure how to describe the world he lived in and he pauses thinking "Not sure how to put it..." he says after a moment "there's a lot of stuff here they don't use, like a cell phone for example"

Elliot thought for a moment. " Well I would definitely not last very long there. Do they have magic there?"

"Magic? oh definitely, a lot of that actually" he lets go of the pendant and shifts leaning on his elbow once more "It's some of what Drag teaches me, different magic"

" Different magic...." His eye caught the pendant. " Hey I've seen that somewhere before."

Surion glances down "Which?" he had the pendant and the usual orb on the chain on

" The pendant. I think I have one like that."

"Oh, the alchemist pendant" he lifts it a moment before letting fall against his chest again "Yeah it amplifies alchemic powers"

" Ah, well I don't think I have alchemist powers. But I remember I have one of those. I think my mom told me someone gave it as a present when I was born. "

"I'm not sure where this one came from, but I do practice alchemy so I suppose it does make sense. Do you have any magical ability?" He inquires

Elliot tilted his head to the side. " Well I don't think so. Sometimes my mom talks like I do. When I was young weird things would happen and she would ask me if I did something."

"Weird things? Then I suppose it is very possible you do and don't realize it." He brushes some of his bangs out of his face, he nods slightly and thinks for a moment before adding "It's always possible to learn if you don't"

" Could....Could you teach me some magic...Not like that kiddy magic. But real magic?"

"I'm not sure just how good of a teacher I would be, there's so many different kinds of magic as well" he shifts his weight reaching into his pouch and pulling out a folded page flattening it on the table and grabs a teaspoon nearby setting it on it "I mean this is only one of them" a moment later he'd transfigured the spoon into a small fork instead

Elliot leaned forward that a child who had just saw his first rabbit pulled out of a hat. " That...that was so cool!"

"It's just equivalent exchange which is the founding principle of this, to get something you have to give something" He picks up the fork turning it in his hand

" So basically you are trading. The spoon the create the fork. So what would you get if you traded this" he reached into his pocket and pulled out an old pocket watch.

"To be honest you could transfigure almost anything into anything, there's only a few exceptions to that, that's gold, and living beings" He sits up more as he explains

The Other Side of the Mirror
Surion stares into the mirror in his room. The tall male was at home in the inn in Faerun, his cloak was hanging on the hook in the corner next to Senti's spear. He had his ring on, like he almost always did in this world. "I need to figure out this image" he whispers to himself, it was one of the ones Tinania had not helped him sort out and he had a feeling it was important. "Now what was it she said... oh yeah..." Surion takes a deep breath, glances at the two dragonettes curled up on his bed and lifts a hand knocking on his mirror, he did not know if it'd work from where he was, but it was worth a try.

Ceres spun around in her home the moment she heard that sound. "Good gracious." She said, and hustled down the hall of her home. She was heading for the room where all guests traveled in that she invited. She didn't think to check her own mirror. "I don't remember setting up a visit..." She flung open the door, and saw nothing in the mirror. She tapped her chin.

"Hrm... Oh silly me." She turned and walked back to the kitchen to retrieve her own mirror. "Must be the mail man." She was rather excited even if her children were looking at her like she was crazy. "I'm stepping out to check the mail." She said as she gathered up Natalia from her high chair, and also her traveling bag.

Sky, in Pegasus form had just come into the living room. He been out for a romp, and some exercise. "Where you heading?"

"Mail. Just got a knock." Ceres smiled.

"Let me come with you..." Sky smiled.

"Sure." Ceres said not even thinking of the bulk, or shape of her blue haired companion. When he was settled next to her she whispered. "Ready then?" With a nod of his head they vanished to where the knock was coming from.

Ceres was sitting on a... "Bed! This isn't the mail room." She said flustered as she held Natalia tight.

"Bit tight in here..." Sky said with a snort. "Should have shifted." He whinnied in equine.

Both dragonettes scrambled to get out of her way not really desiring to be sat upon. Senti chittering up a storm and Kuyl just giving a glare that he lost his spot

Surion spins hearing voices and picking up scents behind of him. He'd expected Ceres yes, but not her entire family "Wow... it worked" he muses taking in the scene before him

"It most certainly did." Ceres said as she blew air upwards to get the loose hair out of her face. "To a degree... Her I was thinking I was was coming to check the mail."

"You really should be a caller ID feature on that thing..." Sky couldn't help to laugh which was more a whicker. He shook his head, tossing his mane. "To bad it isn't possible."

"You really should shift... Your butts to big for the room." Ceres smile innocently as she dug around in her bag with her free hand. The two worked well together that Ceres' site was nearly flawless.

Senti scrambles across the room up onto his spear before chittering at Ceres one more time before reverting to his wooden state, a state Ceres had not likely ever seen before

Kuyl repositions himself on Surion's pillow not having the 'luxury' of reverting to any other state

"Well uhm, you did say I could contact you by knocking on a mirror... And this isn't my bathroom" he laughs before pulling a chair out from a nearby desk and turning it before sitting so the back was in front of him and he was straddling it as he faced her

"Yes, I did." Ceres nodded with a smile. "But, first let me make some room." She said as she pulled out Sky's 'clothing'. "And, lets see... Make peace for disturbing someone." She winked and went back to dig around in her bag. "Has to be something in here."

As she was occupied Sky set to shifting. He wasn't all that good with it as he had only recently put it to good use of going back and forth. It took him at least a good five solid minutes before he was fastening his clothing in place.

At which time Ceres pulled out a treat from her bag. "Always a little bit of everything in this bag." She said simply hoping to draw the critter back from his wooden state.

Surion diverts his eyes from Sky and watches Ceres for a moment before speaking to Senti in his mind. It took time to convince the dragonette to return to his live state, he'd barely accomplished this task by the time Sky had finished dressing

Senti slowly creeps back to the bed smelling the treat

"I seriously didn't mean to squash you..." Ceres said honestly as she laid two lids on the bed. Slowly she set the meat treats on the bed. "I keep running into you so I started packing ahead for the just in case." She smiled.

"Now. I know you didn't call me here to hand out treats." Ceres said to Surion. "So... Woman troubles, memory troubles?" She asked with a slight mischievous grin, and a giggle in her voice.

Sky took Natalia from Ceres so that her hands would both be unoccupied.

Senti digs into the treat after chittering at her for a moment almost scoldingly.

Kuyl lazily joins him in the treat.

Surion takes a breath "Last time we visited I mentioned images I'd seen from my past, Tinania solved some of them, but there's one that feels like it should be important that wasn't... "

"Solved." Ceres said simply as she folded her hands in her laps. "... And, you have called me here to help you." She smiled. "Have I got it right?"

Surion takes a deep breath and looks at his hands "You said you could help me, that I might not like what you reveal from what you see in my memories, but considering I only see a still image I'm willing to take that risk"

"Then you've weighed heavily in thought about this decision." Ceres looked Surion in the eyes. "That means you are willing to allow me in your mind. And, that you understand I may not see what you want me to see..." She took a deep breath. "I will not pry open locked doors. Things you consider private. But if it happens to be something you do not safe guard then I cannot help it. It isn't something I choose to see. It is actually what you are choose for me to see. Even if you are not realizing that, that is what you are wanting me to see." She had to make sure he understand to the fullest extent.

Surion looks up when she begins to speak. He nods a few times as she speaks to him to acknowledge he heard what she was saying "Ceres..." he starts when she stops talking "Most of my life is a blank, I know everything I can know from the last year or so, but before that is almost all a blank, I remember learning skills, but not who taught them to me. I remember little things that Tinania was helping me remember but there's still so many things I don't." He pauses "There's one thing in the images that came to my mind when I grew that feels important, I really want to know about it"

"I understand." As Ceres nodded she scooted off of his bed, and started towards him. She moved with a near unnatural grace. What she wore barely moved. She took a deep breath as she put her hand on his shoulder. "Then you accept what I have told you."

Surion watches her approach and pushes his bangs out of his face and looks up at her "Yeah, I do" he says after a moment, he was nervous, but, he wanted to know

Finally, the flick show stopped. This moment must have been important to Surion if this is what she was seeing. "Typical." Ceres whispered. It was as if she herself was walking through the home. "Locked door..." Where were this going she wondered. "Stairs... A certain smell of... Potions?" She couldn't say for they didn't seem to be heading that way. They seemed to be heading out. "Emerald Haven's Land." She said as it was whispered into her mind. "There's a side road that leads to a main road." She was walking down that very road. Her mind ached it was as if the memory was ending.

"Emerald Haven...." Surion had to think about this for a time, he was otherwise silent, at least for the moment. He was trying to remember anything, anything at all about the land she was describing. Little tiny bits seemed to make sense, but he had a feeling he'd have to see the place to actually remember anything else

Ceres turned back to the house. She was sure, but what ever this was it wasn't over yet. It wanted her to know something else. She gripped his shoulder as she began to whisper some numbers that sounded like an address. It was barely said in memory before it came to an abrupt end.

Surion looks up hearing the bare whisper with his very good hearing, his draconic hearing. What she said had to be the key, the key to finding more info about this place. "Thankyou" he says quietly

Ceres nodded her head despite how dizzy she had become. "Forgive me..." She said with what seemed to have no breath behind it. Her grip loosened suddenly, and she collapsed on the floor. Her body hitting bits of the near by furniture. She was naturally a strong woman on her island and could easily pry. But, this wasn't where she drew her power from. She was limited. But, a part of her knew he had to know that.

Sky who had been paying more attention to Natalia hadn't seen the tail tell signs of Ceres using her energy at a rapid rate. He carefully sat Natalia on the bed, and moved to Ceres. He knelt next to her, checking her over.

Surion watches her a moment before looking directly at Senti who immediately scampers over onto Surion's shoulder wrapping his tail firmly around his upper arm. The dragonette was latching on as if he had a serious purpose, not just an idle wish to be on his shoulder. Surion gets up from the chair and moves it aside. Without a word he takes his ring off revealing his Kersallian and draconic features and touches her forehead in the same place his own gem was. His gem lights up as he touches her he was giving her some of his energy.

An unease fills Sky. He is not use to Ceres exhausting herself to this point. And, he is also not use to anyone stepping in to her. His tail flicks about nervously. But he breaths easier when he sees her eyes flutter, and her lips part as she gasps for air.

Ceres stared outwardly, blankly. She breathed heavily as she felt her stomach. She couldn't see through any ones eyes and didn't know where she was. Worst of all she couldn't feel her baby. She was starting to panic. "My baby... Is she... Okay." Tears streamed from her eyes. "What... is going on. My baby. Where am I?" A dozen questions left her mouth. She was frightened of the unknown, the dark.

Surion's hand leaves his touch of her as her eyes open. A look of confusion crossing his face as he looks from Ceres to Sky. The dragonette on his shoulder had not yet moved as he did his task

Sky looked just as confused as Surion. "You were helping a friend, and you used just a bit to much of your energy." He said in the softest tones possible. "He helped you... And, Natalia is just fine."

Ceres managed to calm her breathing. "You mean... I had a baby?" She asked a little puzzled as to when.

"You've had a baby as long as I've known you" Surion says with some hesitation. His brow never lowering as he looks back and forth between the pair

Sky reluctantly moved away from Ceres. He heads over to the bed, and scoops up Natalia. It takes him a moment to settle next to her.

Natalia fusses for a moment at one moment being held and the next being put down. But she's got her blanket, so that makes her happy.

Ceres looks blindly in the direction of the baby sounds. "Natalia." She says as she rubs her temple. "It's fuzzy." She said as things shuffled about her mind. The sound of her child forcing her to remember.

"Just wait Ceres until we're home..." Sky says still overly worried about Ceres' condition.

"I've never seen something like this before" Surion comments after a few minutes, Senti finally letting go of his bonded and hopping down into Ceres's lap tipping his head in curiosity

"I know your voice." Ceres said turning her head to the direction it was coming from. "You are Surion?" She asked as if lost. As if she needed directions. "I've never... In all my years. I feel like some stupid kid all over again." She growled frustrated that she couldn't grasp what was lying at the surface to be remembered.

"Yeah I'm Surion" he confirms her statement "You are in my home at the moment" he adds, he hoped her coming into Waterdeep hadn't effected her memories too

"Surion... I wouldn't be here if it wasn't important." Ceres said still trying to figure things. "Apparently I don't have enough energy to remember what I was doing, or to even try and correct the issues that are hampering my abilities." She didn't like to admit her current weakness. "Come to my island... Once I sort things out. I can help you further, and easier."

"You came cause I asked you to help me with my memories" he sighs and pauses, he felt bad, it felt that her current condition was his fault.

Senti chitters pushing into Ceres's hand with his nose

"Then come to my island and let me help you further." Ceres smiled as she felt the critter. "Hello there. Do you like treats?" She asked as if she had just arrived. "I should have a sandwich in my bag."

Surion nods "All right" he concedes and stands up once more he slips the ring back on as he looks over at Sky giving him a questioning look that said 'she'll be ok... right?'

Senti chitters contently

"She is a strong woman." Sky said with confidence. With Natalia in his arms it took him a moment to stand. After he was up he helped Ceres up. "I'll get your mirror." He smiled, and went to the bed to gather her things.

"Alright then." Ceres said with a smile. "You know me to well Sky." She laughed lightly.

Surion walks over to his cloak grabbing it before slipping it over his shoulders. Senti moving atop his head till Surion's shoulder was available once more. "Come on Kuyl" Surion speaks up to the red dragon a moment after this. The red dragonette lifts himself up and scampers over and up onto Surion's 2nd shoulder

The transition was flawless as if nothing had happened. Except now they were standing in a crowded 'reception' room. It was meant for two people max, and Ceres had been meaning to expand. She just never found the time; unfortunately. "I'm feeling better already." She said as she took a deep breath. "Nothing like an elbow in ones side, and someone stepping on your toes." She chuckled. "Now if you wouldn't mind... Sky, please open the door."

Seven children were crammed into the long narrow hall way. When their mother, Sky, and Natalia had not come home after a simple quick trip to get the mail one started to worry. It was the snow ball effect. Every child knew, and not one was going to settle for second hand news.

Surion couldn't help but feel crammed "And you guys complained MY room was small" he comments as he leans against the wall waiting to be ABLE to move

Ceres cleared her throat. "I never intended this room to be for more than one or two people. I don't typically pick up my visitors."

"I never expected my first time with you to be like this Ceres..." Sky said with colored cheeks. Veteran to mares, but certainly not to humans. He carefully removed his hands from resting on her breast. There wasn't harm as he was holding Natalia. "Yes, door." He cleared his throat and reached behind him.

"Mother!" Perian screeched. "How dare you!" She stamped her hoof, and snorted. "You, you..." She was pissed it was apparent. "You said mail, not... not." She threw her hands up.

Ceres glared at her daughter. "I'm not a little girl... Could we make a little room please." She said as she noticed her seven children in the hall. The chittering was loud as the all tried to over talk the other.

Surion slightly rolls his eyes, he wanted to quit having a foot on his and he hated elbows in his gut.

Kuyl makes a noise and hops off his shoulder landing on one head then the next he wanted to know if there was danger here

"I'm seriously alright." Ceres said to her children with a smile. "I appreciate the concern." As she walked forward she acted as if nothing had happened early.

"You had to bring him didn't you." Cassara snorted as she rolled her eyes. She elbowed her brother. "That's him." She said in hushed tones.

