Whitepaw blinked open green eyes to see Foxpaw, followed by his voice only to be tailed by Cottonpaw's. The white she cat blinked, stretching out long legs. "I don't feel like moving." She meowed gruffling, fluffing up her fur. "But... if I must." She meowed, giving a half hearted smile as she roused herself.

Deserttail looked at Wildpelt with a mouthful of frog, and signaled with her tail that it was her turn to try for something.

Darkfoot nodded, walking outside and into her den. Maybe I'll go gather herbs.... She looked at her herbs, not really seeing any herb needed more. Maybe I'll go get some honey! She thought cheerfully. Of course, she had enough honey, but honey was good to eat. She walked out of camp, going to the nearest hive. She stood up on her back paws, and reached in and out just as fast. After a while, she had two stings and quite a lot of honey. She left the rest for the bees. Wrapping up the honey on a leaf, brought it back to camp. Who will want it? She thought, walking over to the apprentice's den first. "Do either of you want any honey? I was bored, so I went out and collected some to eat. I have enough, and honey's really good to eat..."

Mistycloud rested her head back on her paws and yawned. Won't be long now... She thought closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.

Deserttail snorted at Wildpelt. Coward... She thought to herself. She wouldn't even try to catch anything. She brushed past her, carrying her frog, and headed back to camp.

Darkfoot gave a frustrated snort. "Fine, I'll bring it to the warriors." She picked up the leaves, bringing it over to the warrior's den. No one was really there. She gave a sigh. "I'll give it to Deserttail and Wildpelt when they come back." She ate a biteful of honey.

Deserttail entered the camp with her frog and set the frog in the fresh-kill pile next to the apprentices, she didn't say anything as she padded to the warrior's den, but she pushed the frog in Whitepaw's direction. "Hi Darkfoot, what are you doing here?" She said, surprised.

(I don't know...and I assume you meant Darkfoot, not Dampfoot.)
Darkfoot pushed the leaves over to the warriors. "The apprentices didn't want any honey, so I thought I'd bring it over to the warriors! It's really good, actually." She licked off a bit of honey that had fallen onto her paw. "Go on, try it!"

"Really?" She asked and licked some out of the leaf. "Wow, it is good." She settled down to enjoy the honey with Darkfoot. "What's going on in the medicien world?"

Darkfoot shrugged. "Frozen herbs. No sick cats so far. Boring." She took a small bite of honey, enjoying its taste. "I wonder how the other medicine cat's are doing."

"Well, I guess that's good. At least no one's sick." Deserttail licked up some honey that had gotten in her fur. "How long before Mistycloud's kits arrive?"

Darkfoot blinked. "I guess...but it's not like I can go on hunting patrols or border patrols when I'm bored. I have to sit around, in my den, rearranging herbs." She looked towards the nursery. "A few days at most, maybe."

Deserttail nodded, considering the information. "They'll be born into a cold and harsh world..." She looked up and licked the honey from her jaws. "At least they'll have the best medicine cat in the four clans to look after them." She winked at Darkfoot and licked up more honey from the leaf.

Darkfoot snorted. "If I was the best medicine cat in the four Clans, we wouldn't have deaths." She looked over the snow. "I feel so sorry for them. Kits born in leaf-bare...they'll be cold. Hopefully they won't be sick."

Desrttail nodded, not speaking because some of the honey had gotten stuck on the roof of her mouth and she was concentrating on licking it off. All she succeeded in doing was making herself look like a mousebrained apprentice.
