Well Piper just raised an eyebrow at that. So they were left to wonder were they? Joy. Smiling at the little one once more then shaking her head she turned from the group. "I'll go fetch Raziel and father then." Hm, things to ponder over...obviously it was something...seeing as she wasn't telling them. Secerts weren't good things all the time. But she turned from them, heading out the room and upstairs to fetch the two.

"Hello Tahru." Zahara sat down on the chair in front of her and held out a palm, just waiting to see what she would do. "Nice to meet you little one." She looked at the blue on the little familiar's skin and couldn't help but wonder where it had come from. It was true she was quite a pretty little one but then seeing as it was Zahara's genetic material that had been used to make her, that made perfect sense. Well Kieran had blue to him, didn't he? And...Malik. But maybe it had just come from Laudi herself. Or maybe it was just a little tweak Laudi had used to distinguish Tahru.

Again with a smile. "Thank you M'Lady."
Taru, entranced by the woman with dark skin, held out a small hand just like Zahara did, touching the drown's fingertip with her won. Getting more curious, she actually crawled closer, picking up Zahara's finer, looking over it and the nail, then comparing it to her own. her eyes wide eyed with innocence. Her feathered wings twitched now and then. "Little one." She said back. Right now, she didn't know what it meant, she was just repeating noises.
Roarke waved a dismissive hand. "Of course I can take care of them. No problem really, I've thus far taken care of two good freinds, one was your daughter, one a good elf friend of mine. I can handle you nine. With that he set off down the path behind the tower. Cheerfully, he called back, "Come now! It's quite a long way to the academy!"

Daz lifted an eyebrow. Poor guy, he thought, he has no idea what he's getting himself into. These where not normal children. They chewed on everytjhing, got into everything and more. He shook his head and followed Roarke. The pups where already grouping around the wizard. tugging at his clotheing and nipping his hands. Soon they would begin asking annoying and repetative questions... about everything. Daz squared his shoulders for what he believed to be an interetsing journey.

Piper was heading back downstairs, Kieran in tow. "Yeah looks just like Zahara, except her hair is longer and she's got these blue tinges to her skin, kind of like us moon elves do. Complete with little feathered wings.
Kieran nodded lightly and gave a soft chuckle. "Maybe she's secretly half moon elven, or Tier'dal even." Oh he could think of quite the number of possibilities. He reached a hand up and patted at Raziel. "Well let's get this over with..." A nod to Zahara and Laudi as bod elves entered the dinning room. "Ladies."

Zahara smiled and reached out softly touching the little wings that were popping out of the familiar's back." She watched as Taru picked up her finger and inspected it and then tapped her nail against the table. The she pointed at Taru and said, "Taru." And a point at herself and she said slowly, "Zahara." A look up and a smile at Kieran, "Hello yourself. Come see how cute she is."

Roarke just laughed at all the children's antics. Wow! kids! He'd never had children this young in the academy before! Once apon a time, there were many families there, when the First Mage first erected the building. Maybe this was the first step in brining it to it's true glory. In a few hours, (Roarke sped up their walking pace, hopefully without all the pups noticing) they found themselves at the front steps.
FRaziel, while not as nervouse as before, still rung his hands. He was still afraid that if he saw his former mistress, he might be driven to go back with her, which he truly did not once. He really did like being with Kieran so much. So once inside, he saw his mistress...and was suddenly reminded of everything he had forgotten. Jumping off of Kieran, he flew over, hugging Laudi's neck and with genuine excitment. "Mistress! You're alive!" Any fear was forgotten.
Laudi patted raziel's head. "Awe, I know you'd remeber me. The others tell me you like it here though."
"Very much so. Keiran is very nice."
"Good good." She inspected Raziel like livestock, holding out his amrs, looking at his teeth and what not. "You've been keepoing busy? Havn't eaten any meat, have you?" Raziel simply responded with a "no," but smiled.
Tahru watched Zaharah raptly, She repeated, "Tahru," and "Zaharah." But it was obvous she didn't understand what the woman meant. her eyes followed Raziel as he flew, and she starred at Kieran and Piper in turn.