"He doesn't look that bad..." Rhine said louder than intended.

Cassara rolled her eyes. "You lot are all the same."

"CHILDREN, CHILDREN." Ceres called out. "Seriously manors please."

Kuyl eventually deemed it safe enough and returns to Surion's empty shoulder, who waited till there was enough space and then followed after Ceres, he had been looking at the 'children' with the one visible eye

Once each of the children at settled a look over Ceres, and were satisfied they disbursed to their own directions. There wasn't a single child who closed their door.

"Thank You." Ceres said. "I never realized... Sorry about that." She said with a sigh as she headed towards the kitchen. "Are you hungry, or thirsty." She asked as she waved her hand and the cutlery stood at attention, and dishes sprang to life.

Surion glances watching them leave. His attention thereafter returning to Ceres wondering if she was better now. "I'm good, I don't need anything, thanks" he replies as he follows after her

Ceres nodded as she waved her hand again. Everything returned back to a still state. She motioned to the living room. "Then we'll sit in there. There is a telly. But it doesn't' pick up much at all. Your lucky to get past the static. And black and white is horrid." She chuckled. "It is an original."

Surion laughs "I don't have one of those at all where I live" He nods following after her where she motions "So this is your home then?" his eyes were taking in everything around him

"Yes. It is pretty large except the reception room and the hall. Every room can fit at least 12 comfortably. The rooms have king sized beds, comforts, and full sized bathroom."

"Yeah that main entrance is a mite bit rediculas for size" he laughs and finds somewhere to sit "I'm content in the inn, we can move whenever we need to without any issues"

"That is the guest reception." Ceres chuckled as she pointed to the front door. "That is the main entrance. I don't get many visitors, and I don't normally go and get them... So I never saw fit to have a larger room. But, since being pregnant I'm realizing I really should expand it."

Sky laid Natalia on the floor on her blanket. Where she proceeded to search about for her kiwi bird. As well as taking in her surroundings by feeling around. She put the occasional thing in her mouth.

Surion smiles "well I suppose I'm an exception this round aren't I" he laughs and watches her child with a smile

Ceres nods her head. "I seem to be making more and more exceptions as time goes along." She crossed her legs at the ankles and put her hands on her knees. "So, then... Did you have any questions about earlier?"

Surion looks at her and then realizes the woman must have her memories back and is rather relieved "Question? uhmmm not really I guess... You told me much more then I knew before which will help me find more" he replies

Ceres scoots out of the chair, and moves onto the floor to be with Natalia. "Sounds like it was well worth going against my word them."

"Going against your word?" now this statement confused him, he couldn't recall her doing such

"I had to do just that to get that last bit... You didn't want me to know it, but I felt in a way you did.. So I pried." Ceres said softly as she pushed a toy next to Natalia.

"How can I not want you to know something I didn't even know was there?" The look on his face was one of confusion as she explained herself.

Ceres laughed lightly. "Your subconscious..."

Surion scratches his head and then shrugs "All right" he chuckles softly "I didn't even know I was doing it so, don't worry about it."

Ceres nodded her head. "I have nothing else to offer you at the moment. But, you always know how to get a hold of me." She said as she stood up. "But, next time we'll make sure to be here... Not anywhere else."

Surion nods "Perhaps with a few less trampled toes as well" he adds with a grin

Ceres chuckled. "Bringing you here means less complications." She waved her hand towards the kitchen. "Before you go... Something for the road. For them at least." She smiled.

Surion laughs "This is true" he follows after her not knowing where they were going but not worried either

"You didn't have to get up." Ceres chuckled. "I've got enough will to get things done around here while I sit on my rear." She winked as a container floated before them. She took it and handed it to Surion. "A little treat for them. I believe I promised them something."

Both the dragonettes become more interested rather quickly. "Thanks" Surion thanks her as the go after that treat

"Surion..." Ceres said softly as she studied him for a moment. She decided it best to just discontinue that thought. She moved down the hall. "I'll show you out. But, know that anytime you need me all you have to do is knock."

"Understood, thanks Ceres I really do appreciate your help" He smiles and nods

When they were out of earshot from Sky, and tucked into the room she smiled. "I would accompany you, but I do not think it would be wise." It was the first moment since her return home that she let on any indication of knowing that something had happened in helping him. "But, I can assure you that I will be alright... Travel safe."

Surion nods his acknowledgement. "That's ok, thanks again" he follows her to the way home. Her house was odd to him, so he was happy enough to be headed home, besides the fact he had a lot to think about now

Ceres touched the mirror, and within seconds the 'portal' was open, and he was gone. She closed the door behind her, and head back to the living. She had hoped she had helped, rather than harmed. He did seem content enough...

Exploration of the Emerald Haven
Some time passes between his visit with Ceres and when Surion manages to muster up the courage to follow the information given to him by her from what she'd seen in his mind. Even he himself could not remember everything she had said. The scent of potions made some sense to him especially due to the books that had come with him to Faerun, but he couldn't say anything else did. He sat on the chair of his desk turning the powerless Glitchen idly on circles. He had a number of the items that had made their way into Faerun with him sitting on his desk.

"I'm doing it" he says abruptly to himself standing up and moving to his wardrobe, pulling from the piles of clothing one of the pairs of black pants with belts on the legs and a shirt that he's picked up from Durem Depot prior to the night at the No Name Club. He rarely wore the shirts in Faerun, they didnt really fit in but he did like the style and so wore them whenever he plane shifted to the Gaian world. After he'd put those on he grabs his pouch shoving the Glitchen, a round blue disc and a set of keys he'd found among the stuff he had from prior to Faerun into the pounch along with his normal stuff.

"Well... Kuyl.. Senti are you coming with me?" He turns to the pair of dragonettes which were on the bed lazily curled up and had been there most of the day. Once Surion had pulled his cloak on Senti stood and skittered over settling onto his shoulder. Kuyl on the other hand was lazier then his jaguar patterned comrade, standing slowly looking up as if expecting a lift. "Okay okay" Surion scoops up the red dragonette and sets it on his other shoulder, "Lets go" he nods and takes a deep breath. After he'd dropped his concealment ring into his pouch Surion shifts into a forest in Gaia near a park as he often did.

It took him a moment to adjust to the world before he set out, he ignored all his normal spots moving instead to the address he could remember Ceres whispering. After a time he reached his destination, or at least the first part of it. He stands at the end of the long road that he'd not seen the last time he'd walked along this road. "Well to late to turn back now" he muses quietly to Kuyl and Senti and starts to walk along the road, eventually seeing the huge mansion in the distance, but that didnt feel like it was his destination, not by the directions from his own memory as given to him.

As he neared his destination he could hear the water running in the creekbed nearby, the rustling of the trees and soon the house itself came into sight. Surion comes to a stop looking up at the house, it was an amazing home "Wow" he says softly to himself and after a moment he starts walking again, moving to circle the building. Surion navigated the terrain taking in as much as he could. Suddenly there was a rustling sound to his side and he stops turning towards the sound, taking a defensive stance "Who is there?" he asks loudly. There was no reply, but a moment later a second rustle and before Surion knew it he was pinned flat on his back by a rather large dog... if you could call it a dog, with it's three heads which were ALL trying to lick the male's face. "Whoa!" Surion's hands moved to ward off the large heads, Senti however recognized the beast and chittered up a storm directed at the large animal. Kuyl didn't know Cryon and was hissing at the beast, and continued to do so until Surion managed to get the large dog to stop. "I know you don't I..." he asks the beast whose massive tail was wagging happily from side to side. Surion gets back up to his feet "I wish I could remember how I know you though" he tells the animal moving to pet one of the heads with his hand.
'Bonded's pet! Surion's pet! From friend, from friend' Senti chitters at Surion in his mind over and over. Surion nods slowly and then collects the two dragonettes moving to continue, he was closely followed by the beast with three heads.

With the large beast following after him Surion continues to navigate the terrain, the overgrown plants and circles the building. Eventually he winds up to one side of the front door and something metallic catches his eye. Surion is cautious but yet at the same time his curious side draws him nearer the object. "Oh wow" he says when he realizes what in fact he was seeing was a motorcycle, dangling from one handlebar a helmet. His hand runs over the seat brushing the dust and cobwebs away. A flash of a memory briefly fills his mind, a ride along the coast of a lake and he wasn't alone, arms circle about his waist as his passenger holds on tight as the wind whips past. Surion picks up the helmet off the handlebars and turns it over in his hands, there was an obvious feel of an alchemic made item at least to him. After a moment he sets it back and reaches to open a saddlebag, a faded paper and chalk and a few other miscellaneous items fill it, he pulls the paper out and unfolds it only to see an alchemic circle on it. Surion turns it over and seeing nothing more folds the paper setting it back in the bag and closes it. A moment hesitation and he opens the second bag pulling out the only item which appeared to be occupying it, another helmet smaller then the one on the handlebars. He didnt know who it belonged to but obviously not the same person as the other. He sets it back into the bag and closes the bag examining the bike more as he did. Surion thought about it for a time pointedly ignoring Senti's constant chittering in his mind as he reaches into his hip pouch and pulls out the keyring he had brought. Flipping through them he stopped on one that looked different then all the other and then inserts it in the ignition somewhat surprised it fit. He looks around and then, pushing his cloak slightly to one side, he climbs on the bike pulling it upright as he did. "How to do this" he murmurs and sits staring at it while he thinks, he looks over the bike and after some thought turns the key before using the kickstart to bring the machine to life. A smile crosses his lips as he hears the rumble of the motor and a grin when he revs the motor loudly the loud sound of the bike filling the air before he turned it back off once more.

It wasnt much longer after the motor cycle that Surion was standing in front of the door of the house itself, he debated a minute then started trying other keys on the keyring in the lock. Surion found the correct one after about the fifth try and the door swung open silently, dispite the time it'd remained shut the hinge still had plenty of lubrication to not squeek. He steps in not noticing at first the single key that rested on the floor under his feet as the lingering scents of the house hit his keen sense of smell like a ton of bricks, a flood of images coming to him but only breifly. Leaving the door wide open, and the cerebus at the door, Surion unhooks his cloak and sets it over the back of a nearby chair, Kuyl jumps down settling atop of it as he usually did, this trip wasnt really interesting him much and the sound of the bike had left the dragonette a litle rattled. Senti on the other hand was keen to stay with his bonded and settled on Surion's shoulder wrapping his tail around Surion's upper arm as the male moved deeper into the house. His steps were slow and deliberate, he wanted to take everything in, now and then the male thought he heard laughter but found it to be his imagination. Soon Surion finds himself in what appears to be a kitchen and he stops in the doorway. "A late night visitor" he whispers, the sight of a red-coated short male with spikey yellow hair rummaging through cupboards and making a god-awful racket filled his mind. Remembering this little thing brought a smile to Surion's lips even if only for a moment.

Surion continued his walk through the kitchen and back out again, his next turn took him down a flight of stairs, a large still pool of water was near the base. He stops and stoops, his eyes shifting a bright emerald green as he runs his fingers along the surface of the water which proved cold though not icy, rather just room tempurature. This did not bring back anything of significance to his mind and he stood up looking around once more until his eyes landed on a closed door with a lock three quarters up the door. He turned to looking at the keyring he had with him once more flipping through the keys and trying a couple in the lock before he heard the tumblers click and the lock undid. Surion lifted the padlock from the bracket and slowly pushes open the door. A strong lingering scent washes over him from the room as he steps inside, the counters and shelves of the room were covered in various bottles, beakers and other items along with many different sheets of paper with various alchemic circles drawn onto them. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust as he lifted things up, eventually coming upon a few recipes that did not look like they were for the laymen, but their titles gave way to their purpose and just staring at the pages now in his hands a few short memories wash over him, one of a male and himself in a small lab room talking and making these self same potions. Another of wishing he'd taken these same potions while talking to someone on... Glitchen... He reaches idly into the pouch pulling out the machine and opening it looking at the dark screen. Surion stares at the screen for a few minutes thinking and trying to remember before closing it again and sticking it back into his pouch and then folding the recipes and adding them to his pouch as well. His hands run lightly over a few other items in the lab trying to remember using them as his thoughts were telling him this was his place, his room. When the male reaches the door again he looks back at the items and steps out pulling the door shut and re-locking it.

"Quiet Senti.... really, I need to do this on my own, either quiet or wait with Kuyl" he tells his bonded dragonette as he reaches the top of the stairs once more, the dragonette had not shut up from the time that Surion had left the lab till then. Senti pouts at him but obligues and skitters down only to climb atop Surion's cloak with Kuyl. Surion nods and takes a deep breath heading up now to the second floor, the first room he looked into he did not stay long, it was long abandoned and held no things for him to really look at except a couple unmade beds.

It was the second room he entered that brought to him a wave of memories as he steps into what had obviously been an office, a few now empty shelves lining the wall and an obvious gap where a further two shelves had once been. Surion stops at the edge of the messy desk and leans on it closing his eyes remembering first the meeting in this selfsame room with Dragono. Flashes of other memories flooded his mind, not all of the things that had ever happened in that room but some, including writing a letter, to tell someone why he'd be away, but where he was away to he could not recall at this point. Surion opens his eyes and looks around and stands more upright moving around the desk and sitting down in the chair slowly pulling open drawers, most were of no consequence, scrolls of parchment, quills, pens, paper and the like in many, but in the last drawer an item that looked alot like a controller which he lifts up and turns over in his hands "Tez...." he whispers in sudden recognition and he pulls the cord from it and searches for a plug and plugs the CID in, while he waits for this to charge he pulls out a small box it was full of differently designed sprockets and other items that seemed of the same make as the CID sitting atop the desk. He pulled the sprockets out one by one, eleven in total and before he even knew Tez was flying through the air around his head in a rather excited manner. "Hey there old friend" Surion greets the Fandangle remembering the creature which hosted the spirit of the jaguar, seeing the fandangle reminded him of a couple times passed. He couldnt remember how he'd become sick but he did remember the concern and the standing guard Tez did over him when he was young. Surion unplugs the CID and puts it in his pouch and drops the sprockets in as well "Senti is downstairs" he tells the noisy fandangle who zips off at this information.

Surion looked around the office a couple more times before be left the room, his next stop was a bedroom, though obviously not the master bedroom by the fact there was no personal effects of any kind in this room, only a made bed and a small dresser which upon examination proved to be empty. He turns away from the dresser only to be hit with another recollection of the past, a tall brown-haired male with patches of scales standing there in rather... fancy elven garb, he could remember deciding the male needed to loosen up, he couldn't remember who this was, but at the same time knew is was someone related to at least the other occupant of the house at one time. A chuckle escapes his lips remembering using alchemy to change those clothings, his hand lifts and he runs his fingers along the edge of his pendant for a moment as the memory passes. Surion continued on the way down the hall, poking his head in another room but not going in when he saw that it was a bathroom.

It was the last room he came upon which he halted in the doorway of, the master bedroom, some personal effects scattered around the room. Surion licks his lips and steps in, the lingering scents of the room strong to his dragonic senses. He turns intending to skirt the room, to his side a single shelving unit, atop which was a dusty red stuffed animal. He reaches up pulling it down and dusting it off "She gave me this" he whispers looking at it and then holding it close his eyes closed, his minds eye replaying a fuzzy memory of pulling the stuffed toy from a bag and declaring that Tez would be ousted of his roost. Surion stands still for a long time before opening his eyes looking down at the stuffed toy with sad eyes before settling it back on the shelf. He continues his walk around the room before stopping when the light trickling in the window reflects off an item sitting atop an alter, a choker with a small heart pendant he picks it up running his thumb over the shiny surface with it's inlaid jewel. He wordlessly stared at the item and held it up a bit picturing it around a delicate neck and biting his lower lip as he does. Surion feels bad as he begins to remember why it was familiar to him. He uses his free hand and brushes his bangs out of his face so he can look at the item with both eyes before setting it down again where he found it.

