Tatsuman Yamato1 Tatsuman Yamato1 Sauvie Sonic is in Brawl, there are no ways around it at this point Dumb not to get sonic in there, so many factors say that people want him in, one being that april fools joke another being Mario & Sonic at the olympics One, that joke was done by EGM, a very neutral video game magazine. And Two, for all you know, Sonic may be in the Olympics because he's not in Brawl. See? It can swing either way. Yea, but there are cheat sites that to this day have that cheat listed. people wanted so badly for it too be true.
And I can swing it back. SEGA was originally going to make a Sonic Olympics game, but around the time of Snake's announcement, they suddenly acquired the rights to use Mario. Swing that back. xd That's not really swinging it back at me. The same point could still apply. Nintendo lets them use Mario so that they don't have to use Sonic. *shrug* Any way you put it, unless he's been announced by now, and unless he's remaining an unlockable secret, I don't think it's going to happen. But if I'm wrong, so be it. I just wish you guys weren't willingly setting yourselves up for anger and disappointment if he DOESN'T make it. I'm sorry, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Nintendo gives SEGA the rights to use it's money-maker so they don't have to use SEGA's cash cow? That just seems dumb.
Snake made it in. If you could've predicted that, you must be a prophet. Point being, if Snake can make it in, anyone can.
Plus the fact that Sonic was the #1 third party character requested. *broken record* Hmm.. Did I say I was predicting anything? No. I just said "I don't think it's going to happen". Not "It won't happen, ha ha, LOL". And yeah, it does seem dumb. Because I worded it incorrectly. But you still didn't really swing that back my direction. So it's still up in the air. And I'm going to go broken record too, and repeat what I've said before. Jigglypuff was not #1 on the opinion polls when SSB came out. It was only #4. Nor were Mewtwo or Dr Mario. (though Mewtwo was #2 for pokemon). Either way, those polls have not always been followed. Like I said. You're setting yourself up for anger and disappointment. I'm not saying his being in SSBB SHOULDN'T be. But I'm saying that you shouldn't be all geared up about it when it might not happen.

I can't think of any characters that were once on a Nintendo system that could be considered for it, to be honest. If Snake weren't allready Konami, I'd say one of the Belmonts of Castlevania legend. But... yeah. Either way, it will be a surprise, methinks. I remember someone saying something about Bomberman, but I don't think he's popular enough to go in, to be honest. *Shrug* I'd have to see the poll that Nintendo gathered on top 3rd party characters.

I'd like to see the Blue Bomber in Brawl, but I would rather not have EXE, which is probably the most likely.

And as for Square, that's all they've done is work on the DS. Most of their NES or SNES titles were Final Fantasy games, and with Final Fantasy, there is not ONE CHARACTER to remember all of them by. Granted, Fire Emblem has the same complex, but that's a Nintendo game. I can't for the life of me think of any. Bubble Bobble? There's a Maybe, though they would probably be paired up like Ice Climbers... Hmmm...
