"You might be pregnant." Akila said, then looked thoughtful. "No, I think it's the opposite. It's been so long since I-- and the twins are already growing up." Akila sighed, then snapped back to attention. "What fabric do you want?"

Akila's dark eyes narrowed sharply at this question. She was suspicious of most people who asked about anyone relating to Bakura. "I knew one, yes. I heard she died, though." She answered coolly, turning away to fumble through her items. "Bakura's wife."

"Bakura never liked to stay long with me." Akila said, with another sigh. She found a white linen dress with blue trimmings. "This will need to be fitted, but try it on." She tossed the new dress at the woman. "He really has lost it since losing her, though. It's such a shame, though. I had hoped that having a woman in his life would give him time to settle." She was speaking a little more freely than she normally would, but her mind was wandering.

"Hmm." Akila examined the dress. She shrugged. "It looks fine on you." She was glad that no adjustments had to be made. "It's been like that his entire life, though. Poor man.. I'll give you three dresses like that for ten gold pieces."

Akila raised her eyebrows and was starting to pocket the money when a hand shot out and grabbed her wrist. Seto had returned just in time to hear this last exchange. "She's cheating you horribly, Ayira." He stated calmly, squeezing sharply and making Akila drop the coins. "It's shameless to make a person pay so much when they obviously don't know how to barter. I'll give you one gold piece, woman, and a promise not to have you killed for your despicable behavior."

Akila glared hatefully at Seto. "I shouldn't have expected better from swine like you." She snapped, pulling her wrist out of Seto's grasp. "How can you blame a poor old widow like me to avoid a chance like this? It's nothing personal, sweetie," She added, glancing towards Ayira. "But it was the priest's money and I know that a pompous a** like him could spare a few coins for a lonely widow with no husband to support her in her aging years."
Seto growled deeply in his throat. He now remembered why this woman seemed to familiar; she must be one of those people who worked with Bakura. Her tone was exactly the same as his. "You said widow more than once. Besides, trying to get sympathy doesn't work when you're insulting the person whose opinion matters most."

Seto glanced towards Ayira, then back at the glaring woman. He released her. "People like this won't learn if they aren't punished." He grumbled, resisting the urge to spit on the ground. He held out his hand to Ayira after the woman gave her the other two dresses. "Come on, let's get out of here."