The male skirted more of the room stopping in front of the closet, his fingers running lightly over the delicate fabric of the only item that resided in it. He was cursing inside the twisted fate that took him away from everything that he could believe he held dear. Surion didnt move from his spot for several minutes, the gown brought only memories of discussions about how four groups of customs would be merged into one, he looked at the item with sadness in his eyes before turning from it and moving towards the last real thing left in the room, the bed. He sat on the soft fabric of the bed, looking at the folded red and black blanket occupying it's foot "Visha..." he whispers lifting a hand to the crystal that hung around his neck which represented Lo from the customs Dragono had taught him over the year he had been in Faerun before coming back to Gaia for the first time. "Visha, Lo and..." he had to think for a time on the other name that was on the tip of his tongue "Kalika..., Mom's goddess" he finally adds just as quietly. he turns his head raising a brow slightly at the shirt settled neatly atop the right pillow, in a room that was so tidy it seemed almost out of place, he reaches over pulling it towards him the one item settled atop of it falling onto the mattress as he picked the shirt up. Surion holds the shirt up staring at it, and it took a few minutes before he blushed brightly remembering getting caught in a rather awkward position. He sets the shirt down once more and notices the ring. When he picks it up it almost feels as though his heart has stopped and a lump has built solidly in his throat. He could remember almost vividly the making of this item and the presenting of it, "Dear Lo.... why did fate do this to me... to her..." he whispers closing his eyes his fingers wrapped around the ring holding back tears. He doesnt move for what felt like an eternity before setting the ring back atop the shirt. Surion lies down thinking, there were still many many gaps in his memories, but at the same time there were some things that were now very clear. As his head settles onto the pillow the lingering scent of it's user hit his senses and as he stared up towards the ceiling one more piece of the puzzle settles into place, and he remembers a very special day not to very long before the trip that took him to Faerun and changed his life forever.

The male stayed where he lay for a long time before finally sitting up and wiping his eyes. "I am so sorry Nani..." he whispers to noone as he was alone in the room. Surion gets up and fixes the blanket before moving out of the room once more leaving everything as it was. He pulls the door shut and slowly makes his way down the hall moving to go into the office once more. Pulling drawers open he finds a pen and some paper and eventually an envelope and begins to write, he wrote not one, not two, but three pages of a letter before folding it and putting it in the envelope and sealing it shut and writing a single word on the white envelope. He places the leftover paper and pens into the drawer once more and leaves the room heading back downstairs, "Okay guys... time to go" he says making sure he had everything he did not want to leave behind. He puts his cloak back on and the dragonettes find their homes on his shoulders once more. Surion takes a deep breath and heads from the home stopping breifly stooping to pick up the now noticed key which he looked at for a moment and then set on the table next to the door before slipping back outside locking the door shut behind him and dropping his keys back into his pouch. Surion pet the cerebus and smiled but knew the massive creature could not accompany him. He debates for a few more moments and decides he will take the bike with him that was settled around the corner of the building, he could rent a place to store it near the park he always came to Gaia at. With this decision made the male left the house steering towards the manor he'd seen on his way into the Haven...

Delivering a letter
Surion stops the bike in front of the door of the manor leaving it idling as he dismounted the bike and approached the door. He stoops down and slides the letter he had written under the door, he truely hoped she'd find the letter, or at least someone who would give it to her would...

After delivering his letter he looks up at the Haven and then remounts the idling harley and heads into Barton.

Surion sets up a mail bin
Ceres lazily left the bathroom of the Barton post office. The staff was pretty use to her... Although one or two new persons might question how she was always leaving said bathroom, but never entering. She went to the end of the line like any good person would. Even if she had an 'account' with them she didn't have an actual box to receive mail. It was complicated, and she never got into the details about how she received her mail with anyone.

Ahead of her Surion was already talking to a clerk, he didn't want just an account he wanted a mail bin, and it did not have to even be big, but he wanted one that he could access at any time of the day, and this was what he was conveying to the clerk.

Ceres had never seen the line move so slow. She stepped aside to look ahead of her. She couldn't believe the people, and to top it off there were only two clerks and one was very, very occupied. She lifted the rope, and stepped out of line. She smiled politely as she walked back behind the counter. "Hey there Marry." She smiled politely.

Marry looked away from the elderly man she was waiting on as she felt about under the counter. "You couldn't have showed up at a better time." She said as she handed Ceres a name plaque.

"Anytime Marry." Ceres said with a cheerful giggle. "This will mean I will get my mail quicker." She waved her hand under the counter to change the name on the plaque, and then she sat it on the counter.

"No I'm not putting a last name to this and I'll be paying pure gold so please do not be concerned, in fact you'll get a generous tip if you'll leave the name thing alone, thank you" he could be just barely heard from where Ceres was, a few minutes later he was thinking 'finally' to himself as he finished dealing with the rental.

Ceres was able to quickly move the line. She didn't have to move from her spot to find mail, and get it put in the right bend. She could just 'magic' it there so to speak. But she was discreet about it, and worked under the counter. When the line was close to nil she cleared her name form the plaque and stepped from behind the counter.

"I can get my mail now." Ceres chimed happily. Having been busy she hadn't noticed Surion yet.

Surion steps away from the counter, stepping backwards as he worked on hooking his new key to the keyring and not noticing as he backed up into her on accident

"Excuse me!" Ceres blurted out. "You've already gotten your mail." She put her hands on her hips. "Now move out of my way so I can get mine!" She didn't realize it was Surion who had run into her.

"I haven't gotten anything but a key I..." he looks up, normally he would have started with an apology but the abrupt and harsh reaction he had gotten from the person he had bumped into was catching him off guard and putting him on the defensive... he stops talking for a moment recognizing the face "Ceres?"

"Surion." Ceres said in surprise. "I'm so sorry... This place usually isn't this busy. I just wanted my mail." She said softly. She stepped forward so the lady could hand her the bundle and whisper her thanks again.

"I wouldn't know how busy it usually is" he admits sheepishly "I came to rent a mail bin, I wrote Nani a letter and I want a place where she can contact me if she wants... I just came from the house in the Haven lands."

For a moment she was half occupied checking the small stack of mail. "Did it go well?" She asked Surion as she stepped out of the way so that the others could be waited on.

"I don't know yet... It unlocked some memories, and I had a bit of a cry.... I guess how it went will be determined by how Tinania responds if at all" he admits.

"Love troubles?" Ceres asked in a concerned tone, but didn't expect the question to be answer. "In any case I hope things turn around for you. You could just a bit of cheer." She quickly said to prove she wasn't actually trying to pry. She quickly hugged her friend tightly.

"Not sure you can call it love troubles, but I remember more about the past, not everything but enough" he makes a face

"I didn't mean to sound as if I was jumping to conclusions. It was just a guess." She said apologetically. She motioned for the door that led outside. "Shall we..."

"Sure... I'm done here anyways" he drops the keys into his pouch for the moment and then picks up a helmet that was on the counter.

Ceres heads towards the door. Outside she found a bench to sit on. She was fairly exhausted with the use of her magic, and her not being on the island. Her body showed how tired she was. "Everything else alright?"

"Yeah I think so, I'm getting used to riding a bike again, I found it at the house, had the keys with me so I brought it back with me, gotta rent a storage place for it though" he drops onto the bench.

"By bike do you mean bicycle. You know two wheels, little seat, and handlebars." Ceres was doing her best to describe what she knew as a bike from all those years ago. "I've always wanted to ride a bicycle but I never learned..."

"Noo not quite, I mean that," he points at the Harley parked a distance away.

Ceres looks the direction Surion is pointing. Getting a pretty good look, but not enough to cure her curiosity she forces herself to stand. She wobbles for a moment from exhaustion. She uses a tree to steady herself, before walking towards the bike. "This is more like a motor car." She says taking in the details.

"It's a Harley, a motorcycle" he admits following after her.

Ceres usually kept up with most everything that had or was being invented. But as far as transportation was concerned all she kept up with was the creation of the car, and airplane. "Is it hard to use?" She said touching it as if it was fragile.

"Not overly, just have to get used to keeping balance on it" He hooks the helmet on the handlebars watching her actions wondering why she was treating the machine like it would crumble under her touch.

Ceres withdrew her hand from the machine and stood up straight. "I think I still prefer Equines, or other fast moving creatures. Something about moving metal..." She smiled looked at Surion. "I always wondered do machines think for themselves?" She blushed feeling a bit stupid when she normally knew everything.

Surion chuckles "I can understand why you prefer animals" he leans against the bike "As for thinking for itself, unless they are like Tez, I doubt it" both dragonettes recognized the female voice and slip out of the saddlebags skittereing over to to her in search of treats.

"It was silly of me to think that they could think for themselves. After all we haven't really progressed that much." Ceres chuckled to pass off her moment of stupidity.

Ceres' smile brightens when she sees the dragonettes. "You've got me down don't you." She said petting them for a moment with her finger. She opened the bag on her shoulder, and tucked the pile of mail inside. Then she began rummaging. "Must admit... I'm a little off guard today. The bag is entire luck." As she says that she pulls a container out containing a sandwich.

"Well Tez can think for himself, but if I am remembering rightly he has a spirit which inhabits him" he tries to explain the best he can.

The dragonettes chitter at her happily and dont stop their noses pointing in the direction of the closed container in her hands.

Ceres giggles as she watches them despite them being on her shoulder. "I bet you want this." She says in a slightly teasing voice as she slowly sits down. She opens the container, and takes away the bread since she knows they are after the meat.

The volume of their chittering increased as she teased them and Surion just chuckles watching the scene, there were very few people the pair had taken to.

Ceres sat the container on the ground so that the two could easily get to the treat. "There we go." She says gently scratching their heads once more with her finger.

The pair of dragonettes went after it at a rapid speed. Surion laughs and turns his attention instead to his friend "You have quite the reputation with those two."

Ceres glances down at the two watching them enjoy their treat. "It just takes a little patience... That is the key. With it you can get along with most anyone." She smiled softly as she looks to Surion. She didn't want to sound full of herself.

He nods with a smile "Definitely," he pauses "so how is your daughter?" he asks after a moment.

"Natalia is growing like a weed. She walks, talks, and is starting to do things for herself." Ceres' eyes lit up. "She even has brief glimpses were she can see things. She can use her will as I can. But both are things she cannot control, thus it happens generally at random."

He grins, he could tell his friends was very proud of her daughter "Thats awesome, only practice and getting older will make her better I guess?"

Ceres nodded. "Yes, time and practice. And soon... There will come I time when I just won't wake up." She dug around in her bag to find another sandwich container. She knew there wasn't a lot of meat there to satisfy the two of them.

Surion's brow went up at her claim at not waking up, but then even no one stayed waking up till the end of time "Wow.... thats no fun... It'll be a long time before I have to worry about doing that myself."

"By the time Natalia has her mirror and can use it my magic will come to an end... My time will be up, as will Sky's. We have no regrets, no concerns." Ceres smiled cheerfully pushing back the tears. "Let us hope that you have a long while before your times up. You are young, and life has just begun for you..."

"Here we go." Ceres told the two that were hovering over the empty dish. She sat the bread aside and put down more meat for them. "That should fill the both of you up."

"Wow, does that mean you will still be pretty young when you pass?" he ignored the dragonettes more concerned with his discussion with Ceres "As for me I have probably four, five hundred years...."

"I am 450 years old... If you count that as young then I suppose I will die young. Most maidens don't make it past 30 or 40 years of age. Then again most have their children at an early age." Ceres tucked away the containers that only held bread.

"Wow, I would never have thought you were 450 years old" his brows went up, but then even his mom looked young for her age.

"Perhaps my looks can be explain because I only gain a physical year once every 25 earth years." Ceres pulled her hair over her shoulder. "I have lived this long because I have never physically given birth until recently."

"Wow, you are definitely a unique woman" he pushes upright and encourages the dragonettes to get back in the saddle bags.

"Unless you are in a rush they are fine." Ceres says softly still in no hurry to stand up.

"Oh I'm not in any major rush at the moment" he left them be again and leans on the bike. "I think one of the next things I'm going to try and sort out is mom's heritage, someone taught me how to use my Kersallian skills and I don't know who."

"Did your mom forget as much as you?" Ceres asked as she leaned against the tree making herself even more comfortable. "If you need any further assistance all you've got to do is ask."

"Actually she lost more then me, she remembers absolutely nothing of this world, and refuses to return even when I tell her about this place," he sighs as he explains this.

"If she is at peace then let her forget. Let her live out her days as she is know... There must be reasons she wants to not remember." Ceres says as she plays with blades of grass.

"To be honest I really don't know why" he shrugs "She likes another guy out there now I'm not particularly fond of the guy, but mom really likes him so I'll leave it be and just watch him."

Ceres nods. "That is the best thing you can do. Watch and protect her. There may come a day when she wants to know... Then is when you should be there to help her." She smiled. "Surion... I have a question that you might can answer."

Surion raises a single brow "Waht question would that be?" he asks curiously.

Ceres could already feel the heat in her cheeks. This wasn't something she could ask her kids after all she preached enough about it... She didn't really know why when it came to her it was unspeakable. "You're a guy... Do you think I am wrong to not have sex with Sky... I mean I sleep with him just not like that. And I know there isn't a lot of time left in life."

Surion's brow went even higher "Don't ask me that one," he laughs. "I honestly cannot tell you the answer."

"It is the one thing that scares me. Not the person, just the..." She fidgeted with the ends of her hair. She was very nervous over this subject. "I guess I'll never know."

He laughs, "I wish i could tell you it's the best thing in the world, but I still don't remember everything."

"Understandable. Sorry if I made you uncomfortable... I just thought maybe you could help me out." Ceres grew even redder. "That doesn't sound right... But you know what I mean." She smiles as a yawn escapes her.

"Nah not uncomfortable, just caught off guard," he chuckles seeing her blush.

Ceres doesn't directly look at them, but she continues to smile. "I should be getting back, or they'll all be wondering what happened to mother... Makes you really wonder who's the parent." She chuckled, as she pushed herself to stand.

He laughs. "All right then, I need to run more errands anyways," he pulls his helmet on which caused the two dragonettes to move back onto the bike. "Was great to see you again," mounting and uprighting the bike just sitting on it and watching her.

"It was a pleasure to see you again." Ceres said as she shouldered her bag. She took a moment to dig around in it before she closed it. "A treat for the road, or for later... In case you don't get home anytime soon." She says giving him the sandwich box before she waists no time disappearing as if she was never there to begin with.

A Dragon Should Never Forget ~ 1
Surion had set up the post box, he'd found a storage place for his bike when he was not in Gaia, and each day he plane shifted back, every day he unlocked the storage unit riding the bike to the mail box checking it before running around running errands, one of which including finding out how to power up the glitchen again as the battery had been long dead. He hadn't booted the little computer up since that point though, he'd just been too busy doing everything else.