Kieran merely watched Raziel as he flew over to Laudi and took about hugging on her and let him inspect her. If he was hurt by the action he wasn't openly showing it. Busniess mode, is what his lover and daughter often called it. But he did as Zahara suggested, going over to look at the little familiar. "Cute indeed." Which in turn was also calling Zahara cute, noe wasn't it? But his look went to Laudi and Raziel. "Only do this if it's what he wants." Meaning Raziel had his own choice to make, Kieran wasn't going to put any pressure on him.
Piper was back at the table next to Zahara, watching the new little familiar go about her curious ways. "She really is adorable." And she took a seat at the table, elbows on the table top, chin propped in her elbow.

The pups all went silent, and then a sudden "Oooooooo" came from all of them. "This will be our knew home?" Asked Ori.
Daz smiled. Safe, they were safe. And thats all that mattered. The pups would have a chance to live. His heart felt a bit lighter.

"Yes she is. She's very curious too." Zahara watched Raziel and Laudi for a moment then turned back to Taru. She had quite a bit to learn and Zahara had to remind herself that Taru wasn't staying for very long so it wouldn't do to get attached to the little one. Though it was strange feeling like she was looking in a mirror. Zahara raised a hand and ran it through her own hair, remembering when her own hair had been longer than the familiar's. She didn't miss it, it had been a need of survival and there were many advantages to having the shorter hair. "I wonder what Malik will think."

"Ah well," she blushed a little bit. "It's what he wants." She patted his head. She knew him too well. "He's attatched himself to you now." There was a lack of enthusiasm in his voice when he had greeted her. She finsihed with her inspection. She smiled. "Plus, you've treated him so well. He's in perfect health. This is a good place for him."
Tarhu copied Zahara, and ran her fingers through ehr hair in an exact imitation.
Raziel blushed a little bit, hoping down form his old mistress's shoulder and onto the table. Tarhu was on him immidiatly, pocking at his wings and pulling at feathers, sticking her nose right in close to his face, looking all over the little guy. His blush deepened/ "I guess I was like this too..."
"Well, at elast until you all get sick of me and decide to leave. But I have to ask one thing. Don't elave without telling me. Cause if you try to come back, these stone lions might come to life and try to eat you." really, it was true. He Lead them up and itno the main foyer.

the pups eagerly waved to the lions before followinf Roarke. Once inside though tthey couldn't contain themselves and took off in all directions. Some were bent sniffing the floor, Mik was trying to touch everything insight, Kuro was running up and down the closest staris, Oris and Kaida were singing and barking "home, home, home, home, home with Roarke, home, home, home, FOOD!" they danced in little circles.
Daz smiled. :I doubt they;ll be leaving naytime soon."

Piper rolled her eyes. "Malik will just be happy that he didn't have a battle between familiar owners on his hands, messing up his property and what not. Where did that elf get himself off to anyway?" Then again...she didn't want that question answered...because Gods knew what the answer would be. She lightly shook her head.
Kieran merely watched. "Like any newborn, exploring thier world." Though he did chuckle as Raziel was made the center of Tarhu's attention, just like a child indeed. Wanting to look with their hands, not with thier eyes. Though he gave a look to Laudi. "I never treat my friends any less than what I treat myself or my family. And if you know surface elves, you know how we are about our bonds."

Zahara rolled her eyes, "Yes as long as he didn't have to deal with it he could use whatever means necessary." Yes, she was still upset over being used as a bartering tool but when she thought about it being for the sake of Kieran's continued happiness it was a bit easier to swallow, and after all Zahara had to admit that Tarhu was cute. "He's probably off torturing poor defenseless animals or something like that." Watching Tarhu as she inspected Raziel. She did have quite a bit to learn but Zahara had a feeling it wouldn't take long.

roarke watched them all with a bit of a slack jaw. The noise was almost defening in the sound amplifing chamber. "Right. Um...wolf kids sleep right?" Was it just him, or hadn't he just pulled these exaughsted kids from the water a few hours before? "Yeah, we'll go to the outside chamber. The one that has sunlight, they can run aroun there....
Laudi smiled again. "Actually, I've never relaly had the chance to meet and elves. They are rarer here than one might think. This little part of the udnerdark is somewhat backwater too other places. She looked at raziel though. "Raziel, would you please tell Tarhu everything you know about me, the Wizen famly, the twoer, the history."
Raziel coaxed Tarhu into a kneeling postition in front of him, although she was very grabby and kept looking at his hands and hair and anythign els she could get her hands on. It was...very odd working with a person of his size. "Yes M...Laudi." He wanted to make it obvious what his own decision was. He bent forward and started whispering in the other fairies ear, which at times was difficukt, because she kept getting distracted by thigns.
