I've considered going back and finishing my broadcasting/communications degree. I've always loved radio. Are you thinking of going into visual media?

Kat: what do you actually learn/study in a broadcasting class?

I'm glad you asked!

Basically the course I am taking for Broadcast news teaches people like myself how to write a good story for an anchor. So in a sense I'm the reporter.

I figure out my headline, make it short and sweet and to the point.

Then we have the Voice overs, which is basically your image clips or your video clips and you describe the situation there.

AND then you have the Sound on Tape which is when you take quotations from the interviewer and put it in your report

Finally you finish it off with another Voice Over.

The end.