This day was no different as the male hooked the cloak he wore on a nail on the wall inside the storage unit, both dragons deciding his saddlebags were perfect riding spots for them before he started the bike and headed for Barton to once again check his mail. He wore a black t-shirt with short sleeves and black jeans that he had purchased a while back. His features were visible and he had his pouch resting on his hip as usual. The scars on his arms were perfectly visible, he'd long since stopped hiding them having forgotten why he even hid them or where he got them to begin with.

With her head hung low, Tinania glances up as she heard someone enter. Only to see the very person she was waiting for. Her curly hair was pulled back in a ponytail to keep it out of her face. Dressed in strapless white dress that went down to mid thigh, with a white sweater over her arms to cover them. She look like an angel, if a person didn't take a double glace at her.

With the right heel resting against the wall, she pushes off of it before she turns to look at Surion. In her left hand was the letter "I found this at my mother's home...." looking up at Surion, her bottom lip trembles before she shakes her head "Why...why did you write this...?"

Her wings flutter only alittle behind her, as her aqua green eyes look up to find his. She had to know, what if she did make this mistake.

Surion lifts his head in surprise, he had been flipping through his keys to find the one for the box, he had NOT expected to find, not the letter, but her in the post office "Nani!..." he starts obviously startled, he hears her question and sees what she's holding his hand idling putting hte keys back in his pouch without looking at it. "I felt I owed you an explaination, and an apology. I did find out things I didnt know or rather that I didn't remember when I went to the house... It just showed me how much you meant to me." he stops in front of her though not too close to give her a respectable amount of personal space. His eyes looked over her for a moment, she did look beautiful, but at that moment it wasn't the appropriate moment to tell her this.

Tinania looks away before she sighs "Just when I think I can finally move on, you pop back into my life. A piece of the heart, that just refuses to mend." closing her eyes, she chews on her bottom lip before she opens her eyes once again "So how much do you remember, about us?" she figured he must have remembered enough, it caused him to write this letter to her.

She was a whirlwind of emotions right now. Blending from pain, anger, happiness, to sadness. She didn't understand at all, and she just needed answers. She knew the only way she was going to get them, was through the man she thought left her life so long ago.

"I wish I could tell you I remember every tiny little detail, I honestly wish I could, Most of the gaps now are from when I was younger. I remember that I had to visit someone to make potions to control certain things, I remember talking to you on this..." he reaches in his pouch and pulls out the small Glitchen "and blushing while doing so. I remember riding along the lake with you on the bike... I remember writting you a letter when I had to go away somewhere and not wanting you to come back from somewhere and think I'd left, I believe thats quite a bit earlier then Faerun though. I remember going somewhere with a male and us, and using alchemy to make his clothing more ... casual... I remember having a fight and giving you a pendant, I remember making a ring and proposing to you... and I remember a very special valentines day" he tried to recall everything, sure he may have missed something.

Tinania listen to Surion, hearing every memory as if it was her own. Glitchen, Damien, her ring. It was all bringing tears to her eyes, as she remembered how happy she was. Shaking her head, she looks down at ground as she drops the letter "Do you even know....how much it hurts to stand here. Knowing you not only left me, but now you left with me memories that you barely remember yourself? That its tearing me apart, that you can't even remember how much you really did love me?" looking up at him, her eyes darken as she smacks her hand against the wall.

"Why....why did you not try to find your way back to me? You promise me you would never allow anything to set us apart."

"Who says I didn't try to find a way to return to a land that felt it had an important draw to me. And what kept bringing me back once Drag managed to find a way around the magical problem that kept me there. I may not remember everything Nani, but I remember enough to know you meant a lot to me, I remember calling you Melamin and I remember what it means and I know I would not have called anyone beloved if I didnt mean it. There has been females that I could tell were looking me over in SkullPort and yet I didnt want any of them." He looked absolutely crushed that he had hurt her this much, he felt deep inside that he wanted to make it all up to her... but he didnt know how, or that she'd even want him to.

Shaking her head she nearly broke at the elven words for beloved "Your not allowed to say that word to me....Not right now.." looking back up at him, she actually bridges the gap between the, as she smacks at his chest hard "I hate you so much right now. You left me alone, and I couldn't do anything...." she was shaking as she continues to hit his chest. She didn't bother to hide her tears, she needed to let them go.

All this anger, this emotion she kept down. She finally let it go, and she started crying against his shirt, her face buried against the fabric "I wanted you to come back to me, just to tell me you were alive. When you didn't...I thought you were dead."

He let her, he didnt stop her from hitting him, if she felt she needed to hit him to express just how much he'd hurt her he felt he deserved it. Once she stopped and just started to lean against him he slowly wraps his arms around her shoulders "I am so very very sorry Nani" he whispers softly but loud enough that she'd hear him. He just holds her gently holding back tears, she deserved to cry far more then he did. He closes his eyes remembering many many times he had held her in the past.

Feeling his arms wrap around her shoulder, Tinania actually shakes her head "Why am I doing this..." taking a step away from him, she looks up at him "I'm suppose to be happy right now. I have a adopted son. And guy who loves me. But I am here with you, when I shouldn't be." trembling, her wings flutter as she hiccups "I'm not suppose to care fro you anymore, but...I still do. But I can't allow this to happen...I have to let you go..."

Saying it was simple, but she knew n her heart. That was so much harder to prove right now. She was tearing herself up, all over this whole mess.

Surion lets his hands drop, his hold. He wasn't going to force anything on anyone, it wasn't his nature. "I understand... I was gone for a long time... I cannot expect to walk into the life of another and pick up right where I left off, I knew this when I wrote that letter, I knew that I couldn't expect anything at all." he stops talking, his eyes watching her

Tinania closes her eyes, holding her breath for a moment. Looking back up at Surion, she takes a step towards him again, her hand lifting to brush along his cheek "You changed so much, you use to fight anyone who would try to take me from you." moving her hand down, she brushes it along his bottom lip. "Your not the same man I remember.."

But at the same time, she knew it was him, even just standing there. She was relaxed like always. Her heart was at ease around him, even though she felt so lost right now.

"Nani, if I thought I had a chance I would fight it, I don't even know who my competitor is... " he purrs softly almost unnoticably feeling her soft touch.. he was silent for a moment a sudden recollection hitting him "I beleive at one point I waited for you before, hoping... praying I would have a chance... Feels the same like that now..." He stops talking "but even if I don't have that chance I would still like to at least be your friend..." he bites his lip wishing he hadn't had to put it that way but he did

Tinania actually chuckles from the purring "Fluttering stomach, feeling like your going to be sick. But in a good way? I remember that feeling..." pulling her hand back slowly, she looks down for a moment, only to shakes her head "I honestly don't know what we can be Dragon Boy. I know way to much about you, and soon it will be the same with you. How can we go back...to just friends? When you an I know, that it..." swallowing the last few words, she takes a step back, then turns.

"I really shouldn't be here Surion....but I can't leave...not knowing..." wrapping her arms around her waist, she wrinkles her nose up before tapping her foot on the ground. A move she did often around those who knew her, when she just couldn't solve a problem.

He nods knowing just what that feeling was like it was just exactly it. he watches her and then reaches and puts his left hand on her right shoulder "Nani... Can you honestly say you don't want to even not be even just friends? After all you came here after reading my letter, you could have torn it up, burned it, even not come at all." he gently moves his arm trying to get her to face him again. His eyes searched her "There is something you need to know, something you either want to ask... or do... so what is it?"

Tinania didn't even speak another word, with what he asked. She just simply looks to his lips, then up at him "Dear Visha, this is going to get me into so much trouble...your going to get me into so much trouble....but I have to know..." taking a step towards Surion, her wings unfold just as she lifts alittle off the ground.

Running her hand through his hair, she looks over his face then back at his lips again. Her heart was beating way to fast against her ribs.

He could see what her eyes were looking at, he could feel his heart beating as she drew closer not in such an upset state. His hand which had been resting on her shoulder moved closer to her cheek softly brushing against her neck. He too did not say a word, but he did something he doubted she would expect.. knowing if she didn't want it she would push away... He presses his lips against hers, giving her a kiss, it wasn't jsut a friendly kiss, it wasn't forceful, but it was one that he hoped would convey everything that he could remember

Tinania didn't pull away, instead, her other arm wraps around his neck as she pulls herself closer to him. Tears running down her face as she return a kiss that should have been simple, but it wasn't. Not by a long shot, it was filled with so many emotions, that should have been tossed away a year ago. Yet with a simple kiss, it sparks them back to life, almost like things had never changed.

Pulling back from the kiss, Tinania eyes open slowly only to reveal with a mixture of green and blue. The hand in his hair, tightens it grip as she parts her lips. She couldn't even if she dared try to.

He wasn't sure if he should admit it aloud or not but he was glad she hadn't pushed him away. His eyes open as the kiss ends and he licks his lips before taking a semi deep breath. He stared into her eyes "I see... the remanants of an imp, that led to many ... adventurous nights" he says softly and smiles. He moves his thumb of his hand on her cheek to brush away a few stray tears, as he moved to place his hand lightly where it had been he didnt even realize right away that his thumb that had brushed a tear away was tracing briefly along where her now-gone marking had been before coming to a stop as he watches her eyes

Closing her eyes, Tinania smiles before opening them again. They were once again aqua as she stares up into his blue eyes "I took control of her a long time ago, she no longer comes out unless I wish her to." tilting her head towards his hand, she takes a deep breath before shaking her head. The hand in his hair, move to rest on his neck before she gently massages at his shoulder.

She didn't want to honestly move, but apart of her knew she had to. She was so torn at this point, she didn't know at all what her heart wanted "Surion....the night I was brought back, after my attack. Do you remember what you said to me?"

He had to think for a little bit "I remember some things from that time.. I remember ... I remember you didn't remember things..." he spoke slowly digging through bits and pieces of his own fragmented memories "I remember wishing I had your ability to wish for something and..." he pauses "and have it come true..." he thinks but doesnt move from where he stood at all "I remember laying down with you, you asking me to stay and me saying .. always... " his eyes open quickly looking into hers "The letter I wrote.. the letter was me telling you I'd gone to a war!... Me not wanting you to think I was gone... " he was hoping he was remembering what she meant as he was beginning to remember more as she asked him if he did.

Tinania smiles alittle before she leans in close "If there was one thing you could wish for right now? What would it be....?" moving her other hand, she wraps it also around his neck. Her head was tilted to the side, as her wings flutter alittle.

He was on the right track, and she was hoping he would get it right. Like Surion, she grown alittle. But in powers, not age.

"If I could make just one wish, it would be to turn the clock back, and never agree to go to Faerun with Dragono... So that what happened never would have, I wouldn't have hurt you, and everything would be as it was" he replies his eyes echoing his sincerity of his words

Tinania blinks before she actually smiles, the smile she always did when he was around her "Good answer Dragon Boy." leaning up, she brushes a kiss against his lips again, before she steps away from him. Turning away, she moves towards the door only to pause. Looking back towards him, she just watches him, her eyes held a familiar look in them, yet at the same time they were different.

He smiles hearing the nickname she'd give him. He let her pull away but follows her a moment after she'd gotten to the door, the only one who knew he had a mail bin there was her and Ceres, but she was the only one he hoped for something from... so he wasnt bothering to check it.

Resting back against the door, she looks out toward the bike, then blinks actually surprised to see it sitting there. Looking back up at him, she chews on her bottom lip for a moment before closing her eyes "So.....Surion....what now...I mean....." she just wanted to figure this out, and the kiss only made things even more confusing for her at this point.

Why did this have to happen to her?

He follows her gaze and blinks, how did he not notice the car the bike was parked near, a small grin gracing his lips for a moment recognizing it from the valentines memory and then looks back to her "I suppose thats mainly up to you, you keep saying you shouldn't be here and yet you are. If given the chance I would make the attempt to go back to the way it was, I was serious when I told you the one thing I would wish for if I had your abilities. But then that would change alot of the now outside of just us" he pauses a moment and then gives a semi-silly and mischevious grin "But then I would just find an excuse to do it anyways if the option was there... call me selfish... but from what I can remember... I loved my life... and you"

Tinania looks down at the ground, before she chuckles. Her eyes falling close as she lifts her head again. She so much wanted to take that chance again, but her mind kept going back to her son, and Lucas. Swallowing, she looks up at Surion again, but this time her eyes were almost dark green.

Lifting her hand, she tugs on the collar of his shirt. Pulling him color to her, she lays one banging kiss on him. Her other hand moving to rest on waist as she pulls him even closer to her body.

No thought, no emotions. She just had to live in the here and now, and when it was right. Step away and not look back, but at this point she didn't want to.

It was Nani's turn to surprise Surion, but he made no hesitation to kiss her back just as firmly. He knew the green, he could feel it inside, and she knew all the right buttons to push... and was doing a damn good job at it. He wraps his arms around her waist holding her, she'd be able to feel his heartbeat, as he could feel hers.

Pulling back from the kiss, she pants as she rest her head against his own. Her eyes remain close as a smile forms across her lips. If that kiss didn't entice her to do more, nothing else ever will. Fingers kneading into his side she opens her eyes slowly "Surion..."

Surion takes deep breaths catching his breath. He didn't open his eyes or move, he kept his hold on her even has her voice graced his ears "Yes?" he asks in reply, her scent was even more familiar now then it had been since he had returned to Gaia.

Closing her eyes again, she was trembling alittle as she grip tightens even more on his side. She had too much to say, she just didn't know how to say it. She wasn't use to be the one to answer everything, as Surion was always the one that acted first. But she had to keep reminding herself, he wasn't the same anymore.

Lifting her hand, she gentle brushes it over his right horn. Her eyes open to look up at his face, seeing if he would react like he use to around her when she did this.

She'd already been pushing his buttons, which had him controlling himself, his eyes open moments before her fingers find the horn atop his head. He looked like he was about to say something but instead the words that escapped his lips were "Oh Vishaa....." as he looks down into her eyes and kisses her again, the fingers of one hand on her waist moving and brushing one of her wings. He'd long since not taken any potions and he felt her touch quite accutely

Laughing against his lips, she pulls back only to flutter her wings. She learn long ago, how to ignore the touch to her wings. Her son Seiji had solved that problem for her. Shaking her head, she runs her fingers through his hair "Well your body remembers me, that much is for certain.." moving her hand to his neck, she massages it slowly.

By the goddess, if she didn't just want to take a chance right now. But if she was wrong, then it would be hung between them forever, she knew this.

He had to say it now, she deserved to hear it, the thought he'd held back since he'd first seen her standing in the post office "You, are beautiful... you know that?" he says quietly, he was searching her eyes, hoping and wishing and praying... She kept stirring small memories in his mind.

Shaking her head, she actually blushes before laughing "I am not." looking away, she keeps a smile on her face as she looks down at the ground. This was a dangerous thing, yet it felt right. Closing her eyes an image of Lucas holding Seiji appears before she frowns.

Looking back up at Surion, her lips parted as she licks on her bottom lip.

"Yes you are, you always have been, every little thing I remember tells me that... Am I remembering rightly I once tried a rather cheesy pickup line on you?" he asks her. He wasnt sure why she frowned but didnt want to ask either

Chuckle she shakes her head before she looks up at him "If you say so, and yes you did use the most cheesiest pickup line on me. Made me laugh so hard.." looking back down at the ground, she blinks when she see the ring still on his hand. Reaching for his hand, her jaw drops alittle before she looks back up at him.

