Elli smiled.
"I know your trouble.. My own son, Rellick, just left.. He went to your mate for an ally.. I knew Kall when he was but a cub..." She cocked her head. "I have heard of you Fayola.. Welcome to Rackna's Lands... I am sorry I was so harsh... But my newest little ones are playing and, you understand."
At the thought of her daughter Elli eyed the waves of green grass, searching for a crimson speck. Aritania was well hidden, where ever she was.
"Come.. Tell me of your child and their new life."

"I shall, but first would you like to share my kill?" Fayola returned the others smile warmly. So she knew Kallivenion. "And I do understand."

"Of course Briseis. What is it?"
His voice grew worried, and a flicker of protectiveness flashed across his face. What was wrong? His gaze shifted toward a young cub, standing a few feet away. He waved her over, turning to face her. He smiled to her, hoping she didn't noticed the worry that now clouded him.
"Yes my dear? Have you a question?"
"Huh? Oh, yes. Rackna has had these lands for a long time."
She smiled to him, slowing slightly so she was beside him.

The female smiled as she walked to him to give him a rub, she knew what his looks meant and what to do to cheer him up but her news wasn't so cheery. She looked to him, "You know I would do anything for you and I have been loyal to you ever since I was a kit. I would stand by you in any battle, but for when I'm older and ready to move on will you stand by me and support me?" She knew he wouldn't let her do anything rash, but she wasn't one to do anything in haste. She blinked looking at her adopted father.

Elli smiled.
"I will join you as you dine... But I must decline your generous offer." She said graciously. "I am quite full from my noon meal."
She turned to survey the lands once more, wondering where her cubs were romping.
More pressingly.. Where was her love?
'Rackna.. Please be well.. Wherever you are.' She thought.
It felt like she hadn't seen him in ages.

Kanashimi gave a bow to him. Her quiet voice had a protected coldness to it, and her words were quick and to the point, though spoken slowly, "I assume you are the king. My name is Kanashimi, and I would be honored if I could join your pride, if it pleases you."

Tay bumped shoulders with the gold-white teen, purring softly. Now an adult, the Shaman looked every inch her role. "I will say that she will be a valuable asset to the Pride, my King."
The younger Queen sat and discussed her problem to the other. Her daughter leaving, a new pregnancy... When finished she sat down to eat. "That is why I did not notice, Queen Ellidanio, and still apologize."

Elli now lay on a flat boulder, one of her favorite sunning spots, and listened to her new friend.
"I understand completely Fayola... Truly I do.. " She said kindly. "My mate and King, Rackna, was quite distraught when Rellick left us... And the fact that we have not seen our son since then... It makes it hard to take..."
She trailed off, golden eyes misting as she glanced away. "I am sorry if I lose my composure... Rellick is very dear to me.. And to have him missing for so long.. And not be able to go see him because of my new cubs..."
Aritania listened to her mother's words, then turned away. 'I'll go get Rell for mamma!'
She thought, and without a trace, the Elegant Garnet vanished from her father's lands.

The teen Kanashimi looked to Tay. She smiled at the friendly female. At least I feel that I can depend upon her, if no one else... She then returned her gaze to the king, awaiting his answer.

Elli bathed in the sunlight, purring as her thoughts turned to her friend, Fayola. The Green Lady of Cyan Serenity was kind, and true, and Elli was proud to call her Hunt Sister. As she relaxed, Elli's flakes quivered, alerting her to her daughter's approach.
"Mother... I cannot find father.. But I wanted to tell you..." She bowed ehr head, and then straightened. "I love this land as my home, but I wish to leave the Pride.. And hunt for my place."
Elli leapt out of her peaceful, relaxed haze, standing and jumping to the ground to meet her daughter's eyes.
"Jadera... Are you sure?"
Jade smiled. "Dashira and I have been away for a long time... And I have not seen Akitana in what seems like forever... I should visit her and Sabastian... And Rellick of course... But there is much I have not seen, that I would like to."
Elli nosed her daughter, tears in her eyes. "Goodbye my darling... Come home to visit, yes?"
"Of course mother..." She whispered. "Tell father I am sorry. but I must do this..."
Elli watched her oldest daughter trot off, heart in her throat. "I know dearheart..."

Rackna was silent for a moment, turning his golden eyes from Briseis to Kanashimi to Tay. He smiled slightly, nodding in acceptance to Kanashimi.
"Of course you may, my dear Kanashimi. It would be an honor for you to join us here."
His deep voice rolled out over the pridelands, and he nodded acceptance before turning back to Briseis curiously. He nodded again, but his face was set in a more serious appearance.
"Of course, dear child. I will always support you. Why do you ask?"

"Just curious," she smiled warmly to her adopted father and nuzzled him as a daughter would. "I'm going to go hunt or something..." she looked around curiously for something to do and then ran off herr ears perked up and eyes beaming.

Elli sought out her mate, smiling through her tears.
"Rackna... Jade has left..." She murmured. She didn't know what else to say, so she bowed her head and tried to stop her tears. "She bids you farewell..."

Kanashimi bowed to the king's back before turning away briskly. She would go explore and find a place to call her own. But first... food. It was now that she realized how hungry she was. I'll hunt whatever I may find on the way... With that, she trotted into the grasses, nose working constantly, trying to catch the scent of something.

The Amethyst Shaman sat and awaited Rackna's attention. It was time for her to claim her place as Shaman here. If she had to prove herself to the Scarlet King she would.
