Hi, I'm Phil, a 2nd Gen Japanese American living in Southern California.
I'm 20, with TERRIBLE JAPANESE SKILLS. I can speak casual conversations effortlessly, however, i have only been to japan twice in my 20 years of existence, and there are NO JAPANESE CLASSES OR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN JAPANESE CULTURE IN THE AREA OF CALI I LIVE IN XD.
therefore, i can cuss you out with ebonics, i can flame you en espanol, and i can speak proper english and legal terminology.
i can NOT read or write japanese, and the last time i did was a year ago where i BARELY passed the Japan Language Proficiency Test at level 4 (lowest).
I'm a full-on gearhead with an affinity for all sorts of automobile related topics.

Hello, all. I'm Spencer, I'm a 20-something college man, and I was at one point a Japanese student. Like many, many teenaged boys before me, I got into Japanese so I could get into video games. I'm sure there're lots of others here who did the same thing.
I've not trained in the language for around two and a half years, and it shows. That's most (if not all) of the reason I joined -- to receive aid in various Japanese-related pursuits. I'll make a topic about it, and you'll see what I mean.

Hello doods, I'm Kai, a Filipino... also known as the ovrwork guy who is too overworked and becomes unable to take care of even himself. I have little or none understanding of japanese but I have a ton of J-pop and j-rock songs that I don't even know the lyrics of. Also I have (J) only games that I cannot begin to comprehend... Luckily I'm a easy learner.

Hi! I'm Bunny, I'm 19 and I've been trying to learning Japanese for about 4 years now. My school high school canceled the Japanese class due to low interest right before I got to high school, and I haven't had any time to take a class in college yet. So, I've been on and off trying to teach myself. I like watching anime and listening to j-pop/rock, so I know a few phrases, and I'm learning kendo, so I know a few from that. I just hope that I can learn more from this guild.

Hello, I'm Miroko, but I prefer to be called c-Blossom, or just Blossom. Yeah. Anyway, I am so glad I found this guild since no-one here is apparently having an interest in Japan, it's like I have no one to blabber to. CX . Yes, I talk alot, and I'm glad I got approved to join. I'll try my best to be good, and I do hope I might be able to learn Japanese little by little. 3nodding
By the way, I'm eleven turning twelve this Wednesday, born January 30 at Indonesia. Yesh, I'm Indonesian, but I'm currently residing in Tanzania, and damn, it sucks here. My interest in Japan has started ever since I watched Naruto. [<3]. Hope to get along with any of you here. My Japanese sucks though. XD
Fav. Bands; Paramore, Flow, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, nobodyknows+.
Hnn. . . I prefer J-rock over J-pop, though. XD
... I wonder if anyone is reading ALL THAT.

Well...er...My names Alecs! I joined the guild because like everyone else here I love Japan. It started when I was like four. I found my first anime and from there the love of it grew and now here I am. Its all very exciting :] Im in the process of teaching myself Japanese from what I pick up in my anime and movies and from what I can look up online, so I might have a lot of questions in the future sweatdrop

こんばんわ皆さん!
[Konbanwa minna-san!] ^^
<...It's approx. 5:30 Pacific time...>
どうぞ夜しく。
[Douzo yorushiku.]
Well, where to start? I'm a junior in high school, currently studying Japanese this year at the local college and brooding over a mound of kanji homework... sweatdrop Though, I'm sure a lot of you know about that.
Anyways, whenever I do happen to have any freetime:
I love reading both novels and manga, watching anime, wandering aimlessly around Gaia, gaming with friends, having random verbal contests, and writing just about whatever comes into my head (I call it scribbling X.x").
I would be glad to help anyone that has any remedial questions about the Japanese language, but other than that--I'm just here to discuss and learn. 3nodding Oh, and do leave me a comment or PM if you want to chat. ^^
どうもありがとうございました。
[Doumoarigatougozaimashita.]

Konbanwa, I'm 21 and my online name is Ukyo. I live in Pennsylvania. I'm currently in college. My major is Japanese, I've learning Japanese for almost 2 years now. In September I'll be going to study abroad in Japan for 1 year. When I'm there I'll be attending Meikai University in Tokyo. I've never been so happy learning thing then as happy as I am learning Japanese. I think that everything about Japanese language and culture is amazing. I also love watching Anime and Japanese Dramas, and love reading Manga. Anyone fill free to pm me if you'd like. smile

Konnichi wa! My name is Miki, and I love, love, love Japanese! Ever since my friends showed me my first anime, I was hooked. i speak very little Japanese, but still enough to hold a small conversation. I can read and write a little too, but I am strongest in Hiragana (which still doesn't say much emo ). I do hope to get way better, though, because I am taking a trip to Japan in about a year, and hope to not embarass myself. 3nodding
And besides, it's an awesome language. =D