She couldn't say another word, her eyes just remain focus on the ring. He couldn't believe he was still wearing it, after all this time. Although she should be scared, she wasn't. It actually made her feel warm inside.

Surion chuckles softly hearing her confirm his memory, "something about heaven I think...." he stops talking as her hands take hold of his right hand the sun reflecting off the ring she was staring at "Yes I still wear it... It has reminded me for the whole time there was something drawing me back, and after you confirmed what it was a few weeks ago, it reminded me I had someone that I owed it to to remember my past. I think it was the main thing that always reminded me when I couldn't remember anything, made me pester Drag whether or not he'd solved the problem" he tells her softly.

Blinking a few times, Tinania looks back at Surion before nodding "I see.." she didn't know what else to say. She no longer wore her ring, in fact she left it back at their home when she left it for good. Letting her hand slip away from his, she rest it on the door once again. Tilting her head back, she looks up for a moment "I don't know what to do Surion...."

Surion nods taking a deep breath, his right hand moving from where she'd let go of it and raises moving a stray hair that either had escaped her ponytail or just never was in it out of her face "Nothing is going to make me stop seaking out my past, you've even stirred more trapped memories just in the time we've been here... " he pauses and watches her "You are a special person Nani..."

Tinania nods before she looks up at him "I could bring your memories to you, right now. Problem is, if I did....would you still be willing to let me walk away from you?" chewing on her bottom lip, she watches her face looking for any sign of what was going on inside that mind of his.

She use to be able to read him so well, but now she had no clue what to think.

Surion takes a deep breath, and licks his lips before replying "I dont know if I would or not, I miss stability in my life. There hasn't been any in so long." Just the time he'd had with her here made him realize just how much of his life had been devoted to her, even in Faerun.

Tinania looks down at the ground again, she taking a deep breath of her own "I think I moved on Surion..." why did she say think? That sightly startled her "I have a adopted son by the name of Seiji. And I have an awesome guy in my life...his name is Lucas..." pausing again, she looks back up at him "And they both me alot to me...." if they did then why was she standing here with Surion. It just didn't make any sense to her right now.

He closes his eyes for a moment hearing her words, "I think one of the last things I remember, that was a topic for us..." his hand fists against his side hitting the side of his leg "I wish I had my life back, the rest of what I don't remember...." he opens his eyes but is looking up as he whispers two more words very very quietly "and you" although he was starting to wonder if any of that would ever happen, if he should fight for it, or let her go... he really didn't know

Tinania heard every word he spoke, except the last two. Her eyes fell close as she held her hands over her chest. A faint pink light forms around her body as she folds her wings behind her back. Opening her eyes, they were a deep emerald green as she opens her hand. A large ball of glowing light floats above her hands before it flies out of her hand, embedding itself into his chest.

The glowing light wraps itself not only wrap Surion's heart, but his soul while it is at it. Every locked memory is unleash in one fold, swarming his mind as it helps him remember everything he once was, and who he should be.

Dropping to the ground, Tinania labors in her breathing as she rest her hands on the ground. Her wings seem almost dull, but very slowly the color was coming back to them. She had only use a small amount of her magic at the moment, so it didn't cause as much damage as the last wish had.

She felt a shift within her own soul, something was different. And it scared her, she seen him mouth something, but what she didn't know.

Surion looks down sensing the light, his eyes widen as her hands move and the light enters him. He almost saw nothing at all as his mind was flooded over with memories, everything, no rock left unturned, his childhood, his parents, his friends, her, everything.

In the time this happened, the small jaguar patterned dragonette had been watching and he skitters out of the saddlebag over to the pair, but instead of Surion, he moves into her lap

When the flood slowed he looked down at her, somewhat in shock but yet not. He moved to her level and looked at her, breathing deeply he wanted to help, to help her energy, he still didnt speak, in fact the only noise was the dragonette chittering

Tinania kept breath hard before she chuckles looking down at Senti "I'm alright my friend.." carefully lifting her trembling hand, she runs it over the top of his head. She was lying, and she knew it. Something wasn't right, not with the way she felt the shift. But she didn't dare look up just yet, she had to get herself back together first.

Surion watches her "Nani... you just gave it all back to me... didn't you" he asks softly ignoring the chittering of the dragon in his head. He reaches to brush her bangs from her face, this simple touch giving her some of his energy.

The dragonette stayed where he was in her lap watching her and chittering still

Tinania nods slowly as she looks up at Surion "Yes I did, just like you asked...." shaking her head she feels the energy flowing out of his hand "You don't have to do that, I will be fine in a matter of seconds.." what she said was true, as she stood slowly holding Senti in her arms.

After a moment, she carefully place the dragonette back onto Surion's shoulder where it belongs. Her eyes sparing a glance into his before she looks away "I should be going, Seiji is probably missing me by now. And probably giving Lucas a hard time."

Just like he asked, he swallows moving to stand when she did... He didn't say anything for a moment He didn't know if she'd even heard everything he'd wanted... asked... "You've said you should be going all the time you've been here... " he licks his lips listening to her words and hearing the name of the male, he wanted to know if she actually had given it all back. He hesitated only a moment before doing the thing he wanted at least one more time before she would leave... He moves a hand to turn her head back and kisses her, it was filled with all the passion she'd unlocked within him.

Senti chitters, wrapping his tail around Surion's upper arm growing silent as Surion moves to kiss

Tinania struggles for a moment, like she always did in the past before relaxing. Her lips move under his, as she steps closer to him. Her arms going around his waist as she actually purrs. Her wings unfold as she moves one hand, to run it up through his hair.

Her body came alive, that old spark shattered through all the walls she put up against the very man standing before her.

He could remember his past, he could remember his present, and he was thanking the gods he believed in that he could again. He wraps his arms around her as he felt her grip. He wanted to know where they stood, but was so scared to ask.... He would just wait, at the moment he really did not want to move away from the kiss

Pulling back from the kiss, she kept her eyes close for a moment as she tries to think. Her heart was beating so hard, she could hear it actually in her ears. Licking at her now dry lips, she opens her eyes slowly to look up at Surion "You mouthed something when you made that wish. Surion what was that last part you wished?"

Surion opens his eyes looking the short distance into her eyes listening to her question. He could feel her heart "you" he replies quietly, he had to answer her honestly

Tensing she pulls away from him as she shakes her head "Surion...why? Why did you bond me to you?" swallowing, she hiccups as she steps pass him, her body trembling "I'm with Lucas, and I have a son...." even as she said this, her body was growing cold just from not being next to him.

What had he done to her? Why was she scared to leave his sight, or go back to Lucas?

"I didnt expect you to grant me what I had said, I didn't expect you to use your powers to grant what I had said." He bites his lip and turns his body as she moved "I know you have someone, I know you have a adopted child, this isn't info I am pushing aside lightly..." He really didn't know what to do or say now

Shaking her head, she was shaking badly now as she steps out of the building "I need to go...I have to..." looking back, her eyes shift in color only for a moment. Chewing on her bottom lip, she makes her way to her car, only to pause as she goes to pull the car door open.

Damnnit this was hard, she didn't want to leave him...

"Nani..." he was torn, he didn't know if he had made a mistake or not... Everything inside him said no, but part of him said he did, after all she had Lucas, she had a child... and he'd been gone so long. He followed her but stopped at the bumper of her car.

Tinania just continue to stand there, looking down at her car "The first time I saw you, I swore you were a ghost. Coming back to torture me for something I did wrong. Maybe you still are, trying to torture me soul because it still loves you. I still love you, but I can't do this Surion. Not after everything that has happen." looking up she eyes glisten as she swallows "I no longer live at Emerald Haven, or even our own home as you can tell. I have a estate I must watch over. A son..." pulling out a picture, she place it on the car.

Seiji was also a dragon child, just like Surion. In fact he could have been Surion son if anyone were to look at them both "This will confuse him to much, he loves Lucas..." although she never said that she love him herself.

Looking back down she closes her eyes "Surion...you have to let me go..." those had to be the hardest words for her to speak. And even after speaking them, she wanted nothing more but to take them back.

Surion looks at the picture picking it up, somehow he wasnt's surprised it had the dragonic heritage it appeared to have, he always did wonder what a child they might have had would look like. He moves towards her and holds the picture back out to her, he was beginning to regret his wish, her child meant so much to her. "I don't know how Nani.. I honestly dont... Now moreso then before, how do you let the one that holds every bit of your heart captive go?" His words were quiet, he was doing everything in his power to hold back his own tears, he did not want her to see him cry, he knew it would make this situation even harder then it already was... for both of them.

This was killing her inside, and she could tell it was hurting him. Turning towards him, she wraps her arms around his waist as she buries her face against his chest "I love you, I always have..." shaking her head she looks up at him, the tears rolling down her cheeks "I still want you in my life Surion, but you have to let me have time to heal. You leaving me, nearly destroyed me. And although I want to just forget that, I can't.." lifting her hand, she runs it over his cheek as she attempts a smile for him.

Leaning up, she brushes a small kiss against his lips. It wasn't a goodbye, just a simple kiss that meant so much more then she could tell him right now.

He nods slowly listening to her words as she spoke. "I love you too Nani... you have no idea how much I regret talking to dragono, for bringing him to our home, and accepting his request to meet his friend." It was teh first time he'd said those specific words to her since she'd returned his memories 'I love you' and as hard as Surion was trying he couldn't keep a couple tears from forming which he used a single hand to wipe away quickly hoping she wouldnt see as he held her while she cried against him. "Letting you heal, letting your heart heal from the pain I caused, is a far easier thing to do then to completely let you go... " his words interupted as her lips met his and he returned the kiss.

A Dragon Should Never Forget ~ 2
Tinania broke the kiss only to rest her forehead against Surion's own forehead. Her body was trembling badly, but because she was hurting far to much inside right now. Taking a deep breath, she left her hand resting against his cheek.

Eyes falling close, she shakes her head alittle "Why can't I just take the next step...and walk away...?"

"I would say probably the same reason I kept coming back after I could, the same reason I waited for you as a kid when I saw those pictures on your computer..." He pauses just holding her silently for a few minutes before continuing "Are you sure our mothers didn't use magic when they played matchmakers?" he asks softly in a level voice, he wasn't teasing, but he also would not have put it past either of their mothers.

Shaking her head Tinania chuckles before she looks up at him "My mother wouldn't have, she not that mean. Even if she has the blood of a bad wizard running through her." looking back down, she chews on her bottom lip for a moment as she thought of his word. She knew why he kept coming back to her, but she was trying not to think of it like that.

No, she couldn't allow this to happen. Not again, she wouldn't be able to handle it. And she had Lucas and Seiji.

Feeling her move her head away he opens his eyes and looks down at her "I doubt mom even has that kind of magic... my mom at least..." Surion watches for a time "What are you thinking?" he asks softly "I know you are thinking about something, you always chew on your lip like that when you are"

Looking up, Tinania blushes before she looks away "Nothing really, I promise." she knew that was a lie, but how could she tell him she was second guessing herself?

Taking a step out of his arms, she bumps rack into the car. Resting back against it, she leans back on her elbows as she looks up at the sky. All she had to do was get into the car. So simple.

"You either are fibbing... or you changed your habits" he muses his hands sliding away from their hold. He did not step away from her at all. He was watching her for a time. "So, if you arent thinking about something... Whats on your mind then?" he asks and rubs his upper arm, over the scars that were visible

Tinania looks away before she closes her eyes. She didn't speak at all, after all how was she suppose to tell him that he was on her mind. With a sigh, she lays back on the hood of her car. She was cursing herself for her powers, and him for making the wish.

Not getting any reply to his question Surion moves away a bit and then sits on the corner of the hood, one foot up on the bumper. His eyes drifted to the bike for a moment, he really wasn't sure what to say next without a reply to his question

Opening her eyes she glances over at Surion. Sliding off the car, she moves around him "I was thinking of you, being with you again. And I will let you decide what I mean by that." pulling out her keys, she pops the car door open. Looking back towards Surion, there was something in her eyes but it was hidden really well.

"I really should be going...."

He looks up as he hears her speak, blinking and then nodding before pushing away from the hood of her car. "Nani... " he walks over to her stopping her from climbing in at least for a moment giving her cheek a soft kiss before speaking "Know that I am sorry I did anything that hurt you, if there was a way to undo it all I would... I will wait for you, I know you need time to heal... Hopefully there a chance at starting over some time, you can always contact me here through my mail bin, I'm sure to be in Gaia even more... I still hope for a reason to move back full time... Just know that no matter what... I love you" he pauses "I know you have to head out, but please... I won't disappear again, so I'm praying you won't either..." He backs up a step so she is capable of closing her car door again

Tinania lifts her hand to brush her cheek before looking back at Surion "I'll never leave, this is my home. Just like it should be yours, as it was before.." turning away from him, she climbs into the drivers seat only to sit there for a moment. Her eyes looking at the wheel. Shaking her head, she chews on her bottom lip again for a moment.

Why couldn't he just tell her he didn't want her to leave. Take her, then she would struggle like always. With a sigh, she turns the car over. The rumble from the engine hiding the sniffle as a single tear fell again.

"Oh screw it" he says suddenly his keen draconic hearing picking up both sounds, hoping she wouldnt put it into gear as he did this he leans over the door moving a hand to turn her head towards him and gives her a kiss that topped all others that he'd given her yet that day

Tinania blinks as she struggles to not move the car thanks to the kiss. Pulling back she looks up at Surion slightly in shock "Are you trying to get us both killed?" her cheeks were hot, as the blush rose to her skin.

Damn him, she was close to just leaving before he kissed her.

"Killed no, but... I cant just let you drive away, not without you knowing that by Visha... I'll be damned if you don't know that that you cannot give your heart to two people, and I know you gave me yours a very long time ago, just as you hold mine. Nothing about that will ever change... I've always accepted everything about you, all the familiars you've had, all the friends, everything, it was my pleasure ... I don't know why you might think I wouldnt accept yet another addition to that crowd, no matter how they are related to you" he was holding the car door

Tinania looks away from Surion before she shakes her head "It won't work, Lucas, he my lover. Just as I am his, and I don't think he the type to share.." looking up at Surion, she looks back to his lips before looking away again "Please Surion..." she was trembling, and her voice was a whisper.

"Seiji is his adopted son also, and I don't see him willing to give that up..."

"Your lover, but is he your beloved, do you love him, can you honestly say that you have given your heart to him fully and unquestioningly. Tell me that Nani... don't lie, please... tell me an honest answer. There is a huge difference between those two things..." He stares at her trying to see into her eyes as much as possible, everything he remembered of their relationship had told him he had never been one to share either.

Tinania looks away, her wings fluttering as she looks down at the wheel again. Shaking her head, she licks her bottom lip "I need to go Surion, please..." she couldn't answer him, and she refused to allow him to know the answer. Sadly she wasn't even sure herself, before she did love Lucas. Now she was confused as ever, how could she love two people?

It wasn't right and she knew it.

He stood upright "I don't understand why you can't answer that... You know your heart better then anyone.. just as I know mine.... And I know you have mine, unquestioningly, completely, and without any restriction." he tells her just loud enough that she could hear him over the engine, he let his hand drop from the door.

Tinania sits there for a moment, before she turns off the engine "I'm torn, you happy. I am torn right in half. I love Lucas, but I love you also. But I can't have the both of you. Even you know this as well as I do." smacking her hand against the wheel a few times, she leans her head back "You think if I already knew what my heart wanted, I wouldn't have acted on it? Damnnit Surion, its not suppose to be like this!"

