It had been a few days since Kuro's incident with Renku, she had just now decided to wander the woods, waiting until any of the familiar threatening auras had deminished. She made no move to be silent in her trek through the dense woods, it was cool out, so she had worn a thick furlined cloak, it was white and it was quite obviously seen through the dark forest.
She sighed and lightly stroked the top of Makoto's head, telling him silently that she wanted to be alone, he bounded off silently, probably to hunt. She then turned to continue walking, she realized she had started to come into the area that was once the Keep. She turned abruptly and started in the other direction.
She kept her thoughts on Renku, Obake, and Irvine. She closed her eyes and sighed. She only had a few weeks until her elven night, she could possibly try and make a stronger barriar, but she knew it wouldn't be strong enough to stop him. The other option was to kill him, but then another leader would come and then would be after her. The next option was to gain a mate, which was out of the question, she refused to betray Ir- well, she just refused it.
"What am I going to do?" She asked quietly, but the darkness of the forest didn't answer her.

A supple wind caused the leaves in the forest to rustle, as it wound its way in and out between the tree; the whipping wind send the fallen leaves flying, just as it ruffled through Sylvr's hair and his scarf, which fluttered aimlessly behind him as he stalked through the woods. He burried his hands deep into his pockets, just as his boots dug into the ground with each passing step. His pale blue eyes peered broodingly through his dark sunglasses at some unseen object in the distance. Neither his path, nor his gaze, seemed to be aimed at any particular place, yet his gait declared that he walked with intent; a purpose uknown to any but himself, yet its presence was made clear in the manner that it drove him constantly forward.

Kuro was well aware of the faint unfamiliar aura in the distance, she paid no mind though, she had other things to worry about. She sighed, more tired than sad, and continued her walk. The wind blew, the air became a bit brisk and she pulled the coat around herself tighter.

*Kaiori dusts off her leather suit, which is full of rips and scratches. Blood drips down her legs and chest. She holds herself up with the help of a tree and promptly spits a mouthful of the crimson liquid to the ground. Her chest rising and falling rapidly shows her state of exhaustion and her eyes are almost pure white and wide with fear. Fear of death, fear of her mortality.*

Kuro turned when the smell of blood reached her nose, her eyes narrowed slightly as she stared into the dense foilage, searching for any sign of danger. She breathed in, now noticing the scent of death, someone was dying..
Curiousity got the better of her and she started to move in the general direction of which the smell was coming from.

Nnhh...*Kaiori struggles to move and her leg muscles twitch before giving out. She collapses to the wet earth. Blood drips from her wounds and now her mouth. Her eyes plead to the heavens for help, something she hadn't done in a long time. Damn mortality, damn it all. She gargles on her own blood and her icy blue eyes flicker in panic*

Kuro was getting closer, she could hear harsh breathing, then the distinct sound of someone collapsing to the ground. Deciding that it was worth the risk of danger Kuro walked quickly and calmly towards the figure only a short distance away.
When she arrived she found a woman, staring into the sky, almost as if she was praying, but whichever gods she prayed to seemed to pay her no mind as they left her to lay dying on the ground. Kuro saw the blood, her cold blue eyes scanned the woman, she was practically covered in it. She moved closer, exposing herself fully to the woman, unsure if she was even capable of acknowleging her presence.

*Kaiori watches the woman approach. Not sense her, watch her, she felt blind without magic, humanity felt so cold to her after the warmth of magic. The woman had yet to attack her, but by the looks of her she was no mere passing villager. Accepting this as her last few moments she decides to be frank.* Can I help you? *She rasps and her chest shakes. Her hair pools around her face sticking to it with blood.*

The next stop on the traveler's journy was the forest just behind the ruined crater that was the dojo. An all too familiar scent caught his nose and he pulled down the hood from his face. His fire red hair and crimson hues looked onward into the forest.
"The smell of blood. Fresh. Living at last..."
He said to himself walking faster following the scent. A twisted sense of excitement welled within him. Finally, something living was there. Something to...play with. Moving through the dense forest wall the smell got stronger and stronger almost intoxicating him. His eyes found two women one wounded and one moving closer. The traveler placed his hand on the tree next to him and stayed back in the bushes for now. His trail silently moving through the air in what one would call a wagging motion back and forth rapidly. The sight of other living creatures meant this place he had come to wasn't without its entertainment.
"Will we have to spring on them or will they find us first...we will wait and see"
he whispered quietly to himself watching with a great interest.

"Shouldn't I be saying that?" Kuro stated quietly. Her eyes flickeds amber for a second as she glanced toward the bushes, she then turned back to the woman.
Kuro had felt the aura of something else close by, but it's motions were hard to follow. When the aura had settled she channeled the being and found that it was too strong of a creature to fight with the dying woman on the ground. Kuro weighed her options and wished she had not asked Makoto to leave, he was faster. Making it to the waterfall was going to be easy, Kuro just didn't know if the woman could hold on long enough to get there.
"We need to leave. . . .coming with me?" Kuro asked her voice steady, she was now watching the bushes with full attention as she felt the aura there growing with enthusiasm. Her eyes had gone from their cold blue to full on warm amber. "Your choice." She shifted her gaze back to the woman, her hand going to the hilt of her sword at her hip.

*Kaiori glances at the now panicking woman. She wanted to die in peace not being ripped to shreds. Grunting and spitting up more blood she stubbornly gets to her feet. Sliding daggers out of her leather suit she looks helplessly at her now considered woman, friend.* Where to.
