-=Neko began to hobble his way to the med ward, trying to keep his shivering under control. His body temperature was still dangerously low, even for him. Once he reached the med ward, he turned around and examined the two behind him, his eyes narrowing=-

You two seem about as bad off as I am...

-=He gave a dry chuckle, followed by a hacking cough=-

"Last I checked, I am not mostly frozen, nor have I been for the past...as yet undetermined length of time." Nyl crossed her arms as best as she could. "Now sit."

~You're in enough trouble with me as it is. ...And I don't care what arguing you have to do about it, Seph, but I'll tell you right now, I'm going to need your eyes.~ She knew he would understand what she meant.

~Thanks, Nami.~

~What'd I do, this time?~

He closed his eyes for a few seconds, not even bothering to utter the jutsu. Veins pulsed around his eyes as they faded to a milky blue.

~Fifteen minutes, he says. We'll see. Oh--~ He pulled the neck of his shirt down and took his necklace off, a dragon wrapped around a red stone. It pulsed with chakra.

~Saved up for a rainy day, and it's pouring. If you need the boost, I'm offering.~

"So Reeve and Seph tell me." Nyl sighed again when she noted the absence of rolly-stool. She'd have to fix that, too, eventually. For now, standing would work. "New deal. You're mostly quiet and I won't screw up."

She would also have to figure out where all this cynicism was coming from. ...Later.

~That's enough. You understand I couldn't take the risk of something happening.~ She glanced briefly at the necklace. ~I actually can't use the chakra in that. Long story.~

Nyl shut her eyes and concentrated on the mix of heat and ijutsu she had been using before. She only had about ten minutes to get a lot done, after all. Within seconds, a red-violet glow spread from her fingers to the rest of her as she started to work.

"Yes. I know... If i had made more of an effort maybe i could find comfort with these people, but the Hikari students and Tutsumi have been all i have ever wanted. You give me all the comfort i need and i know if it means i condemn myself, then i will. For you guys are my world now, and i will do anything to protect my world. " They werent just the world but her family. As she spoke her eyes went calm and she smiled peacefully. Her power would seem to grow slightly more and she lifted the one hand she had free. Light dance around it, making her smile. This element had brought her close to the people she loved, the most she could do was listen to it and master as much of it as she could. Her eyes may have been a deep red but they grew softer then they had been. As if to read Gils mind she laughed slightly. "Gil i told you, i have lived a long time, i hold no strain right now.. Only worry." She whispered and then turned completely towards him. Her wings tucked slightly behind her so that it didnt over whelm her body. She looked no different in her Demon form then when she did when she was human. She only had ears and a tail, with white fluffy wings on her back. Other then that she looked like herself.

Seph nodded and returned the necklace, tucking it out of sight, closer to his body. He watched many things with Byakougan, already drawing on the stored chakra in his necklace to help fuel it.

He watched the chakra as it flowed from Nyl's body into Neko's system, warming and healing him. At the same time, he gazed through the exterior wall, towards the forest. It was teeming with life, and was never boring to watch.

But mostly, he watched himself. He kept an eye on his own core, as well as Nyl's and Neko's.