"No, I'm not happy, but at least you are being honest with me, and thats what I wanted." He pauses and watches her "Nani, you are right it's not, I wasn't supposed to vanish on you, I wasn't supposed to lose my memories, I wasn't even supposed to be gone longer then the time it took you to get off from work the day after you saw me before I disappeared... Hell we were supposed to be married a year ago... So you are completely correct it isn't supposed to be this way, life wasn't supposed to be unfair to either of us and it has been." nothing about his voice was anything but just scared of what his future now held, not harsh in any way.

Tinania kept quiet for a moment, before her eyes widen at his word of marriage. His people, the song that night. Looking towards Surion, she bites down hard on her life as she bites back a swear. It would mean in his peoples eyes she was still married to him "Surion...I need you to just let me go...please...Forget that I was ever here. Go back to your new home.."

Please, in all that is good don't let him call her out on his peoples vows. She wouldn't be able to turn away. She knew it.

"You give me back everything that I am, and was and you ask me to let you go and forget it all? I dont know how, I don't know that I could. How can I call Faerun home, after everything that has happened today? You told me this should still be my home, my home had a mate... It had life in it..." his words were soft, he truely did love her, and he didn't WANT her to leave him at all... As much as he knew she'd have to go back to her son at some point

Tinania whimpers before she shakes her head "I need you to let me go Surion, please. I am begging you, if you love me you will." please don't remember that one piece that could keep me here for good. Looking away from him, she turns on the engine again.

She had to just get away, then he would leave. This whole thing would be over.

Surion stares at her and hears her whimper "I'll let ya head out, go back to that new Haven you live at, but Nani I can never let my heart let you go, one mate, for all my life, the ways of my people as I remember them... both mom's side... and dad's... I love you more then I can ever say in words to you, you are my Melamin for now and for ever. Remember that, while you sort out your own heart...." He doesnt move away from where he stood, though if she REALLY wanted to pull away she'd not roll over his toes.

Tinania closes her eyes taking a deep breath, without saying so much as goodbye she pulls out of the driveway. She didn't look back at him at all as she moves down the street heading back towards the end of Barton. She had to get ahold of herself, she didn't need to explain what was going on to Lucas.

Not yet, it would be far to soon and she knew it would cause nothing but drama between them both.

Surion watched her until she was no longer visible. And even then he didnt move from where he was for a long while after she had disappeared from sight. He had more in his mind now then ever before and he didn't know what to do. It wouldn't be for another good 20 minutes before he mounted the bike to head out himself.

A friendly ear

Ceres, and Natalia were into an intense game of hide and seek.

Despite Natalia's disadvantage of not being able to see to know if she could be seen she had found some darn good hiding spots. Currently she was hiding under the bathroom sink in the cabinet of towels.

Ceres was the 'hunter', and prowling about the house. "Come out, come out... Where ever you are." She chimed as she checked niches, and under cabinets..

Natalia's giggles gave her away. But, she couldn't help it. She was far to excited. She thought she had the perfect place.

"Gotcha!" Ceres grinned as she opened the cabinet. She tickled her little girl, but it came to an abrupt stop. It was her mirror... "Oh goody mail!"

"No mommy!" Natalia pouted. "You stay and play with me..."

"I'll be right back..." Ceres said as she hugged Natalia tightly. "Why don't you go and find a really good spot while I'm gone."

"Okay." Natalia grinned. "Best ever!"

Shicala stood in front of a mirror in the hallway of the inn, she had NO clue if she had done that right, Senti was sitting on her shoulder chittering though Shicala had NO clue what the dragon wanted. She only knew Surion had not come out of his room for a couple days, and for the first time ever had not told her about his trip to Gaia.

Ceres came toppling through the mirror. She had expected to be in the bathroom of the post off, and to be sitting on the sink... Same fashion she always had. She grabbed the nearest thing to keep her from falling which happened to be the lady in front of her. Her travel bag fell off her shoulder and hung in the crook of her arm. She tried her best not to show any signs of being angry, but she couldn't help but to look confused. The only thing she recognized was Senti Surions dragon.

Shicala's expression was pure shock, this wasn't what she expected at all "What the" she'd expected a somewhat more..... graceful and magical entrance by the female Surion had told her about... She didn't look a ton like her son at that moment, her nearly black hair pulled up on the back of her head, no visible horns or otherwise.

Ceres removed her hand from the other's shoulder, and stood up straight. She pulled the bag back up to her shoulder, and then went about straightening her attire. She brushed her bangs, and pushed her hair behind her shoulder.

Ceres gasped as she realized she as seeing through a strangers eyes without permission. She quickly closed her eyes, and shut the connection. "I'm very, very sorry... I don't normally use others eyes without permission... And, I don't normally come toppling out of mirrors." She was going a mile a minute with her apologies.

Shic said nothing about the eye thing, she didn't know the difference "Well I was expecting a slightly more... graceful entrance, did you not expect to come out of some sort of mirror?"

Senti begun to chitter again looking back and forth between the two women.

Ceres put her hands on her hips. "Normally, I don't have some random person calling for me. And, most people at least have something in front of a mirror. So I always prepare for a sitting position." She was already on the defense, but quickly she folded them and rested them on her stomach to look less defensive.

"Senti." Ceres grinned. "How about we trade. Treat for site?" As she asked this question she was already busy digging through her bag.

Senti's head perks up in something in a sense of an affirmative and looking expectantly for treats.

"Well I guess you could call me a stranger of sorts, but not really random... You are Ceres arent you?" she asks her.

Ceres opens up he container taking away the bread. She kneels slowly, and sets the container on the floor. "There you go." She grins.

Ceres does look at who is speaking to her, but not directly. Her site issues are made apparent, but not what is wrong. "Yes, I am Ceres." She said as she stood back up keeping her eyes focused. "And, you?"

Senti gobbles down the treat given before skittering up onto Cere's shoulder, his little feet tickling as he did

Shicala nods "Sorry, I'm Shicala.. I'm Surion's mother" she tries to make up for the oversight of forgetting this woman did not know her.

"Thank You Senti." Ceres said finally able to focus on the lady. "I've heard of you, just never met you." She said with a smile as she extended her hand. "Pleasure to meet you."

Shicala extended her own hand and accepted the handshake, on her middle finger a ring almost identical but more feminine then Surion's.

If Ceres hadn't know better she might have assumed that Surion and the woman were engaged judging by the rings... But, she did know better. "The reason behind your 'call'... Is something the mater?" She asked concerned about Surion.

"Uhm well he went to Gaia a few days ago, when he came back he didn't tell me about his trip like he always does," she looked down the hall towards a closed door. "And, he hasn't come out since."

Ceres would have normally chalked this up to 'growing pains', but if the lady said he never kept anything from her then it was something else. She began to wonder if this had anything to do with that girl, or his memories. "May I?" She motioned down the hall. "I've seven myself... Maybe I'll have a little luck."

"Thats kinda why I attempted to contact you, you are the only one from what Surion has told me I'd have any hope of contacting, cause I will not go back to Gaia at all" she nods and motions down the hall "second from last door on the right."

Ceres felt a little bubbly knowing that she could be trusted with another's child, and that said person trusted her. She nodded her head pulling from a slight daze. With that she headed down the hall.

"I'll be downstairs" Shicala said turning away from her and heading down the now silent hall.

Ceres simply nodded her head knowing already from sound that the other was leaving. She knocked softly on the door. "Surion... Open up pretty please." She could sugar coat it, but if it came down to it she knew Surion had a mirror in his room and could enter via that way.

Surion looked up recognizing the voice, he was surprised to hear it. He was staring at pictures on the Glitchen. After a moment he got up and walked over opening the door "Ceres? What are you doing here?" there was something... different about him, besides his draconic features not being visible.

"Well with help of Senti I'm getting a 15 minute conversation with your mother, and 2 minute tour of the hall." She giggled. "In other words your mum is worried about you, and she called for my help." She said as she wiggled her way into his room and closed the door behind her for privacy.

"Why is she worried?" he raises a brow, moving to sit down on his desk chair again but has turned to face her, his glitchen visible over his shoulder it had a picture of him and Nani on it.

"We mothers pay more attention that you realize." Ceres began. "Your habits, your likes, your dislikes... The entire nine yards and then some. We learn to adjust so that we can comfort our offspring."

Ceres took a seat on the edge of his bed where she wouldn't disturb anything. "In other words. You out of habit tell your mother every little detail, and since you can back from Gaia you haven't said a word to her... Thus she is worrying. She just wants to know so that she can help you." She smiled softly.

"How do you tell your mother you know everything about their past, when they really don't want to know that... How do you tell them you know who your father is, who the other person's mate was... How do you deal with having the knowledge of your mate... And how do you let go of someone who possesses your heart completely" he said after about a minute of silence, he was staring at the floorboards as if they were the most interesting thing ever.

"I find it best to start at the beginning... It makes getting to the end alot easier and generally with less complication." Ceres said noticing the picture of Surion and Nani. "You are important to her, and she'll listen regardless if she doesn't want to her it."

"Mom doesn't want to know anything about her past, she doesn't care... She is happy with Tenor.... " he replies after taking a breath and sighs

"She loves you, she cares for you... There for without say it she does want to know. Just because you know about her previous life that she doesn't remember doesn't mean you have to tell her. All you have to tell her is what pertains to you." Ceres said as she stood up. She moved closer to Surion.

"What? that I remember the woman I gave my heart to, and every moment from the promise to never leave her to finding out I hurt her so bad that it is tearing me apart?" He looks up, dark pink liquids resting in the corners of his eyes.

"Perhaps all you need to say is... Mom I remember, and I've got to do what I've got to do." Ceres smiled. "And, also that you appreciate any support she gives."

"That's just it Ceres.. I DON'T know what to do... She says I have to let her go, she's got an adopted son now, and apparently another guy that cares about her... But I can't that in and of itself would be the end of me... I can more then wait for her, and I will till the end of time, but she holds my heart captive with no hope of escape ever..." one of the pink tears slipping down his cheek.

"Then fight for her Surion. Draw your sword, and do battle." Ceres said in a manor of figurative speech. "But, at the same time you've got to learn to let go, and let sleeping dragons be... So that if he wins you are prepared."

"She disappeared once, her memories gone much like mine were but for very different reasons, Ceres, you have no idea how much that almost killed me, I wouldn't sleep, I barely ate, thats when I got Senti, Nani's aunt bonded him to me and it made me pass out.. A few days later in the presence of her mother I broke down from stress and my body took it's first major change, thats when I got my wings... I wouldn't know how to let her go, I just can't" he lifts a hand and brushes the tears away.

"Letting go is one of those trails that turn a kid into an adult." Ceres said a tear slipping down her cheek. "Love is never ever kind or forgiving... But at the same time it is the most honest form of emotion. It forces us into unbelieved, and sometimes insurmountable odds."

"Ceres..." he sat up more, a look of resolve in his eyes "I can't and I wont give her up" he pauses "In that my biggest problem is now what to do about mom"

"As far as your mom goes... I've told you start at the beginning it makes the middle less complicated." Ceres put her hand on his shoulder. "As far as the girl she'll come along. You are intertwined, and torn hearts cannot men alone."

"If I leave mom here and move back to Gaia... how do you think she'd take that?" He asks suddenly.

"Worst case scenario... Empty nest syndrome." Ceres laughed half heartily. "Because all kids must grow up, and leave the nest. They must peruse their own lives."

He laughs, "she's been there and done that I didnt live at home when we came here"

"Then it is time for you to do that again... After all you cannot be having sex under her roof..." Ceres rolled her eyes. "Or, at least you shouldn't. If you are old enough to do it, then you are old enough to support yourself..." She huffed. "Now if I followed my own advice, then again at least I don't know when they do because at least it is never in my house." She rambled a bit to ease her discomfort.

He blushes brightly as she says this "Ceres every room I've ever had sex in has been soundproofed... this is an inn, not a house."

Ceres fans herself suddenly finding this room a lot hotter than it probably should have been. "Thank heavens I ask my children to keep their doors open 90 percent of the time. If sex ever happened in my home I don't know what I would do... I'd be scrubbing for weeks." She said looking away from Surion.

"I lost my virginity a long time ago.. I gave it to her... it was an interesting and very .. pleasureful way to start a new years," he wasn't shy to say that and smirked.

Ceres knew how red she was by how hot she'd suddenly become. You will think after 6 six children, and all the sit downs it entailed this topic would be easier and easier to 'deal with'. She reached for her bag hoping for an answer. "Erm... Hrm... Umm... Ohh... Ahh..." Everything started with trouble, and couldn't be finished. Embarrassment was evident.

Despite how he felt this made him laugh softly. He was watching her reaction as he spoke.

Ceres gave up finding nothing in her bag that was off use. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. "I, I..." She cleared her throat and took another breath. "I really don't know how we arrived at this topic." She said flustered. "I cannot even being to fathom having sex after 450 years of abstinence... It down right scares me... and yet you, you young people do it like it's, it's..." She threw up her hands. "Like it is a necessity."

"Sometimes it is, but anyways.... " he sighs "I guess I have a LOT of decisions to make... i don't know how I'm going to make them, but I remember everything, she gave me it all back," he sighs.

"Life is full of decisions... Sometimes at the moment you make them they will seem the worst possible thing you could have done, but you mustn't let yourself be led to that decision. Everything in time is made understandable." Ceres said as she closed her eyes. It was time to apologize to the lil guy on her shoulder. She was surprised he hadn't gone to hide yet. She went back to searching her bag.

Surion nods, "This is definitely a true fact." He sighs and watches her move to dig into the bag. "But decisions are also a fact of life, and mine is if i tell mum and if I move back to Gaia or not."

"I can only give advice... Not make decisions for you." Ceres said as she pulled out a sandwich container. Her eyes were open again as she prepared the treat for the lil one. "Where is your sibling?"

"I dont think it would be a good decision to leave to anyone else really." Surion admits.

Senti chitters and looks towards the sleeping red dragonette across the room.

"I appreciate you letting me use your eyes." Ceres says softly. "Eat your fill bill try to leave him a lil for when he wakes up." She smiles and rubs the top of his head before setting the container in her lap.

"Unfortunately life's choices need to be made by the persons life it involves... Those around said person can offer guidance, assistance, and a damn good ear." Ceres chuckled as she looked over at Surion. "And, when you have an 'oops' or a really shitty day a pat on the back always helps."

Senti's chittering increased and then stopped completely as his little paws tore apart the meat.

"A damn good ear is something I can always use, it's been a whirlwind of a week especially with all my memories back," he takes a deep breath.

"I'm a little of everything except a sex counselor and an emotional mess." Ceres said with a wink. "I hope you are feeling a little better... Your mother was really worried about you." She would have gotten up to hug him, but currently her lap was occupied by Senti.

"I do feel a bit better, not really many people I confide in or talk to here, I'm rather secretive in this world... you kinda have to be." he makes a face.

"I appreciate the fact that you trust me enough to confide with me." Ceres smiles. "I feel as if you are not only a good friend, but a family member." She sets the bowl on the bed for Senti to finish up the snack there. She stands up. "Just remember you can call on me anytime. And, if life ever gets to hectic my homes always open." She said as she made her way towards him to give him a hug.

