themightyjello I can't see myself ever playing LoL again. Mostly because I'd have to buy it, and I don't really want to buy something that I used to get for free when I have no money to spend and so many other things that I'd want to spend it on first. ...then again, I barely played the game much at all when it was the free beta anyway. Mostly I used the characters that were annoying rather than effective, like Teepo. Teemo got a buff, Jello. But actually! League of Legends is 100% free. You can acquire everything in game for free, except for the skins for champions. Those do nothing except please the eyes though. And Teemo is retarded if done right now. @Edit: Heroes of Newerth is the one you have to pay for.

Teepo is a character from Breath of Fire III.

The Time Wizard But actually! League of Legends is 100% free. I was under the impression that you had to buy the game but play was free (barring premium content lulz). Then again, like I said, I stopped playing when the beta ended and even then I'd only played for like a month and probably only like 8 matches or so. Teemo and Blitzcrank were the ones I played most often, though I tried a few of the others just to see what they were like. They didn't have any guides or item lists up at that point either so the only real way to look at what items were available was to troll the forums or check in-game. And I didn't troll the forums. So most of my builds were throw-together "I feel like buying these this time" ones. Quote: And Teemo is retarded if done right now. I'm sure everyone is retarded if done right. But what I was saying was that my play style (considering I was a level 1 summoner and everyone else was level 30 so it was hardly a fair match at all) tended to revolve around b***h tactics and annoyances. Like using Teemo's blind attack, then the fatigue (?) special, then the blind attack again, for like a 12 second "all your attacks miss".

Kinda hard to fail with the characters now. They fixed the recommended items to where they all kind of make sense for the most part.
If you're up for it Jello, I'll play on a level one account. I need to make a new one for another referral anyway. Plus, Teemo is free this week.

i don't mind paying for things i enjoy, support a site. that's why i'd put down money for gaia.. not for *PIXELS* but for "hey, you did something cool, i like it, here's a nickel."

You buy the characters with in-game currency you get for winning/losing games. Come on Jello and Ecks. You know you both want to play a couple games.
