Legion looked back ahead "It's amazing how much trees can cover in such a small amount of time."
Sith nodded "To think there use to be a city here before."
Lyla looked past them at Kingfinn and Quinlan "Don't get too far ahead." she was mostly talking to Kingfinn "If you fall down another hole I'm not digging you out this time."
Kingfinn looked back at her "I won't. You worry too much Lyla."

Teru sat up looking around to see if he could see anything and looked at the size of the trees to see how long have they actually been here.
Quinlan chuckled a small laugh as Kingfinn got told not to fall in a hole.

Sith looked at Teru "The trees here are around 700 to 1300 years old." she smiled "They get much older as you get closer to the castle ruins."
Lyla closed her eyes in a smile "The last time we all came here, Kingfinn fell through a hole in the ceiling of a buried chamber." she giggled a bit at the memory.
Legion laughed too "It's true. It took us two hours to get him out without causing damage the ruins."
Kingfinn sweated, looking back ahead embarassed "Ok, ok. You guys don't have to bring up the whole thing again."

Quinlan and Teru both felt confusion.
Then Teru felt the need to ask the question.
"Didn't you both wake up in these ruins?"

Sith tilted her head "Yes." she looked ahead at Kingfinn "I never really thought about before now, but the furthest memory I can recall is before I found Kingfinn's egg. It's of the paintings on the ruin walls, but they aren't faded."
Legion stopped walking and looked down in thought.
Kingfinn looked back at her "I only remember seeing them with the fades and scratches though."

Quinlan notice Legion looked down and she wondered if he knew something considering he is one the older dragons here, she then looked at Sithandra and ponder the thought is she really that old? And if Kingfinn is that old how come he hasn't grown that much, not unless he is a runt or perhaps a mishap of the eggs, in fact where are his parents. she mentally shot at Teru these thoughts.
Teru pondered as these as well, but would they return to the mainland with them? He then turn his train of thought back to the current conversation. "Interesting enough, maybe going back to the ruins now that we can unlock these unanswered questions. Even more to solve this mystery of yours."

Legion smiled at them "I think that would be worth a go." he looked at Sith "What do you think?"
Sith looked around at them all "You guys would do that for us?"
Lyla walked up next to them "Anythin' for you two hun."
Serenity peered up from behind Lyla's head and nodded in agreement.
Kingfinn waved his tail, looking up at them "What we waiting for then?"

Quinlan gave a kind smile seeing Kingfinn wag his tail she lightly bounded near his side flittering her wings with a whip like motion of her tail.
Teru chuckled as he felt the same stir of emotions of his bound.
"Yes agreed we will do anything for the two of you, correction we do anything for all of you."

Sith wiped the back of her hand over her eyes, looking at back them "Thank you. That means a lot."
Kingfinn looked at Quinlan and fanned his wings out, standing on his hind legs "You guys are gonna love it!"
Legion closed his eyes "You two lead the way."
Lyla sweated "Perhaps it would be fer the best if just Sithandra lead the way."
Sith laughed a bit.

Sith smiled "Kingfinn knows the way to the ruins almost as well as I do."
Kingfinn nodded, running ahead a bit "We've explored the forest before the ruins a lot!"
Legion laughed, starting to walk after Kingfinn "He may be young, but he's strong in all the right places."
Lyla closed her eyes in a smile "Then I shall follow him unquestioning as well."

Teru stretched his wings out and then folded them. "You all seem quite fond of each other. Almost like your family?"
Quinlann nodded and then just prance ahead up ahead with Kingfinn.

Kingfinn looked over at Quinlann with a big smile "You're gonna like it a lot!"
Legion chuckled softly at Teru's comment "We do seem like it." he looked up at the trees "We've all known eachother for quite a long time now."
Sith rubbed a hand behind her head "These guys are all I've known." she said and blushed.
Lyla smiled "One can never have too much family." she glance back at Serenity on her back "Ain't that right, hon?"
Serenity gave a happy nod in agreement.

Stretching his wings and ducking under a branch as a scar on his arm was more visible. "Ever think of leaving the Island?"
Quinlan then did a shuffle in the dirt and ran right into the ruins entrance turning around stopping whipping her tail around as her wings flutter bright and big in the light.