"Only a few people I confide in, one is an object of my puzzle at the moment, one I think is confused and sorting her own heart out an is also a part of this puzzle you are another I feel able to talk to," he quiets watching Senti for a moment then turns his head to watch her approach.

Ceres hugs him like she would a son, brother, or other close sibling. "Puzzles in the beginning always make the picture look jumbled, but in the end the picture you see is the reward in itself."

Surion listens to these words for a time and then nods in agreement. "You're right," he looks up at her glad she had come at his mother's call.

Ceres takes a step back, and smiles for a moment. Her smile, however, fades when she realizes how much time she has spent 'getting the mail'. One of three things could be happening with Natalia: she could still be looking for that perfect spot, be taking a nap in that perfect spot, or have given up all together. In any case she hoped someone had an eye on her. She hadn't planned on being gone that long.

His brow furrows seeing her expression. "Are you ok Ceres?" He asks her without moving.

"I don't know..." Ceres said it so calmly it was enough to cause alarm. She moved to her bag, and quickly found her mirror. "I left Natalia back at home to find a really good hiding spot... At the time I was thinking I would only be gone a few minutes..."

"Oh dear, you better get to her then, thats definetaly important." He motions the mirror in her hand.

"I'm sorry to cut this so abruptly... I wouldn't worry all that much if she could see." Ceres says as she chews on her lips for a moment. "Don't hesitate to call on me again." She gives Surion another quick hug before vanishing. She didn't think to collect the dishes she had left in the hall or on the bed.

Surion attempted to return the quick hug but was a touch slow, once she was gone he just turned his chair back to the Glitchen continuing to think.

A Small World
Life as Rhine knew it was on a downward slope with his divorce being finalized. He didn't want to be home (alone) or with his mom (mobbed by siblings). To him it didn't seem that there was anywhere else to go but work.

Currently Rhine was taking a fifteen and enjoying a cup of coffee. His cafe couldn't make a fancy cup of Joe in 31 flavors... It was just average, but a good average. Just a little sugar and cream and it was just right.

Rhine sighed thinking back to Jasmines words... 'Things just aren't what they use to be. I've fallen out of love.' He never thought his flower would leave him. Perhaps a break was a bad thing...

Surion had by now settled back into life in Gaia, Now that he could remember everything, things didn't seem to feel so... lost. The only thing that still wasn't normal was the lack of Nani 's presence. On his Harley the male parked near a diner and dismounted the bike pulling his helmet off. He wasn't wearing his cloak today, but his dragonettes were ever present as they appeared from the depths of the saddle bags.

Rhine rubbed the back of his neck as he jerked himself from memory lane. It was a lane he didn't need to be traveling. The pain was still to fresh. He stood up and grabbed the half empty cup. At the moment he thought going back to work seemed like a good idea.

The male's long dark blue and silver streaked hair fell as normal half covering his face as he walked into the diner and looked around the shop. He could of been looking for someone but not finding them he takes a deep breath.

Rhine looked around and noticed that all the servers were currently busy with one thing or another. He was looking to get busy and this was his change. "Welcome friend," he said with a smile as he grabbed a menu. "This way." He motioned for the other to follow him.

Rhine had messy yellow and green hair that was shoulder length and looked as if it had a mind of its own. His eyes were large and green, and his body that of a magazine model. He was dressed fairly nice in a white button up shirt, and black dress pants. However, he did not wear shoes. What made him stand out of the most was his ear fins and tail... He defiantly had dragon in him.

Surion followed but a brow raised, the male seemed familiar but he wasn't sure the name. "Don't see many dragonkind these days..." he muses aloud, but not silently.

"Well your in luck. This establishment has two dragons. We co own. I cook, and she plays the violin." He smiled as he sat the menu on the table. "Name's Rhine and it looks as if I'll be both your server and your cook... Unless someone frees up." He sat out some napkins and silverware.

"Rhine... name rings a bell" he settles into a chair his tail lazily curling around the legs as he picks up the menu but doesn't yet open it as he watches the other male and the dragonettes settle onto another chair at the table.

"Cannot say I really get around," Rhine said as he watched the other curiously. Most people when they came to a cafe at least opened the menu. "Perhaps you know one of my 7 siblings..."

"Seven siblings huh... maybe I do... but not sure... are they dragonkind as well?" he still hadn't opened the menu though he was still holding it with one hand, his opposite hand waving at the jaguar patterned dragonette to quiet him.

"The one that co-owns the place with me is of dragonkind," Rhine chuckled. "The rest of my siblings are pretty diverse. Even our mother and father is unique." He tired not to focus his attention on his unopened menu.

"Hmmm," Surion nods turning his head to the menu, Rhine didn't really seem all that forthcoming on information. He opened it his eyes skimming the contents. "Most unique person I've met thus far travels using mirrors."

"My entire family travels via the use of mirrors," Rhine said as he pulled out a order pad, and a pen. He was happy to see that the other had finally opened the menu. He knew that making customers happy was most important. And, that secondly it didn't hurt to get to know them if they became a regular... But before know he was beginning to wonder if the young man was ever going to order.

"Okay then a plate of sandwich meats for Senti and Kuyl.... Don't ask me Ceres got them started on that one... and I'll have a steak seared lightly on both sides just enough to hold the blood in and a glass of orange juice." His eyes hadn't looked up even once as he spoke.

"Well after eight kids my mother has learned to carry damn near everything in that bag of hers. I bet she still has each and every baby blanket in there and a pack of band aids just in case we fall down," He said as jotted down the order and took a few notes on the details. He wondered for a moment how anyone could drink orange juice with steak. "Alright then," he smiled as he turned around, "I'll get right on it."

Surion folds the menu shut again offering it up to Rhine "thanks" he nods and pushes his bangs over one pointy ear.

Rhine didn't turn back around but knew that the menu had been held up. He grabbed it and kept walking. It was half way to the kitchen that he realized Surion had mentioned his mothers name... He really hadn't thought much of it with their casual conversation and thus his casual reaction. He decided he'd just ask how he knew his mother when he delivered the order. He dropped the menu back off at the reception area before headed towards the cooks area.

Surion watches Rhine for a moment and then turns his attention to the dragonette who had not stopped chittering to find out what the hell the lil guy wanted.

Shortly after Rhine had gone into the kitchen a waitress had brought Surion a drink. She had other tables, so she purposely came off as a little less than friendly.

Rhine came from the kitchen about 25 minutes later. He had everything taken care of so that if he lingered at the young mans table nothing would go haywire. He was flawless as he moved across the room holding three plates on one arm.

"Here we go," Rhine said with a smile. He proceeded to repeat the order as he sat each plate down. "Anything else?"

Surion glanced at Kuyl and Senti as the pair almost seriously pounced the plates hungrily before looking up "I think I"m ok for the moment, and they seem quite content as well" he tips his head momentarily towards the dragonettes.

"Not that I asked but you didn't say how you knew my mother," Rhine said as he watched the dragonettes. He couldn't help but to smile. It was amazing how something so simple could go such a long way.

"Your mother? I didn't know I knew her" one brow raises in curiosity not realizing the woman he referred to he'd actually mentioned while he was ordering for his dragonettes.

"You said that Ceres' got your dragonettes into each lunch meat... That lady is my mother," he said studying the other but trying not to make it to obvious.

"Oh really? Wow, this is a small world... I met Ceres at the GMFC building, she and her little one and her mate" he nods as he speaks, his free hand picking up the utensils.

"Natalia is my sister, as for Sky... He helped raise us all. I guess we can consider him as a father because he did protect us, but more so to us he was just one of us," He said as he noticed the other was ready to eat. "I'll let you get to your meal."

"I got the impression your mother loves him, to me that makes him her mate. And the fact he cares about you all is in fact important." He pauses and watches Rhine "thanks, the meal looks good" which had to sound somewhat odd since the meat was near raw.

"I along with six others grew up with Sky being an Equine. We did not see much of him, but we did know he was there." Rhine smiled. "I am thankful my mother does finally have him, as a person, to grow old with."

"Thank you. Let me know if we we can help you with anything else," Rhine said after he had heard the compliment the other had given."

Surion nods and cuts into the juicy meat. "I shall." he digs into the meal thinking about the conversation he was having with Rhine.

As Rhine headed back to the kitchen he was met by a fiery red head. It had to be his sister because of apparent dragon features. Past the fact that she is dragon it is hard to distinguish that she is in fact a girl. The conversation they are having seems rather casual.

By the time the dragonettes were done, both were sedate and happy, and lightly dozing next to each other on the chair beside Surion. Surion himself had finished all but the bone of the meat. He was swirling the last of the juice around his cup, a lot was on his mind. Everything from the conversation thus far with Rhine, to his decision to return to Gaia full time wishing it'd all gone differently.

"Seems you've got as much on your mind as me," Rhine said as he slid the bill onto the table. Though he had not returned he had made sure to have a waitress check up on him occasionally. "If you have the time you should really stick around... My sister is about to preform. They say classical can sooth ones soul."

Surion glances up "Oh... yeah I have some stuff on my mind, my life has changed a lot over the last couple years, in directions I would rather it hadn't. I still have to figure out what to do now, besides hope and wait...." he pauses contemplating the performance in question "probably does, not really my style of music though."

"Unfortunately life's life..." Rhine said as as he collected the dirty dishes. "It seems everyone is having their fair share off issues as of late." He didn't want to pour his current problems onto the other since he really didn't know him. "Shame you won't be staying... She's really something."

"Oh? whats been eating at your soul right now?" he was more curious about this then music at the moment.

"I'm dealing with a divorce and an empty bedroom." Though Rhine said it he decided at the moment he wouldn't divulge details. Even if he knew the other was curious he didn't know how curious. "Honestly, don't know which is worse."

Surion nods slowly and thinks about what the male has said and then sighs. "I don't know the divorce part but suppose I can relate to the empty bedroom... For me it's a different story though, my mate isnt with me for the reason I was gone for more then a year.. I couldnt remember her or anything about my past... I only just got my memories back a little while ago... thanks to her."

"You mean- thanks to my mother?" Rhine asked as the tip of his tail curled. "She's a miracle worker... To bad she couldn't work one for me." He chuckled.

He laughs a bit sitting up more "Kinda, she started me out, but the full return of memories I was missing was thanks to Nani.. But your mom played a huge part in that, cause if she hadn't pointed me in the right direction I would never have written a letter to Nani."

Rhine smiled. "Well, at least you some what got what you wanted in the end." He gave one of those sighs that altered that he just felt empty inside. "I don't know though if I would want to forget but anything has got to be better than how I feel."

"Not really, I still have an empty bedroom" he leans on the table "And I know she's off with another guy, and an adopted son... I suppose in a way it's kinda the same... but I can tell you it's not a feeling I'd wish on anyone, some of me regrets learning my past... but she'll never leave my heart... Ya know?" he motions the empty seat across him with his hand the light shining off his finger with the simple golden band.

Rhine only sat because he was offered. In return he offered a lopsided slightly goofy smile. It was somewhat forced, but it could be forgiven considered his current disposition.

"I meant you got what you wanted because you got your memory. Perhaps sooner or later you will get your girl back." He tried to remain positive. Although at this moment he really didn't know if the world was handing out positiveness...

"Debateable... but ... so whats your story... why is your bed empty?" he leans against the table and decides he wants some water now that his orange juice glass is empty, his eyes shifting color as he fills the glass.

"We've had our share of problems since the get go... Well it's actually me that is the issue. I'm generally romantic, and flirty... Add alcohol and well..." He chuckled weakly almost guiltily. "Anyways, we got through that and I just didn't touch alcohol." He looked at the table and sighed. "I thought we were more than happy. I mean homes just right up stares. She always had me... Whenever-" He looked up at Surion but not at him. "Just one day she said we just didn't have anything in common anymore... And, like that she was gone."

He frowns "Well that sux, truely it does" he sighs, there were very often times he didn't think he'd ever understand the female gender. He lifts his drink sipping it for a moment and thinking.

"So, now... Here I am. The beds empty but the housing area isn't. My sister lives with me." He chuckles. "She is -interesting- and rarely there is a dull moment." He sighed. "But I'm an 'active' person..."

Surion nods "Sounds like you at least have someone around... I hope life takes a turn for the better for you, I know it cannot be fun"

"Turn around... I don't know if I could be so lucky." He sighs as he stands up again. "I could go and get drunk... But, at the same time its just not fulfilling.

"Getting drunk also wont saolve life's problems, you do have to admit this." he watches Rhine stand back up.

"That is why I said -not fulfilling-." Though he sighed he smiled. "Well I better get back to work. Thanks for the ear... I feel at least somewhat better."

He smiles and nods, changing his mind as Rhine walks away and turning to watch the performance.

Make A Joyful Noise
Ceres said nestled in the corner with Sky and Natalia. Although, she had her bag opened wide it gave the appearance of being empty. She reached in and pulled out some toys for Natalia to play with. They were pretty much into themselves to noticed anyone else.

Surion steps into the GMFC building , and peers around, no cloak this day, but his ever-present dragonettes are resting on his shoulder, well until they notice Ceres and both jump or glide down almost a race to see which can reach her first... both in search of a treat which Ceres was so habitful of giving them. Surion on the other hand just watches, he was wearing his customary black jeans with the belts, but unlike the last time Ceres 'saw' him he was wearing a different shirt, it was mesh and short sleeved, and not as baggy. He also wore wristbands and a choker that were studded much like his belt, and as usual, the two necklaces he always wore, his magical concealment ring on one of them.

Ceres looked in the direction of the chittering of dragonettes and chuckled. "Hey there you two." She reached into her bag and pulled out a container of lunch meat. "You aren't here alone are you?"

Natalia was busy making lots of noise whether it was with her hands, her tail, or her toys. Two things were for certain she was happy, and entertained.

Both dragonettes hover rather close to the container in question anxious for her to open it neither of them quiet in this impatience.

"Are they ever," Surion chuckles as he sees the excitement of the pair, he turns and saunters towards Ceres and her daughter "Wow, Nat is growing," he grins.

"Well I hope they wouldn't be by themselves-" Ceres quickly opens the container and separates it in equal portions. "Here we go," she says as she sets it out for them.

"Like a weed," Sky chuckled as he shook something noisy in front of Natalia so that she would know where it was coming from. Instead of putting it down he waited for her to grab it.

"I'm a big girl!" Natalia squealed as she took the toy. She smacked it against her opposite palm so that it made a lot of noise. She liked noise and in large amounts.

Senti and Kuyl chitter noisily their thanks and then grow silent as they work to devour the treat.

Surion stops in front of the family and squats reaching to ruffle the little girl's hair. "That you are little lady, that you are," he smiles, and then looks at both of the parents. "How are the pair of you?" he inquires, never occurred to him that the last time either saw him he was still in Faerun, and wearing clothing from there. He was making no effort to hide the dozens of scars that littered his torso and arm plainly visible.

Ceres' cheeks grew hot when ever the topic turned them as a couple and not separate people. Even if she knew time was short she was still adjusting to it.

"Well enough-," Sky said when he noticed that Ceres seemed to have swallowed her words. It wasn't often he knew her to be like this but he wasn't about to say anything.

"I think I know your voice." Natalia said as she reached out to touch Surion's arm. "May I see you?" She asked as her fingers walking up the length of his arm. She wouldn't go further without permission.

