No one noticed that the two left. Ergo would have smiled had he had a mouth or face. He closed the book, and a puff of dust & wind went up. The people directly around Ergo coughed. Ergo would have smiled wider at that. He left the Starbucks, and walked to the dorms. As he walked his right eye, glowing dimly in the dark night air, turned black, and the sign of a eye with a devils tail glowed blood red. He smiled even more. When he arrived in his dorm, he put his stuff away. He then laid down on the bed, and then his left eye turned black with the same symbol. Now to sit back and watch Alia & Jaws.

"Alright. What do we do now?" KC rolled her eyes at his obliviousness. Obviously, there was something they could do, but she wasn't really gonna bring it up. {{And I'm NOT suggesting what it sounds like. EW. I'm just writing filler.}} "Well, um... I guess we could anything here. He said he's removed us from reality, right? Well, that means... Anything goes. Sorta." Presley nodded slowly. "Still. There's nothing to do." KC growled slightly to herself. This guy was more a dweeb than she thought.

Ergo sat up, the red on black sigil fading from his left eye. He pull his book onto his lap, and began reading again, making notes in his notebook, and filling the book with post it notes.

Jaws started to disassociate, something she rarely had to do, saying as she didn't fight often, and when she did fight, it was rarely a good one. Alia knew what she was doing, Jaws had to admit. Time to let loose a bit.
She let the punch angle across her face, disassociating so that she didn't notice any pain. She suddenly brought her legs up underneath her, kicked Alia off with intense strength. She summoned a ball of flame in her right hand and sent it sailing towards her. She still felt a little dead weight, but she could still move with her shadow abilities. Or she could do...that. If she cut off her shadow and dragon abilities, she would go into Bloodlust form automatically. She didn't want to though, knowing how dangerous it could be. But it was more dangerous if she cut off the wolf half. Her Shade form was more than deadly. She decided to stick with her half and half form, the form that she'd been locked into by her 'father' to keep her at bay. She could release it, but she'd learned now just how dangerous it could be.
Jaws flipped around behind Alia using the shadows. "So what exactly did you do that's making me so sluggish?" Jaws asked, a curious hint to her voice, though she couldn't be found, one with the shadows. She knew she couldn't stay like that for long, though. The strange thing that Alia had done was working at her energy level slightly.

Alia's arm turned into a shield, reflecting the fireball, which hit some tree litter. Some of the undergrowth started to burn. Alia's smile dissappeared, and she yelled at Jaws in her sergents voice, "You stupid maggot. Fire balls in a dry forest." She flipped back, slashing the shadows Jaws was in with her arm-sword, and stomped out the fire. "You mean what did you do." Alia smirked and calmly stood.

"Dear, I could have extinguished it in a second but your reaction was too priceless to pass up." She paused, listening to Alia's next words. "Would it have anything to do with those shiny metal limbs you've got?" You could almost hear the grin in her voice. "And me leaving too many openings because I obviously underestimated your abilities?"

"Pride is a deadly thing to possess. It can cripple people." Alia laughed at her joke, completely at peace that Jaws could just come out of the blue and kill her.

"Ah, but we all possess it just the same..." she sighed, her voice dramatic. "So you going to tell me exactly what? I'm guessing you just put something into the system to mess me up." She laughed.

Alia shrugged. "We may all have pride, but to what degree." Suddenly, she fell onto one knee, gripping her arm and leg in pain. She screamed in agony as the metal seemed to...melt into a puddle on the ground. Alia cringed and whimpered like some frightened animal in pain.

Jaws suddenly felt a burning along her whole body, and it hit her in a flash exactly what Alia had done. She had injected the metal into her body to attempt to control her movements. Jaws ignored the pain, pretending it wasn't there, and focused all her power. She painfully removed all the metal from her body. The burning was gone at once, and she felt the rush of her raw power return. She sprang out from the shadows. "Alia?" she asked, unsure and slightly worried, though still on guard.

Alia was at this point, the human equivilent of a gravly injured puppy, licking its wounds in the corner. She was in a ball, slightly groaning and crying. She was covered in mud, and a bit of the quicksliver metal which now layed in two puddles on the ground.

Jaws felt worry work at her, but also a strong suspicion. She'd knew all the tricks. Using the mind link she rarely used, she skimmed the edges of Alia's thoughts. Trick.
She sprang back in an instant, silently returning to the shadows, becoming a shadow as she did so. Untouchable.
Not until she attacked again, that was.
"Nice try, Alia..." Jaws said softly, her voice from a few different directions at once.

Alia sat up, seemingly fine, her arm and leg reformed and she stood. "So, you're in shadows. I can't do anything to you there, so I guess it is a stalemate. I can't attack you, and you won't attack me. Why? Because of fear." Alia smiled

"Fear? Why, no. I do not fear you." Jaws chuckled, reappearing from the shadows with a wide grin, her eyes shining red. "But do you fear me?" She smirked and spun out with almost instant speed, delivering a kick across Alia's cheek before returning to the dark.

Alia didn't even flinch as she swung her torso around so she avoided the kick. She smiled as she returned to standing straight. "Of course I do. You could easily rip me apart from the inside, but the fear will be my weapon. That is why you cannot beat me by conventional means." said Alia. She closed he eyes and began to breathe steadily. "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer." she began to recite. "Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me." The world around he seemed to breathe in, holding its breath. "And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." Alia's eye opened slowly, and her eyes gave the impression of being someone completely different.
