Lily can feel the tensing in Colche in the pace and hobble in their running, and she slows them both down. If it was still following them now, their best bet might be a tree instead of forcing Colche to keep running.
"Hold on," she murmurs gently, keeping a hold of Colche's hand should she need support. She pants rather loudly, but can no longer hear any sounds from the way they came.
"I don't know, if it's there it's not going fast now," she says indecisively, deep breaths punctuating her sentences, "Let's get to the beach, but slower.."
She glances at the red on Colche's leg and frowns.

Colche nods softly biting her bottom lip nervously she glances back "sorry" she squeeks looking very ashamed of herself tears once again rolling down ehr cheeks as she continues to hobble her tail still and her ears flattened. She looked exceedingly dejected her whole slender frame almost looking as if it would collapse in on itself should anything remotely heavy touch her. The beach she knew, wasn't too far away now and she could hear no sounds from behind them either, though she was more destracted by the pain in her leg joint.
Licking her dry lips she sniffles, she hadn't been hurt since she came to the island, Aubrey promised she wouldn't be hurt. She wanetd desperately to return to her duplex and hide in ehr tent but she knew they were still locked, Lily had said so "Number seventeen" she mumbles in a child like manner wiping her eyes with the back of her wrist as the first scent of the sea hit her sensitive nose and she turned her head straight towards the quiet not too distant sound of the waves "beach" just the one word was sufice, perhaps once they hit the beach she could rest and check her wound, but what would she do about it? her wounds in the past had allbeen left as they were, would it be the same now?

Lily starts up a walking pace, much slower than before and still holding onto Colche's hand. She moves closer to Colche after she mumbles an apology and cries, "No, don't be sorry. Thank you, Colche- you got us away from it." She smiles slightly.
Her breath calming as they walk, Lily bites her lip, her mind slowing down some. Her feet hurt, but that doesn't seem very important. They'd escaped a boar thanks to Colche. She'd only been looking for food.
"Seventeen?" she asks suddenly, hearing in the midst of her thoughts the number. She looks to Colche and then in the direction she did- they're almost to the beach.
"Yes, the beach," she says with a relieved sigh, "We'll look at your leg when we get there."

((IF Colche or Lily try to go back to the spot the piglet was killed, it's missing.
However, after a good night's sleep - whatever attention is given to Colche's wound seems to have helped, and it looks better. Regardless, it will not become infected.))

~*New Roleplay*~
Emerwyn ran, and ran, and ran.
She wasn't getting anywhere, and as far as she knew, she was going in a complete circle. The trees swarmed around her, hiding danger unknown. The complete fear consumed her, and drove her to keep running. She had to escape. Had to escape. The Cheshire Cat. He had killed everyone else, and now he was going to come complete his revenge, and take her life as well.
Running and running. The spinning cards clouded her vision. The wind as she ran through the jungle tore at her wounds; they began to bleed again.
He was there, there, coming up behind her... He would catch her.

"********!" Lauren hissed as she accidently hit her finger with the rock... again. She was attempting to make some arrow heads as hunting with just a knife alone had proven ineffective.
Set to the sides were some nicely shaped sticks Lauren had taken the past few days to carve down as smoothly as she could. But just as Lauren was nursing her finger, a woman came running through the woods.
'CRACK' And she ran right over that pile of arrow shafts.
"What the fu... what are you doing? Did you know how long?" Her face was red, her belly grumbling. Lauren stood up ready to run after the woman if she kept going.

Emerwyn spun around, her hardened feet digging into the dirt with the force of her turn. The voice almost made her scream. She saw Lauren, surrounded by the images that still had not been banished from her waking vision.
Her chest moved up and down in rapid heaves. She didn't speak, she only stared at Lauren, wide eyed...
... Like a deer in headlights.

Lauren was at least happy that Emerwyn had stopped. That calmed her down a little bit. She didn't really like the look on her face, it reminded her of intense pain, of the looks Lauren had long ago. She couldn't really yell at her but she wanted to. Taking a deep breath and picking up the few that weren't broken, she looked back at Emer.
Suddenly she looked back hopeing that there wasn't some weird predator chasing her. Lauren hadn't seen any that would go after large humans but she was paranoid just as well.
"Somethin' dangerous isn't chasing you?" She asked. Why else would she look so afraid, can't be running from nothing.

"No.... no... no... You can't.... I couldn't...." She panted, the blood running slowly down her cheek in her reopened gashes.
She blinked slowly, looking out as Lauren did. "He's.... there?"
Her eyes travelled back to Lauren, and knelt down beside her, her eyes glazed over, filled with now more sadness than fear. "Please....."

Lauren looked back, now more confused than angry. "Who can't?! What hold on now!" She saw the blood running down Emerwyn's cheek. Damn, what was going on.
"Whose there?" Lauren replied, looking back again. "Is he HIDING or something because I don't see jack s**t." A bird flew past, that was about it.
And then she fell to her knees looking less afraid but sad. "What.. what is going on get ahold of yourself! Please WHAT?" The lack of response was very much annoying Lauren.

Emerwyn's eyes became clearer; she was starting, if so slowly, to become coherent. But she launched into a string of words, complete, yet incomprehendable.
"I couldn't save him... I couldn't... and now, now, He's coming. Destroying everything, everthing... And he... he..." She touched not her cheek now, but the far more angry gashes in her hand. The skin around them was dead and swollen. "It wasn't Him.... It was... him. It wasn't his fault... not his fault.... I couldn't save them..."

A light almost popped above her head. Lauren now thought she understood exactly what Emer was going on about. Her anger towards her was not towards the anonomous man that Emerwyn was referring to.
"b*****d! Now who did this to you?" She pulled out her knife, memories swelling. She couldn't take physical abuse, she couldn't deal with that in her mind. Her words turned cold. "I'll gut him if you want."
Her mind just went right over the 'it wasn't his fault' parts. Lauren had heard that line a billion times and even had used it herself. 'it wasn't his fault, no I made him do it. If I were better, smarter, if I had saved mom...'

"No! No, I was supposed to help him... I swore I would help him... And now... "
She shuddered.
"You can't hurt him." It was hard to tell the connotation in this statement. Whether it was for his protection, or Lauren's.
"I need to get out of here... I need to get home... The trees, they..." She looked at them again, nervously. "I need my book. In my room. My book."
Emerwyn was as of yet completely unaware of the lockdown.

Lauren looked even more convinced of her own assumptions, "Yes I can hurt him" An odd smile crossed her lips. "I can hurt him very easily at this point. No point in him hurting you. And it's NOT your fault."
Then she started talking about the books and the home and the room. "You can't, we're locked out. Why do you think I'm in my torn tank top and Chubb's shorts?" She pointed to the shorts tied to her thin frame with some rope. "Your not the only one in trouble."

Emerwyn listened to Lauren with concern. She would NOT get someone else involved in this. Too many people to get hurt... But then, something in Emerwyn snapped. "Locked?" The explosion. The blackout. She reached for the back of her neck. "I was knocked out... that night... What happened? There was an explosion. Where are... the doctors?" Surely they'd have come looking for their valuble experiments by now.
