Eh, most 40k fansites generally post more 'revealing' stuff, and heck, the stats are on the GW website, so it's not a case of 'YOU MUST BUY THE CODEX TO KNOW THE STATLINES. OR ELSE.'

Asmondai Sir Doober That, and have fun trying to flamer bikes that can move 18 inches with the assault, or 24 with turbo-boost if they don't feel like assaulting. Who needs flame when you have plasma. heart
I wonder if GW publishes to sell the Wolf Guards in separate sprue-set, that assault cannons belt+ammoback looks awesome. :Ohttp://www.bitsandkits.co.uk/shop/article_SWGT19/SPACE-WOLVES:-WOLF-GUARD-TERMINATOR-BELT-FED-ASSAULT-CANNON.html?shop_param=cid=1&aid=SWGT19& Sup? :3

Inenor i finally broke down and spent the 38 dollars to make a captain on bike biggrin he's got a power fist, and i'm trying to find a melta gun to strap to his belt. Mount it on the back of his powerfist with a cable running for the fuel feed. Alternatively, have it mounted to his bike.

I have a few questions that i realized i have never had answered, nor have i... learned anything about. 1. i have an army that isnt ultramarines, or salamanders, or (enter name here) i kinda just made my own army. now, can i add for example Kor'sarro Khan to my army just cuz he looks cool? or do i need to be a white scars army?
2. what the hell is a chaplain? what does it do? whats the point/purpose of it?
3. what the hell is a tech marine? what does it do? whats the point/purpose of it?

Let me elaborate Wellies points.
1. Yes, you can take any character you want from a chapter. For example: I have Calgar in my Doom Eagles army, even though they aren't Ultramarines. Read the Counts As rule in the Space Marine Codex.
2. A chaplain is the spiritual priests of the Space Marines, they lead their brother-marines in prayer and are ferocious warriors with their Power Weapons. They can be taken as a HQ choice.
3. A techmarine is a Space Marine who has an affinity for machinery and was sent off to Mars at the start of his Space Marine training to learn the scared ways of the Adeptus Mechanicus. They take care of all the Chapters vehicles, armour and weaponry, as well some relics, like Dreadnoughts.
I hope that helps. smile

Step 1) Buy rulebook. Step 2) Read rules three times in their entirety. Step 3) Buy Codex. Step 4) Read Codex three times in its entirety. Step 5) Come to greater understanding of the game at large.

that does help thankyou but i do have one last question for now. Khan's Chapter Tactics states that i exchange the Combat Tactics special rule for the ability to outflank. (i have yet to figure out what outflanking is, but im going to look it up) lets say i dont like the sacrifice. can i add him anyway and just dont use that rule?

As far as I know, Chapter Tactics is an optional rule. I'm not a regular Marine player and don't have the book handy, so having someone else check it would be appreciated.