"Well I suppose that's better then not at all" he blinks, a little confused why his friend didn't reply herself. Then he hears Natalia's question and he smiles, he was aware of the sight issue from what his friend had told him. "You most certainly may Nat" he says, still squatting so he was in plenty reach, the little girl would find Surion's long hair half covering his face as usual. "And yes you do know me, I met you when you were a baby, I'm Surion," he adds.

"Sky!" Ceres exclaimed as she nudged him. She couldn't believe the cut and dry answer he'd given and to boot it wasn't much of an answer at all. "Its just we've had a lot going on..." she said towards Surion as she kept an attentive eye on Natalia.

"Pleasure to meet you," Natalia smiles as she firmly places her hands on his arms. "Officially," she grins as she feels his muscles. She then takes in the mesh top, and soft locks of hair. "What color is your hair?" she asks she finally feels his face. "You have lips, a nose, and eyes-," she said feeling her own with her own hand, "-like me." She felt comforted by this. "What makes you different?" She asked out right not understand boundaries.

Surion chuckles at Ceres and Sky. "All is good," he replies as the dragonettes abandon the empty containers and climb into Cere's lap.

His attention returns to the child as her question comes up. "Well, in a lot of ways we are similar yes, but at the same time we are different, example, you are a girl, and I'm a boy... You have a different kind of wing then I do and a different kind of tail... I also have horns.. and this-," he gently guides her hand more up his face until her fingertips graze the surface of the gem imbedded in his forehead, "-and my hair is dark blue, with some silver streaks in it."

Ceres' touch to the dragonettes is gentle- almost like petting.

Natalia sighs softly and continues to feel about his face. "You are very pretty," she said with a grin. "My dad has blue hair, and my mom has silver streaks. My hair is blue." She curls her fingers in his hair. "Very soft..."

A soft rumbling purr emits from the dragonettes as they are 'petted'.

"Cant have everyone in this world the same can we," he smiles looking at the child. "Would get boring for people to see," he inwardly chuckled at her comments, she was definitely a sweet child.

"Different," Natalia mumbled. "Will you show me your horns?" She asked particular curious as to what they felt like. Though he said their wings and tails were different she knew what hers felt with so at the moment she was hardly concerned. "I want to know if they are like my brother and sisters..."

"Uhmm sorry sweety, that one... well, only my mate can touch my horns. But suffice to say... they are a lot like Cassara's.. I think I got that name right," he glances at sky and Ceres, they could compare the kids to him better then he could.

"Vlad," Ceres said with a chuckle. "They are a lot like your sister. Vlad. You know those two small ones on the top of her head. And their tails and wings will feel similar as well." She felt the need to add before Natalia went asking to touch to see every bit of Surion.

"Oh," Natalia said as she dropped her hands. "He is sensitive isn't he." She had made that assumption after being told no. "My siblings are like that but they are patient with me," she said as she went back to her noisy toys.

Sky wanted to hide his face. Was his family really that 'strange'. It was almost embarrassing on what Natalia picked up on and she couldn't see at all... He helped her find the toys.

"Erm" Surion blushed rather brightly at the child's declaration about him being sensitive.... He reached a hand into his pouch and pulled out a piece of parchment and a pen and quickly scribbled on it. Turning it to Sky he didn't want this child to know this....

It read:

Sensitive to touch.... they are a large part of my kind's.... intimate relations.

He left the parchment facing Sky only long enough for the other male to read it.

About this point the dragonettes become interested in the child and slip off Cere's lap and skitter over to her.

"Kids do the darnedest things..." Sky said still slightly embarrassed by Natalia's words. Thankfully her actions hadn't gone that direction.

"It's my wings..." He said offering something in return for the others openness towards him. He knew Natalia wouldn't pick up on it because she was interested in other things at the moment.

Natalia heard the chittering. "Are they touchable?" She asked in no certain direction.

Ceres noticed that the 'men' were occupied amongst themselves at the moment and scooted closer to Natalia. "Yes," she said as she took her daughters hands in her own. "Gently, like this."

Surion chuckles and nods, shifting his weight and then sitting down rather then squatting as he put the parchment back into his pouch. "That too, but not so much..." he let the sentence hang.

Senti pushes his little head into the palm of Natalia's hand chittering as he does.

Kuyl wanted the attention being given as well moving even closer to the child.

"We have quite a few differences," Sky said with a chuckle. His tail swished without a thought. He kept his focus divided so Ceres could continue to see what was going on around her.

Ceres helped Natalia use both her hands so that she could occupy both dragonettes and give them equal attention. "You have to be fair. You know what me and your daddy do between you and your siblings."

Natalia nodded her head and did as her mother instructed. "I like how they feel." She giggled.

"Well I would imagine we do, we aren't of the same background," he chuckles and watches from the corner of his eyes while he talked to Sky.

About this time the purring starts back up, and Senti stops nudging the palm of Nat's hand only to lick it with his little tongue.

"That tickles," Natalia giggles as she feels her fingers being tickled and hear their purr. "I take it that I am doing a good job." It was directed at her mother since her mother was helping her.

"Yes," Ceres whispered. Now that Natalia knew what she was doing Ceres could focus else where but still keep an eye out. "You two seem to be getting along." She mused aloud.

Surion grins looking from Sky to Ceres. "And should there be a reason we shouldn't be?" his grin had a mischievous look about it.

Kuyl stays put enjoying just the simple attention, Senti decides about now he wants a better perch and skitters up the childs arm onto her shoulder before nudging Nat's cheek with his little head and then giving it a little lick.

"So long as you don't convince him to scoot his 400 plus year old butt to my side of the bed I suppose not." She grinned as the blush crept across her face. She had contemplated getting THAT close to sky but she wasn't ready to... And, the bad thing was that she didn't have forever anymore. Not that she wanted forever.

There went another moment that Sky wanted to hide his face. He wasn't use to being able to being this open with Ceres around. Matter of fact Ceres being this open was different but in a good way.

"I think they want another treat mommy," Natalia chuckled trying to pay both equal attention.

"Aww would that be such a bad thing?" he teases and then chuckles leaning on a hand. He glances at the dragonettes "Hard to say Nat, they seem to simply be enjoying your attention"

"You sure about that... I ate a sandwich before we came." Natalia giggled thoroughly enjoying their attention as much as she was enjoying giving it. They were easy to play with.

"Can you really see us at our age..." Ceres said with a glance in his direction. Her hand moved to her bag. She made a lot of noise as she dug around in what appeared to be an empty bag.

"I've had more than my fair share so I am content to do what pleases Ceres," Sky said as he gently laid a hand on her shoulder. He smiled even though he knew Ceres couldn't see it.

"I cant even picture my mother and her ex... my father... so no not really," Surion bursts out laughing. He had a pleasent laugh so it shouldnt scare anyone. "Don't worry about giving them another treat, they are both spoiled enough as it is.

This earned Surion a momentary glare from both dragonettes, but only for a moment cause they were just plain too content getting the attention Nat was handing out.

"Okay," Ceres said as she instead pulled out another toy- it was just as noisy as the last. When it came to picking toys for Natalia she never picked out toys for their vibrant colors but instead picked ones that were extremely noisy.

Sky snorted. "I don't there is one young'n in existence that doesn't shiver at the very thought of their parents that particular moment..." He chuckled.

Natalia giggled as she continued to enjoy their attention and give attention to the dragonettes. But she also giggled because she heard her toys. "Do they like to play?"

Surion laughs loudly at Sky's reply "Weeeelllll it's not a matter of shivering... Cause I know plenty details, have known since I was a kid... It's just not as cut-throat dry and normal plain-jane as the normal couple" He looks over to Natalia and the dragonettes "They play but probably not in the same way you do.... I doubt they would argue playing with you though."

"I think our house knows more than it should," Sky chuckled. "But, it cannot be helped when you have so many kids..." He sighed soflty. "We equines do a lot of dancing, and 'fighting' before we even get the right to-" he left it at that because of Natalia being close.

Ceres cleared her throat. "I think that is more than enough of that conversation." She shook the noisy toy in front of Natalia. "You wish to continue please continue it away from Natalia... She certainly is far to young."

All Natalia could hear was the jingle of the toy. She took it from her mother and shook it to show the dragonettes. "It is fun," she said as she did it some more.

Surion laughs. "All right all right Ceres.... I'll stop..." he shakes his head and shifts his weight, the overhead lights catching on the studded accessories he wore. He felt at ease around these two, despite the fact Ceres couldn't physically see he knew she could see through her mate.

Kuyl lifts his head tipping it to one side curious of this new task Natalia had started.

Senti on the other hand chitters and scurries down Nat's arm to find another noisy toy which he picks up with his long tail and bangs on the ground.

Ceres was happier that the men were not discussing sex anymore. It was beginning to make her uneasy. Perhaps it was due to the fact she was still a virgin. "You seem happier," she smiled.

With that Sky focused his attention on Surion for the moment. He knew that the toys Natalia had were not breakable.

"You got it," Natalia said as she continue to make noise with the toys. She even flicked her tail so that it jingled. She giggled as she thoroughly enjoyed this.

Surion shrugged, "Don't know about happy, but I'm surviving for lack of any better term." He nods

Kuyl looks back and forth between the pair curiously he wasn't sure if he was gonna just jump in on this

Senti... hearing Nat's positive reinforcement only banged the toy harder against the floor.

"I just assumed because you are smiling more and you've dressed differently," Ceres said over the noise that her toddler and the dragonettes were making.

Natalia giggled and clapped her hands together making even more noise. "Fun, fun!" She chirped excitedly. "You two are really fun to play with!"

Sky watched them wishing he had some ear plugs. It wasn't this often that Natalia or any of the children got this noisy- arguing didn't count.

"What?... Oh!" he looks down at his attire. "Well... When in Gaia do as the Gaians," he laughs. "I wear the other style of clothing when I go visit mom in Faerun," he grins.

About this time Kuyl gives in and locates a toy for himself, which he picks up in his little jaw and smacks lightly against Nat's leg.

If the noise wasn't bad enough Senti was beginning to get excited and was loudly chittering with all the other noise he was making.

"Any closer to getting that girl," Ceres asked. "Our island doesn't have a dress code per say... But, with the weather always nice we prefer light weight clothing and as little as possible..."

Sky looked towards Ceres. "You'd better stop there before you embarrass yourself love." He chuckles and rests a hand on her hip.

Natalia squeals in pleasure and delight that her two new friends have joined in. "More noise!" She had a toy in each hand and was flicking her tail.

Surion laughs speaking over the noisy trio. "Well I cant say I"m that dressed down, I used to wear this for work, which I need to find more of soon... As for Nani.." he sighs and shakes his head if that was any indication of the answer. "I wish, I truly wish...."

"I'm sorry Surion," Ceres' voice was very heartfelt. "You know you could ask my son, Rhine... He can always use an extra hand." She smiled. Though she knew most of everything her children did via their choice she did not know that Rhine had chatted with Surion.

"This to me is far to much after having gone over 400 years wearing nothing-" Sky grinned. "But, I know that I need to wear something because of this body..."

Natalia continued to make as much noise as possible. She didn't grow breathless no matter how loud or how long she continued.

"I'll be ok... As for Rhine, he's a great guy and it looks like the diner he runs is nice, hell the food is good.... But I think I'll try for another dancing job first.. Or maybe I'll just open a club, I don't know, that would require finding the right staffing and a good DJ" he sighs

The more Nat seemed to like it the more Senti got into the playing, Kuyl was a lil more reserved often giving Senti a look that said 'what the hell you doing?'

"I should have guessed that with you being in Gaia you would meet my son." Ceres fished around in her bag. "There is only one stipulation to this-," she said as she pulled out a roll of hundreds. It was thick, and from glance uncountable. "You'll employ my daughter Aurora."

Natalia sat down the toys and took a couple breaths as she called herself down. "That was a lot of fun," she chirped and decided to pet them some more. She knew they liked that.

Even from behind his bangs it was obvious both of his brows raised noticably seeing the roll of bills "Wha...." Was Ceres just up and offering to help him start a business? This was NOT something the male expected at all, not in the least.

Senti didnt calm down, not right away at least, not till his companion Kuyl just about sat on him having dropped the toy at the first sign of the game ending.

Ceres put the money into Surions hand. "Aurora Dawn has business smarts as well as the ability to dance. I know her skill in violin won't help you out... But the rest of her will. And, I trust that with you perusing another person you will not bed my daughter." Her voice was thick and held a warning. She was generous but to a point. Money was one thing but her children were another. And, she knew that Aurora wore little, and appealed to many. Finally she smiled.

"You are like family," Sky said as he watched the transaction. Though today was really the first time that they had really talked he knew him from previous. Also, because Ceres' spoke often of him.

Natalia chuckled as the noise came to a sudden halt. She made sure to use both hands so that both of them got equal attention.

"You are sure about this Ceres? Sky?" He looked back and forth between them as his hand slowly closed around the bills. He did have a fair amount of money of his own, having had no bills except the car he'd bought for Nani which had been paid off before he had gone to Faerun. "And of course not, I'm not interested in other women in that manner... I have a mate... even if I dont have her completely, I won't take another."

The purring of the pair of dragonettes soon resumed, toys forgotten, luckily for the ears of hte others as Senti had been getting VERY loud.

"Very sure," Ceres smile with a smile. "If I wasn't you wouldn't have it in your hand." She chuckled as she leaned against Sky. She was getting on the tired side- her aging was to blame.

Sky nodded his head as he smiled and wrapped his arms around Ceres. In a way it was nice to finally be able to grow old together. It was just hard to adjust to after having lived so long.

"Mommy I want snack. Please." Natalia said as she continued to give them attention. It had been a while since lunch and she was starting to realize it now that she had calmed down.

Surion turned the roll over in his hand blinking a few times as it all registered. "Wow... thanks... Uhm, your daughter, I presume lives in your home?" He had to know how to contact the female.

The word 'snack' now that got BOTH of the dragonette's attention and dispite being petted both looked expectantly towards Ceres.

"She does technically live at home..." Ceres snorted at the thought of her daughter and her living arrangements. "Then again she still uses her window instead of the front door or the mirror. I don't know why she thinks she has to sneak out. She cat naps when ever the whim occurs."

Ceres took a moment to dig through her back once more. It was a good thing that it always had exactly what she needed. She pulled out two containers this time.

Sky had to bite his lip to hold in his laughter. Aurora Dawn was the wildest and flirtatious of the bunch. It was like that one black leaf- literary and figuratively. But she was loved.

Natalia was eager about the snack and held out her hands greedily.

Surion chuckles and pushes to stand, "Well I should probably get moving, I have a lot of research to do... Tell Aurora to meet me at your son's diner... We'll discuss details." He chose that location simply cause it was unlikely the girl WOULDN'T know where it was "Uhmm tomorrow around supper time, we can talk over supper..." He reaches down scooping the two dragonettes up much to their disappointment.

"Here take this," Ceres said as she held up the container. "I know they had their hopes up." She wanted to make sure they got it. She smiled. "Alright, I'll let her know." She handed the other container to Natalia after opening it.

"Good luck," Sky said not making a move to get up. He knew Ceres would let Natalia finish the snack before making any attempt to leave.

Natalia pouted. "Later..." She was slightly disappointed that her new friends were leaving.

"You'll see them again Nat, I'm sure" he smiles setting them on his shoulders before taking the container "Thanks.... And I'll be chatting with you guys soon again I'm certain" he put the money in his pouch and waved his goodbyes to the family and a ruffling of Nat's hair before heading out the door.
